After a while, Adelle poked her head out from the bed and looked out to the balcony. She saw Sonia leaving the dormitory area before saying, “What do you all think?”
“Played by a bad man in the palm of his hand,” Lois said calmly. “What else is there to see? It’s hopeless.”
Ingrid was shocked, “Even Sonia can be played with emotionally?”
“Holy Sanctuary Mages are also affected by physical hormones,” Adelle said moodily. “But this is the first ti I’ve seen Sonia so sweet; maybe she’s not only forgiven the scumbag but possibly taken it a step further. Lois, what do you think?”

The Sword Maiden tilted her head, confusion spreading across her face.
“Connected… what does that an? Holding hands?”
Adelle exchanged a look with Lois, both showing incredible shock in their eyes—how could Ingrid, of noble birth, lack even the basic level of common knowledge?
Compared to Sonia, Ingrid was truly the lamb, likely an easy target for a scumbag!
With the grand mission of enlightening her roommate, Adelle beckoned Ingrid, “Co up here, I have so nice videos to show you…”

Weiser opened her eyes to darkness. Her neck was entwined with a luminescent green, like a python ready to strangle at any mont.
The Fla White Tiger, serving as a makeshift bed, yawned and nudged Weiser with its tail, urging her to get up. But Weiser lay on her side, sinking into the fluffy tiger pelt mattress, with the Fla White Tiger having no choice but to keep lying down.
“They’ve reconciled…” she murmured softly.
After the end of the “Curse Word Suffix: True vs. False,” the Sword Witch had taken the Witch aside for a brief talk, and the team had returned to a peaceful state. Although Weiser didn’t participate in that banquet, it was clear that the Sword Witch had likely proposed ‘mutual retreat’ as a condition to continue moving forward with the team.
While they reverted back to cordial teammates without overstepping boundaries, their relationship hadn’t regressed; instead, it had progressed further.
Weiser had thought that this would surely hurt them, but she hadn’t expected that a group of people unwilling to let go would also be willing to not harm others. In the past, she wouldn’t have understood their way of thinking, but now, she could faintly grasp the conflict in their hearts.
Like her, she felt regret that Ash hadn’t severed ties with the Sword Witch, but when she heard Ash’s tone no longer gloomy as it had been in the past days, she couldn’t help but feel so joy.
Yet, Ash’s happiness had nothing to do with Silver Lamp.

She stared blankly into the night, feeling her eyes growing more and more sore, but she refused to wipe them with her sleeve, letting the tears escape down her cheeks until her vision blurred. She didn’t notice, the constricting green around her neck was slowly tightening.
At that mont, a boxy cicada on the head of the Fla White Tiger suddenly lit up. She looked through bleary eyes, and the golden light rippled in her tear-filled gaze, occupying her view like a golden river.
Golden river.
She abruptly dried her tears, then bit her lip lightly on her fingertip, her weakness swept away, replaced by infatuation and resolve.

The constricting green stopped tightening, returning to normal.
