The Arc Reactor, struck by Jason's energy ball, unleashed a ring-shaped shockwave.

The shockwave neutralized the ball's energy, with excess force leveling everything nearby.

BOOM!

The explosion wrecked the reactor's control console and damaged critical components.

The reactor began an irreversible chain reaction.

Inside the transparent glass do, arm-thick lightning bolts raged, crackling wildly.

The electromagnetic hum grew louder, faster—the massive energy straining to break free.

The reactor's safety system kicked in, cutting the supply and channeling the near-critical energy upward along a preset path.

BOOM!

A pale blue beam pierced the night sky, accompanied by thunderous roars.

For a mont, miles around turned to daylight.

Onlookers peered out, blinded by the dazzling column.

Three seconds later, the beam vanished.

Without supply, the reactor lost power, going dark, save for faint sparks.

A hundred ters away, Jason hovered, hands over his ears, eyes wide with awe and shock.

The reactor's power was terrifying—his ears still rang.

If he'd been in that beam, he'd be vaporized.

Stark, not a bad firework, huh?

Jason smirked, eyeing a nearby production facility.

The system's rewards scaled with performance. Since Stark had no weapons to counter him, why not raze the whole campus?

He shot toward the admin building.

*

The reactor's explosion froze every guard. They stopped, staring at the core facility, dazed.

Too much had happened tonight; their minds couldn't keep up.

The security chief snapped to first, realizing he'd been played.

A diversion!

The terrorists were bait, blowing the admin building to draw attention while targeting the Arc Reactor.

He grabbed the radio. "Reactor's hit! Leave so for rescue, everyone else to the core facility!"

Hesitating, he gritted his teeth. "Deploy the big guns. Our enemy's more than just terrorists."

A guard protested, "Chief, assault vehicles need Mr. Stark's approval."

"Fuck Stark," The chief snapped. "His stinginess got our n killed. We're done here anyway. Follow my orders."

"Yes, sir!"

The guards scrambled.

A rooftop sniper spotted sothing odd.

His night-vision scope caught a humanoid glow—in the sky.

"Chief! Soone's flying!" He reported, alard.

"What?" The chief paused, then asked, "Tony Stark?"

"No!" The sniper shook his head. "Stark's suit doesn't glow like that. It's just a person!"

The chief's mind raced, a figure erging.

"Shit! It's Jason! Tonight's all the Joker Organization! Take him out!"

Jason's na stunned the guards.

Wasn't that monster in New York? Why L.A.?

Snipers snapped out of it, aiming at the glowing figure.

Bang!

A dozen 12.7mm special rounds hit Jason dead-on.

But the bullets lost all force on contact.

Jason caught one, inspecting it. "Is this a bullet? Any bigger, it's a cannon shell."

He tossed it, speeding toward the admin building.

"Chief! Bullets don't work! He's coming!" A sniper shouted.

The chief looked up as Jason flew closer, hovering 15 ters above.

Silence fell. Ti seed to stop.

Seeing the infamous villain in person, the guards' hearts nearly stopped, his presence crushing them like a mountain.

After seconds of shock, they reacted, shouting and firing.

"Shit! It's Jason!"

"Shoot!"

"Idiots! Bullets don't work! Use rockets!"

"Jason spotted! Choppers, move!"

"Tanks! Get them rolling!"

Chaos erupted as guards dove for cover, firing wildly.

Jason snorted.

He vanished from sight.

Next second, he appeared beside an armored vehicle.

The gunner, swiveling the grenade launcher for Jason, didn't see him close in.

"Watch out! He's below you!" Guards yelled.

The gunner looked down, locking eyes with Jason.

"My God!" He gasped, heart pounding.

He swung the launcher down and fired.

Thump! Thump!

Grenades shot out, missing Jason and exploding behind him.

Jason braced, channeling his energy into his right fist, absorbing the grenades' power.

His fist glowed pale blue.

Fully charged, he roared, slamming it into the vehicle.

BOOM!

The energy punched a 50cm hole through the armor.

Two guards inside were bisected, guts splattering the cabin.

The gunner, legs severed, scread horribly.

A low engine rumble approached.

Jason looked up—two main battle tanks rolled in.

Stopping hundreds of ters away, their turrets aid.

BOOM! BOOM!

Two 120mm shells scread toward him.

Jason stomped, cracking the ground, and leapt 15 ters up.

BOOM!

The shells hit the armored vehicle behind him, reducing it to scraps, silencing the screams.

Hovering, Jason sighed. "Using tank shells on a fast target? You guys are brain-dead."

Two more shells ca.

He dodged easily, diving toward a tank.

Landing on it, he grabbed the barrel, channeling all his energy.

Crack!

The barrel bent 90 degrees.

He repeated it on the second tank.

Guards returned, each shouldering Stark's special tracking rocket launchers.

Whoosh!

Rockets fired at Jason.

He smirked, taking to the air.

Oddly, the rockets didn't track him, instead slamming into the tanks.

"Motherfucker!" A tank observer cursed, watching the rockets.

BOOM!

Flas erupted as the tanks were hit, reduced to twisted wrecks, no survivors.

The guards stared, dumbfounded.

Where was the guidance system?

The Jason-killer weapon?

It was just a damn RPG!

Jason hovered, chuckling.

With Chloe's analysis and field tests, he'd cracked the tracking rockets' secret.

His high-speed aerial moves used to convert energy to heat, creating a fiery trail he thought was cool—but it let the rockets lock on.

Knowing the trick, he switched to wind energy.

Chopper blades roared. Two ard helicopters lifted off, pilots locking missiles on Jason.

He scoffed, shifting position with wind energy.

As expected, the missiles lost him, streaking past like dumb rounds.

The pilots froze, but before they could react, Jason closed in.

"Shit! Climb! Climb!" One yelled, yanking the stick.

The choppers surged upward.

Too slow. Against Jason's speed, they were practically still.

He caught up, forming a glowing orb in his right hand and firing it as a blue laser at a chopper's rotor.

Snap!

The rotor broke off, flying away.

Whirr…

The chopper hung for seconds, then plumted to the ground.
