'I-Is Silk allright?' Adrain asked inside his mind as his body was tumbling through the rubble like a cannon ball.
The pain was imnse , but he didn't care. He needed to know if she was alright despite his rational mind giving him the answer.

'I need to- ' Adrian couldn't complete his thoughts as got punched mid air sending a crushing force into his body as his vision blanked out.
The System was doing everything in its power to keep Adrian alive. He was alive as his vital organs were being nded , but the pain was left for him to deal with.

Adrian's body smashed into a truck as the force was enough to send him bursting through the other side but during that split second a shadow tendril curled out from his body and quickly grasped a case that seed like it was important.
The case vanished as the System quickly pocketed into its inventory.

Adrian's body blinked as it vanished like it never existed to the ones watching it was like he just blinked out of existence.
The stream went crazy as the viewers couldn't understand what was happening, they were already stressed from seeing all the carnage and the suffering Noir went through.
But despite Noir missing, the stream was still running as it showed Abomination in all of his baleful glory.
The viewership of the Stream started to explode as it seed like the protection function was turned off.
Suddenly while everyone was worried about Abomination, the screen split to a different place as it showed a person so of them were pretty familiar with.

" S-Sir this… this level of damage is unprecedented, Harlem is practically a warzone. Hundreds of personal injured and Civilians- " A young officer's voice trembled in trepidation as he tried to reach out to his officer who was still as calm as ever not even showing an ounce of sympathy or regret.
Unlike the common populace he knew the thing calling itself Abomination was one of their own.
And this tragedy was directly tied to his superior who didn't show any reaction to the ensuing consequences of his actions.
" Collateral damage. Don't waste my ti with this useless drivel.." Ross cut the soldier off coldly, his words and body language showed how unbothered he was with the civilian casualties.
" B-But Sir! Blonsky is completely out of control and if the dia or press finds out he was one of ours - " The officer's voice tinged with desperation as he could still hear the sound of fires and carnage even if they were far away.
" He is not one of 'ours', you would do well to rember that and as long as everyone involved knows what's good for them then they'll keep what they saw and heard to their graves" Ross caught the young soldier by the collar as he growled at him their face only a few inches apart.
Ross's cold glare passed over the rest of his subordinates who lowered their eyes knowing what kind of man they were dealing with.
" All of you are soldiers and soldiers follow order…" Ross said in a calm tone as he walked over to watch the flas and fus rising from Harlem.
" This wasn't a total failure , atleast we proved that Superhumans could be manufactured and if they could be controlled then they could be deployed as well. Better the military do it then soone else…" Ross said seriously as his words made the soldiers understand the gravity of the situation.
"Hard tis create strong n and strong n make hard decisions. For the safety and betternt of our nation no amount of sacrifice is too much , all of us are soldiers that serve our nation and as soldiers, duty cos before morality and feelings…." Ross looks at his soldiers as he gave them a pep talk and hearing his words their expressions hardened as they clenched their fists.
Ross had managed to calm down his soldiers and raise their morale with his words but that couldn't be said about the hundreds of thousands that were watching him unknown to the power hungry general.
He didn't know that he had just implicated the governnt in the worst way possible.
A drone hovered near him as it captured every detail and every word , broad casting it to the masses who were outraged beyond words….

The atmosphere in the mansion was sombre as it was only for a split mont but most of them managed to grasp a glimpse of the person behind the mask and if the reactions of Kwanon and Rogue weren't obvious enough then all of them would be fools.
Both of them had tried to leave for Harlem despite knowing nothing could be achieved, but in the matter of feelings rationality takes a backseat.
Kwanon was knocked by Betsy before the dark haired woman could do anything to endanger herself.
While Jean made the hard decision to knock Rogue out.
To Kwanon watching Adrian get hurt like that was like having her heart ripped out of her chest as it was pain she couldn't fathom….

He wished to give the permission to go help at Harlem , but doing so ant defying the governnt and military and putting his students in danger….
