Jennifer was sent flying backward with a shrill roar, tearing through layers of thick mist.

But after being blasted nearly a thousand ters away, she finally managed to stop herself.

Using her powerful telekinetic force, she forcibly stabilized her body and hovered about a hundred ters above the town.

The violent friction from her high-speed flight had nearly burned away what little clothing she had left.

But now, her once alluring and voluptuous body had beco sothing far more grotesque.

Her skin had turned a pale gray-white, while fine gray-black veins spread rapidly across her body like tangled threads, covering her flesh until she radiated a strange, eerie kind of beauty—sothing both seductive and horrifying.

Just as she stabilized herself, Jennifer looked up, and her vision was imdiately t with a dazzling flash of gold.

Boom!!

Another terrifying light-speed kick slamd directly into Jennifer's cheek.

Her entire body was instantly wrapped in brilliant golden light, like a teor trailing a long golden tail as she plumted violently toward the ground.

With an earth-shaking roar, dust and debris exploded into the sky, while devastating shockwaves swept outward in all directions.

Buildings in the surrounding area collapsed in large swaths, and a crater over a hundred ters wide was blasted into existence.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

From within the rising dust cloud, twisted steel pipes and shattered stones suddenly shot into the sky like a violent storm, rushing toward Matthew from every direction.

The overwhelming attack completely covered him.

But in the next instant, Matthew's body burst into dazzling golden light.

He dissolved into countless golden particles, scattering like stars before reappearing at unbelievable speed atop one of the few buildings nearby that still remained intact.

The endless particles of light gathered once more, reforming into Matthew's figure as he stood calmly on the rooftop.

He looked down at the dust cloud ahead.

For a long mont, there was no movent below.

Then suddenly—

a steel pipe shot toward the back of his head from behind.

Matthew rely tilted his head slightly to the left, dodging it by a hair's breadth.

The steel pipe shot straight forward into the dust cloud—

and was caught firmly by a pale hand.

Jennifer slowly floated out of the smoke, holding the steel pipe in one hand.

She still retained that sa twisted appearance, but now the black veins had spread so thoroughly that her originally gray skin had nearly turned pitch black.

She rolled her neck, bones cracking softly, then looked at Matthew and revealed a savage smile.

"I told you—"

Boom!!

Before she could finish speaking, Matthew had already appeared again and kicked her straight back into the massive crater.

Without pausing, his body exploded into golden particles once more and shot into the sky.

High above, Matthew crossed his arms before him as vast golden energy rapidly condensed between his palms.

A horizontal beam of golden light flashed brilliantly.

And in the next second—

countless golden light bullets filled with terrifying destructive power poured down like a storm toward the earth below.

Yasakani no Magatama!!

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!!

The endless barrage of light bombs rained down upon the ground, and explosions erupted one after another without pause.

Violent flas engulfed everything below as the earth was bombarded rcilessly.

The shockwaves spread outward like raging tidal waves.

The entire town trembled violently.

The terrifying force swept through everything in its path—

buildings, billboards, vehicles, streetlights—

everything was uprooted, crushed, and destroyed beneath the overwhelming bombardnt.

Under bombardnt on this scale, the explosions were sohow confined to a radius of less than three hundred ters.

The destructive force was terrifying, but even more terrifying was the precision. Every blast was controlled with absolute accuracy, ensuring that Jennifer remained trapped within the center of it all, forced to endure the full saturation bombardnt of the Glint-Glint Fruit's power.

The deafening roar echoed through the entire town, so violent that even the strange fog shrouding Devil's Kettle was pushed back by the shockwaves.

A thousand ters away, inside the large two-story supermarket where the townspeople had gathered, many people could no longer stay inside and rushed out.

They felt the violent trembling of the ground beneath their feet and stared at the endless firelight and thunderous explosions in the distance, each of them utterly dumbfounded.

"Oh… my… God…"

"Was that done by that guy just now?"

"Is he so kind of ssenger sent by God?"

"He's fighting that damned man-eating monster…"

The raging wind swept across the streets, and with it, it stirred the hearts of everyone present.

The high-density energy explosions continued without pause, and the surrounding city blocks were nearly reduced to rubble.

The scale of the property damage was unimaginable, but Matthew didn't spare it a single thought.

Yasakani no Magatama was originally a wide-area attack—an overwhelming technique that manipulated and released countless high-density light bullets. Though it was classified as a large-scale attack, when paired with Observation Haki, its precision beca terrifyingly exact.

And every single one of those light bullets carried enough explosive power to easily destroy an entire building.

During the brief battle earlier, attacks like his light-speed kicks and Armant Haki had made Matthew realize sothing clearly—those thods could injure the demon, but they were still not enough to truly kill it.

That demon likely hadn't possessed this body for very long, and its strength itself wasn't particularly overwhelming.

But its body was abnormal.

Its defense was absurdly high, and its regenerative ability was even more outrageous. Even fatal injuries could be restored to perfection within re breaths.

Still, during those previous exchanges, Matthew had sharply noticed sothing important.

The creature seed to despise—no, fear—the power of his Glint-Glint Fruit.

That made sense.

After all, the Glint-Glint Fruit granted control over light itself, turning its user into a "Light Human." Light possessing a natural suppressive effect against demons wasn't strange at all.

So Matthew made the simplest decision.

If precision strikes weren't enough, then he would simply drown the demon in destruction.

A complete saturation bombardnt.

The carpet-like explosions made escape impossible. Under the endless impact of concentrated energy blasts, Jennifer's body was quickly blown apart, reduced completely to dust.

Through Observation Haki, Matthew clearly sensed it.

That dark, evil presence… had vanished.

At that mont, instinctively, a stream of information entered his mind.

When a demon was killed, its soul would be absorbed by the Devil Fruit Encyclopedia.

Within the illustrated catalog, so of the fruits that had once remained gray and lifeless were now beginning to regain color.

Most of the restored fruits were ordinary ones, and among them was the very fruit Matthew wanted most—the Paracia-type mo-mo Fruit.

As for the truly rare ones—the Mythical Zoans, Logias, and the highest-tier Paracia fruits—they remained dull gray, still impossible to materialize.

Clearly, the soul power of this demon had not been enough to manifest those top-tier fruits.

But even so, Matthew had achieved exactly what he ca for. His mood imdiately improved.

He glanced downward.

As he withdrew his attack, the smoke and dust slowly began to clear, revealing a massive crater nearly eight hundred ters wide.

The entire pit was scorched black, with streams of molten lava still flowing across the ground. Thin wisps of smoke curled upward, carrying an overwhelmingly sharp, burnt stench.

Matthew lifted his head and looked toward the sky.

The thick fog that had blanketed the town was gradually dispersing along with the demon's death.

Then his gaze shifted toward another direction.

There, he sensed sothing familiar.

The exact sa kind of aura as that demon.

Only… much weaker.

So weak that if his Observation Haki hadn't reached its current level, he never would have noticed it at all.

"Another demon?"

A faint glint passed through Matthew's eyes.

Golden light began to shimr around his body.

In the next instant, he shot forward like a beam of light, streaking toward that empty corner of town, disappearing into the horizon almost as quickly as he had appeared.
