"HELLO, SIR!"
Oh, wow.
Sohee only gave an offhanded comnt saying that he wanted to et Kim Heedo’s friends and "play chaebol" with them.
I an, it’s amusing how they were able to track down Cha Jinha fast.
He didn’t expect Kim Heedo to take it seriously, though.
["They’ll skip class if I say you want to et them, Hyung."]
And Kim Heedo was right.
His friends really skipped class with just one phone call.
In just thirty minutes, three beautiful kids had already shown up at Sohee’s door.
"I’m Hong Sera from the Literature Departnt, sir," Hong Sera said, holding two boxes of pizza in one hand and a bottle of expensive red wine in the other. "Unfortunately, I t Heedo when we were in elentary school."
Pfft.
It was a funny introduction.
The pizza Hong Sera brought is Italian pizza, not the one I usually eat, but it slls so damn good. And that red wine looks fancy.
Sohee couldn’t also help but notice that Hong Sera was seriously pretty.
I can tell that she’s a Beta, but it would be easy to mistake her for an Oga because most Ogas are as beautiful as she is.
"I’m Yang Jaewon from the Business Administration Departnt, sir," the tall and lanky Alpha said, holding an obviously expensive basket of fruits. He had a "refreshing" face— the handso and bubbly type. "I had no choice but to be Heedo’s friend since our mothers are best friends. It won’t be an exaggeration to say that I raised Heedo."
Kim Heedo just scoffed but didn’t deny it.
Yep, those two are definitely childhood friends.
"I’m Kwon Gaon from the Business Administration Departnt, sir," the handso Alpha who was built like a teddy bear said. "It’s a pleasure to et you."
Oh, a normal introduction.
Moreover, Kwon Gaon also brought a normal housewarming gift that most "commoner" Koreans were familiar with: rolls of toilet paper and laundry detergent.
Sohee smiled at the three kids. "I’m Park Sohee from the Webtoon Animation Departnt. And, as you already know, I’m Kim Heedo’s contract husband."
"Hyung, those three are the sa age as ," Kim Heedo said. "Feel free to speak comfortably with them."
Hong Sera, Yang Jaewon, and Kwon Gaon all nodded politely.
Oh, these are good rich kids.
"Okay," Sohee said, smiling. "You can just call ’hyung’ and ’oppa’ then."
***
"SOHEE Oppa, Heedo said you want to play chaebol with us?"
After the introductions earlier, Sohee was now having pizza and red wine with Kim Heedo, Hong Sera, Yang Jaewon, and Kwon Gaon in the dining hall of his apartnt.
Fortunately, the table was a table for six.
"I heard from Kim Heedo that your team was able to track down the anonymous poster of the articles about ," Sohee said, amused. "And they did it in just a day."
"My family’s team is great, but I really don’t know how they did it," Hong Sera said cheerfully. "They’re more than just an intelligence unit, though. They also work with the PR Team to make sure that no scandal about our family would get leaked out to the dia. Or, worse, to the public."
"Oh, I see," Sohee said, nodding. "You know, this is how the chaebols in dramas are mostly portrayed. I guess there’s so truth in them, huh?"
"Heedo and Sera are the only two chaebols I know on a personal level, but the other chaebol kids I’ve t while hanging out with them are worse than how chaebols are portrayed in dramas, Hyung," Yang Jaewon said. "Now that you’re married to Heedo, you might et the kids I’m talking about. Be careful around them, Hyung. Most of them are bad Alphas, too."
"Alright, I’ll keep that in mind. Thank you."
"Don’t worry about that. I won’t let Sohee Hyung et those bastards," Kim Heedo assured them. "Sohee Hyung, I know you’re enjoying this "drama." But I believe you should confront the author of the bad articles. You have to clean your reputation."
"Is there a need for that?" Sohee asked. To be honest, he didn’t think the rumor about him was a big deal. "The fact that we’re married will spread like wildfire anyway."
After all, Kim Heedo was famous as a handso Dominant Alpha.
"Hyung, you said you want to have fun as a university student," Kim Heedo reminded Sohee of his original goal. "Don’t you think you’ll have more exciting days if you have friends? But if you let your social life die just because you can’t be bothered correcting the false rumor about you, then the kids in your departnt will just avoid you."
Hong Sera nodded eagerly. "Oppa, most people don’t care about the truth. It wouldn’t end with the author of the articles simply taking down the posts. They should post a public apology to you."
"Hey, don’t pressure Sohee Hyung," Yang Jaewon said. "Hyung is an adult. He can decide on his own."
Hmm.
To be fair, there wasn’t a reason why Sohee didn’t want to make a move.
He wanted to keep that "dark secret" deep in his heart.
However, Kim Heedo and his friends were being kind to him.
Hence, he couldn’t help but open up to the kids.
"The person who posted those bad articles about is my ex-boyfriend’s friend," Sohee said, pausing for a mont. "I think he hates because he’s in love with my ex-boyfriend, and my ex-boyfriend still cares about . He probably wants Ahn Yugae to find disgusting, so he posted those articles to humiliate — hoping that this issue would force to stop attending university."
"That’s horrible," Kwon Gaon, who barely spoke, said. "We need justice for you, Sohee Hyung."
Kim Heedo, Hong Sera, and Yang Jaewon all gasped out loud.
"What’s wrong?" Sohee asked, confused and curious. "What’s with that reaction?"
"Hyung, it’s not often Kwon Gaon shares his opinion," Kim Heedo said. "I think you should listen to him this once."
And that was how Sohee ended up in front of Cha Jinha’s apartnt five minutes later.
***
I CAN’T believe Cha Jinha and I live in the sa apartnt building.
Sohee ca alone because this was sothing he needed to do on his own.
Here goes nothing.
He pressed the doorbell, fully expecting Cha Jinha to open the door.
But soone else did.
Ahn Yugae, Sohee’s ex-boyfriend, looked surprised to see him. "Sohee-ya."
Oh.
Sohee was now tempted to call a backup.
I should have brought Kim Heedo with ...
