Ash could have asked Hanna for money, but she insisted on him showing possession of Technique Spirits, then allotted funding based on the number of Spirits. If Ash asked for money frequently, Hanna would question why he used the Spirits so often, whether he was paying dues sowhere else, or whether he was starting a business behind the boss’s back. Ash felt that continuing like this would sooner or later expose anomalies in the Void Realm Exploration, so he tried not to reach out to Hanna for funds.
“So are you still not willing to join Belladett?” Yvalin said, “I could give you a very lenient contract.”
“You’ve been harassing for days,” Ash said, “Honestly, isn’t Harvey actually your better choice? He’s bound to inherit your ancestors’ legacy — dig up your family grave, no less.”
“His trouble is really too much.
