A self-created spell ca crashing down.
The entire Mirror Dinsion seed to tremble.
Space itself began to quake and shatter.
Countless streams of four-colored light directly filled the whole world.
The entire world seed to swell outward.
Everything within it was being lted and crushed by power infused with laws.
New York City's reflection inside the Mirror Dinsion was directly wiped out before that terrifying force.
Everything was reduced to a blank white expanse.
As for Dormammu, there was even less need to ntion him.
The dark power on his body
was stripped away bit by bit by that four-colored force.
His laws were crushed inch by inch.
Even his powerful soul began to collapse before that terrifying power.
It was like being subrged and drowned.
Before his soul had fully dispersed,
his will had already been shattered by the pain.
Thus, a generation's Space Lord, a powerful dinsional demon, was annihilated just like that.
His final miserable appearance
made even the Sorcerers and several mbers of the Avengers unable to bear watching.
The way they looked at Karl grew a little strange.
"Ahem."
"What kind of look is that?"
"It is not like I wanted this either. Dormammu was the one who insisted on taking it head-on."
Karl spread his hands helplessly.
Seeing that all of them were wearing expressions of disbelief, Karl could not help shaking his head.
"All right, are you going to keep standing there?"
"Did any of you notice where Thanos went?"
Karl's psychic power swept across the already badly damaged Mirror Dinsion.
However,
he found no trace of the Infinity Stones.
He knew his own power well.
Killing Dormammu was certainly possible.
But
destroying the Infinity Stones was a bit unrealistic.
So if Thanos had been killed directly,
then the Infinity Stones would definitely have been left behind.
But in reality,
the Infinity Stones were nowhere to be found.
That left only one possibility.
Hearing him say that,
the Sorcerers and the few Avengers mbers all shook their heads in unison.
That made Karl even more certain of his guess.
Thanos really had run away.
While Karl had been fighting Dormammu, he had taken his flagship and fled directly.
"That Thanos really is cunning and slippery."
"Dormammu is dead, yet Thanos is still alive. He really did run fast enough."
Karl could not help sighing.
"But that does not really matter."
"I doubt that guy will be coming back."
"At the very least, he will not co back before he recovers from his injuries."
Karl sneered inwardly.
Thanos was badly hurt.
After taking that hit from Dormammu, he would be out of commission for quite a while.
Let alone Thanos.
He might be an Eternal,
but his thods were too limited.
He was only physically strong, which was basically useless by itself.
Without the Infinity Stones, Thanos was just another Hulk, a big brute who could be toyed with.
However,
the Infinity Stones could not heal injuries.
There was no way his wounds would recover in a short ti.
Not to ntion
the power Dormammu had provided him definitely did not co without a price.
Those mysterious black markings had been ford from dark power and were extrely sinister.
They might even backfire on him.
All in all, Thanos was not soone they needed to worry about for the ti being.
"All right, this has nothing to do with us for now."
"Let us head back to Kamar-Taj first."
"As for the rest of you, go handle your own business."
Karl said this to the Sorcerers, then looked toward the few Avengers mbers.
After speaking, he gave them a polite nod.
"Wait."
Just as they were about to leave, Tony Stark spoke up and called out to Karl.
Karl stopped and asked,
"Do you need sothing?"
At first, Tony Stark was also shaken by his presence.
Only after quite a while did he murmur,
"Master Karl, would you consider working with ?"
"Working together? What could we possibly cooperate on?"
"I do not think there is anything a sorcerer like could cooperate with you on."
Karl spoke calmly.
"No, no, no, not cooperating with the Avengers. Cooperating with ."
Tony Stark pushed up his glasses as he spoke.
"What is the difference?" Karl asked in return.
"Of course there is a difference."
"They are official. I am private."
"I am very good at keeping secrets."
Tony Stark said.
"The key issue is that even if you say that, Mr. Stark, I still do not see any point of cooperation between us."
Karl replied calmly once again.
"Of course there is."
Tony Stark said in an overly familiar tone.
"You know, I am rich."
"I can provide you with a huge amount of resources to research magic."
"I can even get many things that you cannot buy on the market."
"I can provide all of it for free."
"I assu not every Sorcerer is as strong as you are, right?"
"They need the things I am talking about."
Tony Stark spoke with great seriousness.
He was extrely excited inside.
At last, he finally had a chance to establish contact with these Sorcerers.
As a scientist, Tony Stark's thirst for knowledge was extraordinarily strong.
Ever since the last ti he saw Karl make a move, he had never been able to stop thinking about it.
He had constantly wanted to study this magic.
Before, he had never had the chance.
Now he finally did.
So,
Tony Stark, who was usually extrely proud, now even seed a little humble.
"Master Karl, even Sorcerers cannot all just live in libraries, right?"
"You still need wealth."
"In fact, from what I understand, it takes enough wealth to support Sorcerers. Am I right?"
"I can provide all of that for you."
Tony Stark said very seriously.
Hearing Tony Stark say that,
Karl could not help sighing in admiration.
Tony Stark really was smart.
Sorcerers really did need a huge amount of wealth.
Not to ntion anything else.
For tens of thousands of Sorcerers, just food, clothing, daily living, and other expenses were already an astronomical figure.
If one Sorcerer cost ten thousand dollars a month, then for ten thousand Sorcerers, over the course of a year, that would amount to well over a billion U.S. dollars.
That was an astonishing number.
Even though the Sorcerers were very frugal, and so of them even worked jobs to support themselves, Kamar-Taj was not exactly wealthy.
During Avengers: Endga,
Doctor Strange and Master Wong, for all their status, had only a little over a thousand rubles on them.
That showed just how poor Kamar-Taj was.
Tony Stark's proposal
was extrely attractive.
Karl thought about it for a long ti, yet he could not co up with a reason to refuse.
Money really could stump even the greatest of heroes.
Under the constraints imposed by the Sorcerer Supre, trying to make money was not easy.
So,
Karl ultimately nodded.
Tony Stark was overjoyed.
