Chapter 881: Chapter 670: Harboring Sinister Motives

Half an hour later, a millennial spectacle appeared in the Distant Realm.

The Holy Sanctuary Mages, who should have been exploring countless bubbles, were now gathered in one place.

Two thousand mages unfolded their Holy Domains, floating in the air, and as ti passed, more mages flew in swiftly, flapping their three-wings.

A single stone stirred up countless waves.

The news that the Blood Moon Sorcerer broke into Dream Heaven spread like a plague, spreading within seconds across the six realms.

No matter if you were a city official in the Kingdom of Gospel, a high-ranking clergy in the Kingdom of Senluo, a noble professor in the Kingdom of Stars, or a reclusive figure unknown to all, unless previously heavily injured or unable to receive the information, there was no exception—everyone hurried to this unprecedented feast of conflict.

Each mage that arrived, seeing the thousands of Holy Domains outside the golden bubbles, struggled to suppress the tumultuous emotions within their hearts.

Even though they hadn’t seized anything yet, the spectacle alone was sothing they would rember for a lifeti—this would probably be the only ti in their lives they ever saw so many Holy Domains.

At this mont, they finally understood the weight of the phrase, “The Void Realm is the hocoming of all mages.”

Blood Moon, Dazzling Star, Senluo, Paradise, Earth Abyss, Gospel!

The massive commotion caused by the Blood Moon Holy Domain in the Void Realm had the whole world’s Holy Domains rushing to the scene within half an hour!

Mages from six realms gathered!

Even though Holy Sanctuary Mages can hardly leave their own country, to them, mages from other realms are like distant fairy tales, stories in novels, virtual characters behind screens—known but untouchable.

In the Sea of Knowledge, shrouded by white mist, a One-winged Mage traveling ten thousand miles without encountering another mage was entirely normal.

On the Ti Continent, covered by golden rain and filled with crises, even if a Two-winged Mage encountered another, unless they were acquainted, they would typically quickly distance themselves for safety.

In the Distant Realm, it’s even more unlikely; mages are divided among countless bubbles, with numbers exceeding tens of thousands, making encounters even rarer than on the Ti Continent.

However, starting from the Holy Domain, if mages do encounter each other, it often leans more towards an atmosphere of communication, rarely sparking conflict upon eting—since attacking can’t kill anyway.

The Holy Domain provides a sense of security, which is the premise for equal communication.

If you replace them with multiple Two-winged Mages eting on the Ti Continent, they would prepare Defense Miracles at the first sight, or hide if none, and it’s already a blessing if they don’t fight, let alone communicate.

So might wonder, can’t both mages be good people, given that all are cautious of each other? Indeed, most mages are rule-abiding ordinary people in reality, but once they enter the Void Realm, it’s a different story.

The Void Realm has two main characteristics: logging in and out at any ti, and difficulty in tracing back to reality from the Void Realm.

Simply put, if you strike soone in the Void Realm, even if you don’t kill them, there’s nothing they can do, as it’s likely a once-in-a-lifeti encounter.

An anonymous, rule-free, and reality-unaffected zone becos an online veil, naturally turning into a troll cesspool.

And from ancient tis up to now, the Void Realm has always been this way.

Even if you’re an ordinary person in reality who hasn’t even killed a fly, who mourns the death of strangers, it’s not unusual for you to develop a malicious urge to kill another mage upon eting them in the Void Realm, as no one restrains you there.

Moreover, even if you don’t have such a thought, how can you be sure the other party doesn’t?

Not to ntion many other influencing factors, like being a Gospel Elf Mage, while the other is a Blood Moon Goblin Mage persecuted by society—you’ve never discriminated against goblins in your life but are hunted by them due to the Blood Moon society structure.

Additionally, there are benefits to slaying mages—generally, even if a mage is killed, they only lose their soul, not completely perish. And in their lost soul, there’s a high probability they leave behind a Technique Spirit, which becos the spoils of war.

The first two layers of the Void Realm are a dark forest where everyone can hunt each other without any consequence.

But entering the third layer, with the ergence of the Holy Domain, everything changes. An unbreachable barrier allows trust to grow, letting malevolence dissipate.

Scavenger dynamics gather courageously to discuss forming teams and even subtly oppose the Mage Corps representing the Divine Lord, all because of the courage given by the Holy Domain.

No matter what happens, they believe the Holy Domain can hold for a while, providing them the opportunity to retreat and counterattack!

A retreat is the greatest asset in an adventure!

And thus erged the grand scene of two thousand Holy Sanctuary Mages covetingly observing.

Currently, the Distant Realm comprises four main clusters: Blood Moon Holy Domain, Paradise Holy Domain, Earth Abyss Holy Domain, and all the other Holy Domains.

The first three have approximately a hundred mbers each, while the ‘others’ consist of two thousand!

However, these ‘other two thousand Holy Domains,’ without unified leadership, even lack groups of ten or more, many are in threes or fives, while more are lone wolves acting alone. Not to ntion if any valuable treasure is encountered, they would start fighting amongst themselves; it’s just an appearance of grandeur.

They resemble a swarm of vultures blocking out the sky, waiting for lions to leave scraps behind, but should a lion be injured, they wouldn’t mind disgracing the Divine Lord either.

Thus, Baiyu paid no attention to these ragtag bunches, locking his gaze on the distant Curse Elf and Parasitic Mage, scratching his bird nest-like hair, and clenching the red lightning in his right hand: “Extre Lord never ntioned there’d be a confrontation phase…”
