Now reading: Chapter 246: Kaido Arrives from Marineford's Logistics Blacksmith, a Action novel by DaoistJinzu.

From ordinary Marine sailors all the way up to Admirals and Fleet Admirals, if there was one person universally acknowledged as the hardest to deal with, it was definitely the man with a glorious history of shaless freeloading, the so-called Marine Hero, Monkey D. Garp!

Even Hamr had absolutely no way to deal with this old geezer who spent all day eating, sleeping, eating, and sleeping.

That old bastard Sengoku had clearly calculated this point perfectly, which was why he sent Garp to deliver the supplies.

He knew full well that Hamr feared neither heaven nor earth, except for soone even more shaless than himself.

DUANG!

The more Hamr thought about it, the angrier he beca.

He slamd his hamr heavily onto the workpiece in front of him.

The strike instantly released a burst of golden light.

Then Hamr withdrew his hands and picked up an object.

A sly grin appeared on his face.

"Sengoku old man, your exclusive weapon is ready."

"The only question is whether or not you can handle it."

What lay before Hamr was a pile of photonic crystals, though they had not yet fully taken shape.

Setting aside his work, Hamr walked directly toward the Warhamr.

At the shoreline stood more than a dozen wooden cabins, the result of Lance and the others' labor over the past few days.

Large quantities of steel were piled nearby.

The Warhamr was anchored in the distance, while Garp's dog-headed patched-up ship slowly approached.

As for Garp himself, he was currently standing in front of one of the wooden cabins, hamr in hand, fixing a door.

"Vice Admiral Garp! Hurry up and fix that door!"

"I worked really hard on it! Didn't you see the little leopard pattern carved into it?!"

Beside him, Shirley was fuming with anger, clutching a pile of wooden planks while angrily scolding Garp.

Hamr's mouth twitched violently.

He didn't even need to think about it.

Garp had obviously "accidentally" ripped the cabin door off.

The nearby soldiers were trying hard not to laugh, while Garp wore a helpless expression.

"Little Shirley, your door just wasn't sturdy enough."

"I only touched it lightly and it broke apart."

That explanation only made Shirley angrier.

"Don't lie!"

"Who knocks on a door with their fist?!"

"I saw it clearly! Your fist is still covered in wood splinters! Don't try to deny it!"

That made Garp even more awkward.

The soldiers nearly burst out laughing.

"Yo, Garp, working as a door repairman now?"

"Not bad. Keep it up. I believe in you."

Hamr slowly walked behind Garp with a grin on his face.

"You bastard Hamr! Get over here and help fix this, or I won't give you your steel!"

"Mm, too late, Garp."

"Take a look over there."

Faced with Garp's threat, Hamr remained perfectly calm and gestured toward the shore.

Garp turned around and instantly froze speechless.

Because Bogard had already arranged for the soldiers to begin unloading the supplies.

His threat had been completely useless.

"Then you're helping fix the door anyway!"

A massive hand suddenly grabbed Hamr by the collar and dragged him in front of the door.

"Damn it! Old bastard, you're the one who broke it! Why should I help repair it?!"

"Don't care. Since this old man is fixing the door, you're fixing it too."

Hamr was speechless.

This was exactly why he hated Garp the most!

"By the way, old man Garp, why did Sengoku send you to deliver supplies?"

"Aren't you supposed to be chasing that bastard Roger?"

Garp's hand movents slowed slightly.

Then he gave his trademark foolish grin.

"That bastard Roger suddenly moved from the first half of the Grand Line into the second half."

"This old man happened to be heading to the New World to chase him."

"When I returned to Marineford for supplies, Sengoku told to conveniently bring your construction materials over."

"He said you were building a new branch here."

"I thought it sounded interesting, so I ca."

"Hamr, seriously, why bother building a branch?"

"If you wanted to co to the New World, you could've just gone to G-5."

Hamr's lips twitched.

'G-5?'

'What did that place even have?'

'Did it have wrought iron?'

'Did it have dwarves?'

'Don't joke around.'

"Alright, hurry up and fix the door."

"Once you unload the construction materials, go chase Roger already."

"As for why I'm building a branch, naturally I have my own plans."

"Even old man Sengoku and old man Kong agreed with , which proves my idea isn't wrong."

Hamr couldn't be bothered explaining it to Garp.

He, Hamr, intended to build a forging paradise.

How could tiny little G-5 possibly contain his ambitions?

Lance took charge of receiving the construction materials, and soon they were neatly stacked along the coast.

Under Garp's efforts, the small wooden door was also quickly repaired.

After finishing everything, Garp walked over to Hamr.

"Hamr, you've clashed with Roger several tis."

"Have you noticed anything strange about his recent behavior?"

The sudden question made Hamr frown slightly.

At this mont, Garp wore a serious expression, as though he had already guessed what Roger intended to do.

"To be honest, old man Garp, when I encountered Roger in the Sky Island, I realized his target seed to be the Poneglyphs."

The words "Poneglyphs" instantly plunged Garp into silence.

"So it really is like that…"

"That bastard… does he not realize what consequences this could bring?"

That sentence allowed Hamr to sense the unusual emotions Garp held toward Roger.

'Pirates and Marines.'

'Opponents and mortal enemies.'

'Who said they couldn't also beco friends?

'But Vice Admiral Garp, did you know what Roger would eventually do?'

'And what you yourself would eventually do?'

'Sigh.'

'Forget it.'

Hamr considered himself just an idle bystander.

Why bother worrying about so much?

Better to sweep the snow in front of his own door first.

"So then, Hamr, where do you think Roger will go first after entering the New World?"

Garp's gaze landed on Hamr, a smile appearing in his eyes.

"Tch. Haven't you already guessed it yourself, old man?"

"The location of the Poneglyphs isn't hard to investigate."

"Charlotte Linlin."

Also known as Big Mom.

An absolute monster.

"Exactly, hm?"

"What's that?"

Just as Garp was about to continue speaking, he suddenly looked up toward the sky, as though sothing existed within the clouds.

"Holy crap! Don't tell my luck is this terrible!"

"Oh… wait, maybe my luck is actually amazing."

"After all, Vice Admiral Garp is here!"

"That idiot practically ca here looking for death!"

"Hahahaha!"

Above the clouds, blue light flashed.

"Tch. This old man doesn't feel like fighting."

"They ca looking for you, so deal with it yourself."

"This old man hasn't even finished eating his donuts."

Garp rolled his eyes at Hamr rcilessly, then casually walked off to continue eating donuts, clearly having no intention of helping.

"What?! Vice Admiral Garp, are you serious?!"

"That's one of the monsters of the New World!"

"I'm just a weak little Vice Admiral! Aren't you afraid I'll die here?!"

"Careful, or old man Sengoku and old man Zephyr will beat you to death afterward!"

Faced with Hamr's furious shouting, Garp laughed loudly, swallowed an entire donut in one bite, and grinned mischievously at him.

Looking at Garp's expression, Hamr knew the old bastard had already decided to completely ignore him.

"Wororororo!!"

"So you're Hamr?"

"You're the one who sank the pirate crew under my command?"

"Since you dared lay hands on my n, you must already be prepared to fight , right?!"

A massive dragon body erged from the clouds.

It was an azure dragon.

The captain of the Beasts Pirates, Kaido of the Beasts!
