Now reading: Chapter 98: What Kind of Monster Is This Kid?! from Marvel: God-Tier Talent—Infinite Critical Strikes!, a Action novel by Zukooo.

The entire battlefield fell silent.

There was no other reason for it—this kid was simply too freakish.

With a single strike,

the army Thanos had brought was just gone?

Was he even human?

It was not only the sorcerers here who were shocked.

Even Thanos, aboard his flagship, was deeply shaken.

Looking at the densely packed corpses covering the ground, the expression on his face turned extrely grim.

This was an army they had consud vast resources to create!

A large amount of Dormammu's dark divine power had even been mixed into it.

Originally, he had thought it would at least cause so trouble for the people of Kamar-Taj.

But now it seed

it had been completely useless!

He had spent the essence of dozens of planets on this force.

And it had been wiped out in a single blow?

The sorcerers of Kamar-Taj truly were extraordinary.

Thanos's expression turned unreadable.

"Open the field. Send down."

Thanos gave the order.

Ebony Maw hurriedly manipulated the starship's field and sent Thanos down.

A gigantic beam of light appeared in the sky.

Thanos's figure slowly descended from above and landed on the ground.

"Thanos."

"You actually dare invade Kamar-Taj and gather an army to attack our sanctum. Are you courting death?"

Karl stepped forward and spoke.

His overwhelming aura made even Thanos frown.

"Courting death?"

"You think you have the ability to make that happen?"

Thanos replied expressionlessly.

"Whether I do or not, you'll know once you're down there."

Karl said only that.

Without another word,

he directly waved his hand.

A transparent ripple slashed toward Thanos.

This was naturally Karl's use of the Law of Space.

At the Skyfather level, one's application of laws was incredibly powerful.

For ordinary people, a re motion of the law was enough

to slice them clean in two.

Even a Pseudo–Skyfather-level powerhouse could not withstand such an attack.

He wanted to see just how Thanos intended to block it.

In the blink of an eye, the powerful fluctuation ford by the Law of Space had already reached Thanos.

Thanos truly was a fearso existence forged on the battlefield.

His senses were exceptionally sharp.

Before the ripple ford from the Law of Space had even reached him, Thanos had already detected it.

He swung the double-bladed sword in his hand and chopped straight forward.

Screech!

A sound rang out that made everyone's teeth ache.

It was like the groaning of so gigantic tal structure twisting and collapsing, and goosebumps rose all over the bodies of everyone present.

A trace of surprise appeared on Karl's face.

Thanos had actually blocked it.

What kind of tal was that blade made from?

It was one thing for it to split Captain Arica's shield, but it could even cleave apart the ripples ford by the Law of Space?

Interesting.

Still,

Karl had never intended to kill Thanos with a single strike.

If that had really worked, it would have ant he had underestimated a Pseudo–Skyfather-level powerhouse who had dominated the cosmos for ages.

This had only been a test.

"You've got so skill."

"But from here on out, I'm getting serious."

Karl let out a cold laugh.

Snap!

He snapped his fingers.

From all directions, powerful spatial ripples appeared.

They closed in on Thanos from every side.

Transparent waves even appeared in the air itself, carrying intense fluctuations.

Karl wanted to see how Thanos would deal with this.

The powerhouses of the Marvel world were, in truth, often very incomplete.

Take Thanos for example. Aside from his powerful body, he had almost no other abilities.

He was fine against enemies like Hulk, but when facing soone like Karl, he was at a severe disadvantage.

The razor-sharp aura coming from every direction

made the hair on Thanos's back stand on end.

He could clearly feel it.

This attack—

he could not block.

"So I have to use an Infinity Stone already, here of all places?"

"This sorcerer of Kamar-Taj is actually this strong."

A grave look flashed through Thanos's eyes.

But

he was never one to hesitate.

A purple light flashed from his hand, and violet radiance spread across his blade.

He slashed outward at his surroundings.

An overwhelming force erupted at once.

Those surging spatial ripples around him were all dissolved by Thanos in an instant.

Karl carefully examined Thanos and sensed the energy on him.

This kind of power was not sothing an ordinary move could possess.

"An Infinity Stone?"

"Interesting. You actually obtained an Infinity Stone ahead of ti?"

"How many have you collected?"

Karl asked with a smile.

There were six Infinity Stones in total.

Among them, the Ti Stone and the Mind Stone were on Earth. Not long ago, the Avengers had just seized them back from HYDRA.

The Ti Stone was in Kamar-Taj.

The Space Stone was in Loki's hands, while the Soul Stone was still on the planet Vormir.

What he did not know was

whether Thanos had obtained one stone, or two.

Karl considered this inwardly, while Thanos's eyelids twitched.

This Earth sorcerer not only had astonishing reflexes,

his knowledge was equally impressive.

He had actually identified at a glance that Thanos possessed an Infinity Stone?

This had originally been his trump card for dealing with Dormammu.

He had not expected to expose it here.

For the first ti, Thanos truly felt that sothing was going wrong.

It seed he had still underestimated the sorcerers of Kamar-Taj.

"You think I'd tell you?"

"The sorcerers of Kamar-Taj do have a good eye."

"Since you've already seen through it, there's no need for to keep hiding it."

A trace of caution flashed through Thanos's eyes, and even the expression on his face changed.

With a flash of light,

the Infinity Gauntlet appeared on his hand, set with a purple gem.

Powerful energy flowed through his body by way of the gauntlet.

"Looks like you've already obtained two Infinity Stones."

Karl said with a smile.

Thanos's gaze darkened, and his heart jolted.

How did this brat know that?

He had used the power of the Reality Stone to conceal the Reality Stone itself.

That was power on the level of laws—how could this kid possibly see through it?

But he did not deny it.

"Think whatever you want. To kill you, one stone is already enough."

Thanos's hoarse voice rang out.

But Karl's face broke into a radiant smile.

"I don't think so."

"With only one stone, why make such a fuss?"

"Perfect. This gives a chance to test exactly how powerful the Power Stone really is."

As he spoke,

Karl waved his hand.

A transparent blade appeared in his grasp.

The Vishanti's Rift-Cleaving Blade!

This was a spell he had learned from Kaecilius.

After comprehending the Law of Space, it had erupted with even greater power.

It could be said

that this was absolutely the sharpest spell in Karl's arsenal.

It could even cut through space itself.

Karl wanted to see whether an Infinity Stone could stop it.

Whoosh!

Karl's figure flashed.

He appeared directly above Thanos's head.

The transparent blade in his hand slashed straight downward.
