The rain poured down in torrents, the wind howled, but only Ash endured the relentless storm. The immaculate presence surrounded by Dazzling Star before him was untouched by the slightest malice of this world.
"Magic Master Dazzling Star."
In this suffocating silence, Ash’s voice was like a bolt of lightning, each note seed to be imbued with the anger folded countless tis from the depths of his soul, "Is that your na?"
"That is my revered na, but I see no respect in your eyes." Her voice was ethereal and haughty, even as she spoke in the sa tone, it only made Ash feel alienated and disgusted, "Do not force yourself, a na is just a symbol, you can call Dazzling Star, Ash Heath."

Ash first thought of the ti he entered the Dazzling Star’s realm, but then quickly realized: "Eight years ago—"

"From within?" Ash paused, "Didn’t you wait until everything was accomplished to co from outside, seize Filly’s body, and steal her victory?"
"You seem to think I predicted Filly would obtain the Supre Holy Grail, so I stayed calmly in my Heavenly Kingdom, waiting for Filly to defeat everyone, then descended to claim victory." Dazzling Star chuckled, "Sorry to disappoint you, I am not an All-Knowing conspirator of such scheming."
"Furthermore, if I could enter from the outside, the All-Knowing could do the sa as well. Do you really think they would peacefully exit the competition after losing? What just tore through the Heavenly Curtain was rely a Wonder of resurrection, a Wonder to resurrect Filly."
"Good thing the Supre Holy Grail has already erged, the Source Angel has lost all authority, otherwise I wouldn’t dare to risk letting even this resurrection Wonder inside."
Ash’s pupils contracted sharply, "Resurrect... Filly?"
"Yes, it’s not Dazzling Star’s descent but Filly’s resurrection." Dazzling Star seed quite willing to explain the truth to Ash, "Do you really think Filly managed to overco so many obstacles on her own? How did she stumble upon the first Holy Grail during the first Angel Hunt after you and Filly were separated? How did she avoid the pursuit of the Six Kingdoms Army during the second Angel Hunt and find you in the comrcial street?"
"I’ve always been here." Her voice sounded like both declaration and curse, "Filly and I are one."
Ash thought of many things at once, gazing at Dazzling Star, his face looked so pale it was almost despairing.
"Do not show such disrespectful expressions." Dazzling Star’s tone suddenly cooled, "If I really desired to bless you, your only attitude should be to feel suprely honored because this could change your final fate."
"But the one who likes you is truly Filly." She said, "I’ve watched her grow fond of you, saw her flutter like a deer because of your words, observed her dilemma and sorrow when she set her heart on you, watched her list all the evidence that you might like her in a notebook, then blush and cover herself with a bedsheet after writing it down, her legs kicking the mattress making it bounce..."
"Though she and I are one, only when she doesn’t know how to move forward do I suggest the correct path. At other tis, especially when you’re guiding her, I’ve never interfered with her actions or affected her emotions."
"She has tried countless tis to persuade herself to let you go, but upon seeing you, she’d fall again." Dazzling Star said calmly, "I still don’t know what kind of feeling ’liking’ is, but I guess she probably likes you very much."
She glanced at the teor shower on the Heavenly Curtain, then glanced sideways at Ash, "You shouldn’t have ntioned walking together in the sunshine, such unfulfilled promises only add another regret before she disappears."
Thankfully, Ash was sitting inside a sports car, otherwise he would have slumped to the ground like a spineless dog. He grasped the steering wheel with trembling hands, exhaled a breath of despair into the cold air, and looked up at Dazzling Star: "Was Filly your demon from the start?"
"Yes."
"You and Filly are one, but was Filly the master identity?"
"I don’t quite like the term identity," Dazzling Star said, "You can think of it like an iceberg. Normally you see Filly, who floats above the sea, but beneath the surface, there’s . After descending into the demon vessel, I didn’t choose to override her will but chose to rge with her then separate out, allowing her independent will while I could influence her actions at critical monts."
"To use a term you’re more familiar with," she seed to say without malice, "just like you’re the touch of the Gods of Four Pillars, Filly is my touch."
Ash hissed, taking a deep breath, "Why?"
"Hmm?"
"Why didn’t you overwrite Filly’s will, like other demons?" Ash lifted his head, voicing his greatest doubt, "Why didn’t you act directly, but had to rely on Filly to achieve your goals?"
Upon hearing Ash’s question, Dazzling Star’s lips curled into a sweet smile, her babyish cuteness identical to Filly’s made her appear endearing, as if Ash had given her an opportunity to brag unrepentantly: "Because that is my most proud wager."
