"What else could it be?" The Witch tilted her head, "Felix, you wouldn’t be tattling to the Sword Maiden, would you?"

"Of course not," Felix said. "If you don’t mind, Magic Seat, I need to clean the Observer’s body. According to the Sword Seat’s requirents, you can’t be nearby while I work."

"Alright, alright, no problem." The Witch jumped off the bed and casually walked out of the room, "Make sure to clean thoroughly, I’ve heard that people who lie down for a long ti can develop bedsores."

"Oh, right." She suddenly turned back to remind, "Liss accidentally knocked over a cup of water while playing earlier, so Ash might be a bit wet."

"Alright."

"Actually, Liss not only knocked over the cup, she also—"

"No matter what abnormality I find, I’ll keep it to myself, Magic Seat, don’t worry!" Felix was almost ready to use a contract paper to prove she would keep her mouth shut.

After the Witch left, satisfied, Felix sat on the bed and sighed. She rested for a mont, glanced at Ash, and couldn’t resist giving him a kick.

She actually had no issues with Ash. In fact, before the Witch appeared, she had a quite positive impression of Ash, but ever since the "Two Queens" incident, her view of Ash had plumted to the level of hatred.

The more the Sword Witch cared about Ash, the more she despised him.

In her life, she detested n entangled with multiple won the most; no one understood the pain this kind of bastard behavior caused better than her. If Duke Vosloda only loved Demi’s mother, or her mother, she and Demi wouldn’t need to suffer so much.

But unfortunately, Ash was the highest leader of the Four Pillars God Sect, so Felix couldn’t even express her disgust, much less refuse her duties to care for him. Therefore, Felix could only vent her frustration by occasionally bullying the sect leader of the Four Pillars God—and not too harshly, as even a minor issue would be exposed under the Sword Witch’s intense scrutiny.

Felix adjusted Ash’s body, took a wet towel, and wiped him clean, her expression subtly changing as the task progressed—

"Huh?"

"This..."

"What on earth did the Magic Seat do?"

Once the work was finished, Felix sat on the bed, putting her legs up on Ash, stretching comfortably.

No one would disturb her at this mont, so she took out her Star Stone necklace, held it in her hand, and prayed silently.

If anyone found out, she would be done for.

Because she wasn’t praying to the Four Pillars Gods.

She was praying to the Star Cluster.

Don’t get wrong, she hadn’t betrayed the Four Pillars God Sect. She remained firmly against the Starry Sky and Dazzling Star, but the sect couldn’t fulfill her needs, and the Star Cluster didn’t specifically refer to the Dazzling Star Magic Master; it was just a very simple yearning.

In the Kingdom of Stars, there’s a legend, "the stars in the sky are all transford from the dead," but the Church never acknowledged this, so Felix didn’t see herself as defecting to the Church. She simply believed in the Star Cluster, praying for peace to her mother who had beco a star.

But she found no peace, as Demi’s words still lingered in her mind, refusing to leave.

"Father loves ... in his own way?"

She murmured, "Who could possibly believe that at this point?"

However, Demi’s visit this ti did verify their theory—Duke Vosloda had entered the Kingdom of Allstars’ guardian ritual, which is why he had passed the position of Family Head to his eldest son!

It wasn’t just Duke Vosloda; besides the ’Painter’ Sword Flower Principal in Jiale City, other legends had vanished entirely, at least half of them entering the Kingdom of Allstars. Bound by the Stars Blessing, these legends could not defy the Dazzling Star Magic Master’s oracle!

Which ans...

Felix looked at the sleeping Ash beside her, gently brushing her hand against his cheek.

"If you et that man," she said softly, "could you ask him..."

"If he ever loved his daughter."

...

...

Kingdom of Allstars.

"If you encounter any of the following wanted criminals, please imdiately notify the police departnt and do not act rashly. These wanted persons are extrely dangerous criminals!"

Filly glanced at the information pushed to her phone, took a quick look at the hand-drawn images of a pink-purple girl, black-haired boy, white-haired man, and tall woman in the wanted poster, then closed the phone and turned into a shortcut alley.

"Fight back, why aren’t you fighting back, weren’t you tough just a mont ago!?"

"Run, do you think you can get away?"

Suddenly, a clamor arose from the alley ahead. Normally, Filly would avoid such situations, but today she took a deep breath, clutching the sword bag in her hand and bravely walked in.

She saw a gang of thugs chasing a raggedy-cloaked drifter, incessantly throwing stones at him. The drifter could only flee in panic, choosing not to run to the main street but instead further into the secluded alley, perhaps because his ho was there.

"Hide, go on hiding!" The gang leader picked up a brick and threw it, "You broke my brother’s leg with one kick, and now I’ll break your two legs if you don’t stop. If you keep hiding, I’ll break all your limbs!"

"That kid kicked first,"

The drifter’s voice was heavy, hoarse, and worn, clearly not young. His shoulder was hit by a brick, which shattered. His body swayed slightly. Seeing this, Filly couldn’t hold it anymore and, taking a bamboo sword from her bag, charged forward to block the thugs, shouting, "Stop bullying!"

The young thug was stunned, then overjoyed, "Look, a little lamb walked right in!"

"Ha, you can’t even protect yourself, and you want to play hero?"

"Guys, I’m going in first!"

As the gang leader rushed in, Filly was just about to swing her sword when a voice ca from behind, "Step back."

Without any reason, she instinctively followed the guidance, just in ti to avoid the li powder thrown by the thugs, then accurately thrust her sword into the gang leader’s throat.

"Black Wolf Bro!"

"Don’t let her get away!"

"She’s just one person! Let’s get her!"

"We... ah!"

"Her sword’s broken; she’s finished!"

"No!"

"rcy, rcy..."

As the alley lay covered with thugs, bloodstains, and teeth scattered all over, Filly let out a long sigh. Her face was flushed, realizing she’d worked up quite a sweat.

Dealing with these thugs was a piece of cake for her. She’d taken out groups before using just a broom, but it was her first ti using a bamboo sword.

Though the bamboo sword was more convenient than a broom, however...

She looked down at the broken bamboo sword, feeling disheartened, "I just bought this bamboo sword for my swordsmanship class... how did it break so easily..."

"Swordsmanship class?"

Filly turned her head, surprised to find the drifter still there. She quickly asked, "Are you hurt? Is it difficult for you to walk? Do you need to help you ho?"

The drifter was noncommittal, instead asking, "Do you know swordsmanship?"

"I do... but not very well." She tilted her head, "But I think I have so talent, so I signed up for swordsmanship classes to learn properly."

"But the classes only teach basic stuff; I feel like I don’t need to learn it." She glanced at the thugs behind her, hands on her hips, proudly declaring, "But I managed to take them down, so my swordsmanship must be quite impressive."

"Pathetic, absolutely pathetic; if I were you, I’d want to die of embarrassnt with that broken sword." The drifter bluntly critiqued.

Filly felt both hurt and defensive, "You’re talking big, but why didn’t you fight them off just now?"

"If you hadn’t co, I would’ve stepped in."

Filly stuck out her tongue, "La la la, I could also claim to be the best at swordsmanship under the starry sky; anyone can brag, how shaless."

"But my swordsmanship truly is the best under the starry sky."

The drifter lifted off his hood, revealing ssy golden hair, "Would you like to learn?"
