Victor was far from reaching this level.
Perhaps only Juggernaut could compare, but that brainless giant's situation seed different from the two people before him.
It was a kind of vigorous life force Magneto had never seen before.
Every inch of their muscles looked as if carved by knives and axes. When still, they were calm; when they moved, it would surely be earth-shattering.
Magneto believed that the opponent's explosive power, strength, and speed were extrely balanced. There would not be the slightest weakness in any area.
With such powerful bodies—and it wasn't just two?
It was an entire warband?
How many at this scale? Unknown.
Combined with the soldiers' near-fanatical will to face death without fear, the underground city, and the mutant child he had accidentally detected awakening powerful strength...
Everything felt like thick fog closing in from all sides.
Even a man like Magneto couldn't help but feel a trace of wariness rise in his heart.
These thoughts flashed through his mind in an instant.
Outwardly, however, Magneto remained calm. "Are you mutants?"
"That has nothing to do with you. The only thing you need to know right now is how you should apologize to my soldiers."
Reacher's remained expressionless, yet his body was like a volcano on the verge of erupting, with energy stirring restlessly inside.
A terrifying and surging aura slowly spread from his body.
For a mont, the entire old theater seed to distort beneath the pressure.
Even the lighting equipnt flickered unstably under the influence.
Mystique's breathing beca difficult, and her expression darkened.
But she trusted Magneto.
Trusted Erik, who was both her friend and her leader.
"Anger is not a ntality a leader should possess, child. If we fight here, aren't you afraid your soldiers will be caught in it?"
Magneto's voice also turned cold.
He did not fear war.
But he did not fight aningless wars, especially against people with such mysterious origins.
So he changed his approach, hoping Reacher would calm down.
"My soldiers are not afraid of sacrifice."
Reacher remained unmoved.
"Especially if it ans trading their lives for yours."
"And if your eyesight hasn't failed from old age, Magneto…"
"Take another look."
Magneto abruptly turned his head.
His pupils contracted instantly, shock filling his heart.
Not just him—even Mystique wore the sa expression.
Because neither of them had noticed that all around the old theater stage, along the second-floor balconies, and on the stairways against the walls, figures had already appeared.
Only two colors could be seen.
Black and red trench coats.
Uniform attire.
So stood upright and still. Others crouched on the balcony railings with one leg lowered, staring at the three of them as though looking at dead n.
There were roughly fifty people in total.
But that alone was not what made Magneto's heart tremble.
What truly horrified him was what he sensed through their life magnetic fields.
Every single person here possessed a life force no weaker than Reacher's.
And their positioning was extrely deliberate.
Every possible escape route for Magneto and Mystique had already been sealed off.
All except one.
The large ventilation shaft tunnel Magneto himself had broken open earlier.
Even soone with Magneto's composure could no longer hide his reaction.
His expression visibly shifted.
He turned back toward Reacher, disbelief written across his face.
"You people…"
This big man truly hadn't been lying. There truly was an entire warband.
And they had deployed fifty mbers.
n and won, all of them very young.
What did this signify?
It ant that this so-called warband likely had far more mbers than this. Exactly how many, Magneto could not determine.
Should he fight?
Magneto's mind raced at high speed. At this mont, he realized the situation had turned unfavorable for him.
If it had been only Reacher and the other man, Magneto could still have handled it calmly.
But with fifty people at this level, no matter how strong he was, he could not guarantee he could defeat or kill them all.
Especially with Raven and Victor as two burdens by his side.
Magneto's mood grew very heavy.
Not just Magneto—even the usually unruly Sabretooth, after recovering from his snapped neck through his powerful regenerative ability, imdiately beca extrely obedient upon seeing the situation.
His codena was Sabretooth.
He possessed beast-like strength, extre regeneration, heightened sll and senses.
But his greatest asset was his animal instinct.
And his instincts were screaming at him to behave.
If he didn't, he would die—the kind even his regenerative ability couldn't save him from.
After all, while it was difficult to kill him, that didn't an he couldn't die. There were simply too many ways to make him die.
Reacher was a soldier by nature. He had never liked wasting ti, nor would he give the old man before him any chance to think. He stamped down hard with his right foot.
Boom!!
Terrifying force drove straight through Sabretooth's chest. Victor vomited a large mouthful of blood as the entire stage shook violently and was forcibly pressed down, caving in.
Amid the tremors, Reacher's low, deep voice rang out.
"Tell ."
"What price are you willing to pay to extinguish the humiliation and harm you brought upon my soldiers?"
"Magneto."
TReacher stomp caused the soldiers from the other two warbands to spring into action.
Aside from the warband soldiers encircling the stage, the rest walked over to the trapped ordinary soldiers. Right in front of Magneto, they each picked up one soldier and began carrying them out of the old theater.
Faced with Reacher'scoercion, Magneto narrowed his eyes. "Who do you think you're talking to?"
Buzz!!
Invisible magnetic field energy slowly spread outward.
But the instant Magneto moved, Bucky, Roscoe, Neagley, and the other soldiers simultaneously stepped onto the stage.
Boom!!
They unleashed their auras without the slightest restraint.
The combined montum of twenty to thirty warband soldiers rged together, completely enveloping the not-very-large stage.
The surging pressure made it feel as if Magneto and Mystique had been thrown into the heart of a violent storm.
The air itself seed to solidify under the overwhelming force.
If Magneto had not constructed a magnetic field barrier to protect himself and Mystique, she definitely would not have survived.
Of course, Sabretooth was the most unfortunate.
He was now trembling all over. His internal organs, bones, and muscles were constantly being torn apart by this aura, blood flowing freely. Even his eyes, nostrils, and ears were bleeding.
If it weren't for his extrely powerful regenerative ability, he would have been the first to die.
Aura was a vague and mysterious concept.
Ordinary people could also possess aura, but it was usually formless and intangible—for example, the dignity of a superior or the habitual indifference to life that a butcher who had slaughtered animals for decades naturally carried.
These were all forms of aura.
Ordinary people found it difficult to turn aura into a weapon.
Reacher and the others were different.
Through day-after-day training, with physical strength reaching seventy to eighty tons, they had tempered not only their bodies but also their wills.
By practicing the Six Powers—a body technique that surpassed human limits—they had achieved an astonishing degree of control over their bodily strength.
With all these accumulations, they had long since learned to weaponize their aura.
It had nearly beco instinct.
The thod was crude, but highly effective.
At the very least, Magneto's heart sank deeper and deeper. His show of strength had only been t with an even firr and more resolute attitude from the other side.
