It was none other than Devara gently pulled Gandhari against him.

The playful king from earlier had disappeared now.

His voice lowered softly near her ear.

"No matter how many people enter my life..."

"...every one of them will have their own place in my heart."

He tightened his embrace slightly.

"But your place..."

His eyes softened deeply.

"...was the first."

"The very first love I received without asking for it."

Gandhari’s eyes slowly filled with tears.

Devara rested his forehead lightly against her hair.

"And I will never lose it."

His voice carried absolute certainty.

"If I ever lose my love for you..."

"...then it would an my existence itself has been erased from this universe."

The words shattered the remaining fear inside her heart.

Gandhari imdiately turned and hugged him tightly.

Tears finally escaped freely from her eyes as she nodded weakly against his chest.

"I know..."

Her voice trembled softly.

"I already knew..."

She looked up at him tearfully.

"The astrologer warned long ago."

"He told your destiny would connect you with many people."

Her fingers slowly touched his cheeks gently.

"But I still chose you."

A faint broken smile appeared on her lips.

"Because I love you too deeply."

"In my heart..."

"...your na never stopped echoing."

"Your face was already carved into my soul."

"How could I ever forget you?"

Even the apsaras quietly lowered their gazes hearing her confession.

"...."

"...."

"...."

Because the love in her voice was painfully genuine.

Then Gandhari lightly wiped her tears before glaring faintly at him again.

"But still..."

"I needed to make sure no beautiful vixens were trying to take advantage of my husband."

The apsaras imdiately protested together.

"We are not vixens!"

"We are celestial dancers!"

"We suffered for a hundred years!"

anwhile Devara laughed softly for the first ti since the tension began.

Then gently—He leaned down and kissed Gandhari’s forehead.

"I will never stop loving you."

The butterflies continued circling around them beneath the evening sky while the sacred river flowed peacefully nearby.

And for several quiet monts—

Nothing else existed for the two of them except each other’s eyes.

The sacred mont between Devara and Gandhari continued for several quiet monts.

Neither seed eager to let go.

The tension from earlier had disappeared completely.

The riverbank had beco peaceful once more.

Even the apsaras who had caused the commotion stood quietly now, allowing the husband and wife their mont.

The guards wisely pretended to be very interested in the surrounding scenery.

anwhile, the sacred waters of the Ganga River began moving strangely.

At first, nobody noticed.

The currents slowly gathered together.

Then the river itself started rising.

The water climbed upward against gravity, forming a magnificent pillar of shimring blue light.

Everyone imdiately turned toward the river.

"...."

"...."

"...."

The guards dropped to one knee.

The apsaras lowered their heads respectfully.

Even Satyavati instinctively bowed to her sister.

Because they all recognized what was happening.

A divine presence had arrived.

The waters continued rising until they slowly ford the graceful figure of Ganga herself.

Her appearance illuminated the entire riverbank.

The flowing waters wrapped around her like living silk while countless droplets sparkled around her like stars.

For a mont, she simply watched.

Her gaze rested upon her son.

Upon Gandhari standing within his embrace.

Upon the sincerity of their hearts.

Upon the trust they shared.

And seeing it—A warm smile appeared upon the goddess’s face.

The smile of a mother proud of the path her child had chosen.

The smile of a goddess who could see countless futures stretching before him.

Then her divine voice echoed gently across the riverbank.

"Devara."

The young king finally looked away from Gandhari and toward his mother.

Imdiately he bowed respectfully.

But Goddess Ganga shook her head softly.

Today she did not appear as a goddess.

Today she appeared as a mother.

"You have chosen compassion again."

Her eyes held warmth.

"You looked upon cursed souls and saw friends."

"You looked upon loneliness and offered companionship."

"You looked upon fate and sought not glory, but the happiness of others."

The river itself glowed brighter.

Everyone present felt an indescribable peace wash over them.

Then Goddess Ganga raised her hand.

A gentle stream of divine light descended from her fingertips and settled upon Devara.

The blessing carried neither overwhelming power nor destructive might.

Instead—It carried comfort.

Hope. Peace.

The very essence of the sacred river itself.

Then the goddess spoke her blessing.

"Wherever your footsteps travel... may hearts find comfort."

"Wherever your shadow falls..."

"...may weary souls find rest."

"Wherever your presence reaches... may hope bloom like flowers beside a river."

"May your existence beco a refuge for the lost."

"May your kindness continue to guide those who wander in darkness."

The blessing settled into Devara’s soul.

The air itself seed lighter afterward.

Even the apsaras felt their hearts beco calr.

The guards felt their worries lessen.

The entire riverbank seed filled with warmth.

Then Goddess Ganga smiled one final ti.

A mother’s smile. A proud smile.

And slowly her form dissolved back into the sacred waters.

The river returned to normal as though nothing had happened.

Yet everyone present knew they had witnessed sothing extraordinary.

Inside Devara’s mind, a familiar sound suddenly echoed.

[-DUM!-DUM!-]

A blue notification window appeared before him.

[Title Acquired...]

Sacred River’s Grace.

Those who genuinely seek refuge under your protection will experience accelerated emotional and spiritual recovery.]

The notification remained floating for a few monts.

Then disappeared.

Normally Devara would have imdiately started questioning the system about the new title.

Normally he would have spent several minutes reading every effect carefully.

Today—He ignored it completely.

The system itself seed offended.

Because all of Devara’s attention remained focused on only one thing.

Gandhari.

Standing before him with tears still lingering in her eyes and a smile upon her face.

The title.

The blessing.

And The divine miracle.

All of it beca secondary.

Because at that mont, Devara was simply happy to see his wife smiling again.

And sohow, that simple smile felt more valuable than any blessing the heavens could ever offer.

The sacred riverbank slowly returned to normal after the blessing of Ganga.

Yet before the peace could fully settle, another familiar sound echoed inside Devara’s mind.

[-DUM!-DUM!-]

A second blue notification appeared before his eyes.

[Hidden Quest Completed...]

The notification vanished a mont later.

For once, Devara didn’t even bother checking the details.

There were more important matters before him.

Which he needs to attend to.

After finally separating from Gandhari, he turned toward the five apsaras standing nearby.

"...."

The sisters expected many things.

Perhaps a royal welco with acceptance.

Perhaps a declaration of not able to taking them in.

Perhaps questions about their life.

What happened next stunned them instead.

Without hesitation, Devara brought his palms together.

And bowed.

A full respectful bow.

Which one would give to soone who he had wronged.

The entire riverbank fell silent.

"...."

"...."

"...."

Even the guards looked shocked.

"Prabhu?"

Varga blinked in confusion.

"...."

Devara kept his head lowered.

"I owe all of you an apology."

The five sisters froze hearing him.

"...."

"...."

"...."

His voice carried genuine sincerity.

"I knew nothing about your past. I knew nothing about your suffering. I treated you as friends..."

A small awkward smile appeared on his face.

"...but I also made things difficult for you."

The smiles on the apsara’s faces slowly beca strained.

Because they already knew where this was going.

Devara looked directly at Varga.

"And especially you."

Varga imdiately had a bad feeling.

"You suffered the most."

The guards quietly nodded.

They had only t her today and already felt sorry for her.

"You carried on your back."

"You listened to my endless stories."

"You played my gas."

"You let pull your tail."

Varga’s eye twitched. The mories returned like a nightmare.

"And whenever I got bored..."

Devara rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

"...I would co looking for you."

A few guards lowered their heads to hide their laughter.

anwhile Varga looked ready to strangle him.

"I am sorry."

The words were simple.

But sincere.

"I should have treated you better."

For several monts nobody spoke.

Then suddenly all five apsaras stepped forward together.

"Prabhu."1

Before Devara could react, they quickly raised him back upright.

"A husband should never bow before his wives."

The five sisters looked almost horrified by the idea.

anwhile nearby, Gandhari’s eyebrow twitched.

Dangerously. Very dangerously.

But thankfully she remained silent.

"...."

For now.

Devara simply shook his head.

"No."

His answer was imdiate. Firm.

"If a person hurts another person..."

His gaze moved across all five sisters.

"...whether they are man or woman, husband or wife, king or servant... then apologizing is the least they can do."

The evening breeze swept across the riverbank.

The words struck the five apsaras deeply.

Because there was no pride in his voice.

No arrogance. Only honesty.

To Devara, admitting a mistake wasn’t weakness.

It was responsibility.

Sothing many powerful people forgot.

Varga found herself unexpectedly smiling.

The sa was true for her sisters.

Perhaps that was why fate had chosen him.

Not because he was strong. Not because he was blessed.

But because his heart remained humble even after becoming a king.

Before the atmosphere could beco too emotional, however—Soone coughed.

Loudly.

-Cough!

Everyone imdiately turned.

There stood Gandhari.

Smiling. A very beautiful smile.

A very dangerous smile.

Without saying a word, she stepped beside Devara and firmly interlocked her fingers with his.

Then she looked at the five apsaras.

The smile never left her face.

The ssage was perfectly clear.

Yes, they could stay. Yes, she accepted fate.

But everyone should rember exactly who the First Queen was.

The five apsaras imdiately understood.

Varga wisely decided not to challenge that statent.

The other sisters ca to the sa conclusion.

anwhile Devara remained completely oblivious.

"Why is everyone suddenly staring at each other?"

That question finally broke the tension.

Rajmata Satyavati burst out laughing.

"-Hahaha!!!"

The guards followed.

Even the apsaras couldn’t hold it anymore.

And standing there beside the sacred river, surrounded by laughter, butterflies, family, wives, and newly freed souls—Devara unknowingly looked exactly like the blessing Goddess Ganga had given him monts earlier.

A refuge.

A place where troubled hearts could finally find peace.
