And that kind of force, when it surged out of Heaven in swarms, carried a terrible montum that seed able to blot out the sky and shatter mountains.
There were just too many of them. Far too many. So many that, at a glance, the whole horizon was nothing but angels in flight.
So many that you could barely see anything else at all.
Drex Valen's eyes lit up.
The gap connecting the Heaven Dinsion to Earth had already opened. Now the Heaven Dinsion was his for the taking.
Then, from high above, a thunderous roar rolled across the sky.
It was the sound of the Vice Lord of Heaven, the Archangel Michael, calling upon his divine power to summon countless teors. They tore through endless space and ca crashing down toward Earth.
These heavenly fire-teors had once stood for the majesty of God.
In the biblical story, the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were utterly destroyed after invoking God's wrath, when the archangel sounded the trumpet of doom and summoned an endless rain of blazing teors.
And now, those teors of divine punishnt had appeared once more.
"Bad news, Director, it's a teor swarm!!!"
On S.H.I.E.L.D.'s side, along with nations around the world, alarms were blaring. The angels were actually able to summon a teor swarm as a weapon. It was beyond anything anyone had imagined.
Too bad Drex's golden angels felt no fear at all in the face of the teors' devastating impact.
They even charged straight into the storm, smashing or punching the teors apart head-on.
Then they went on slaughtering more angels.
At the sa ti, Drex made his move.
A towering godlike figure appeared out of nowhere, so massive it seed to stand against the sky itself. He reached into the void as though gripping two invisible gates and spread his arms apart.
The force of that motion shook all of Heaven.
He was tearing at the very spatial fabric of Heaven with pure physical strength.
No matter how people dressed Heaven up in beautiful language, no matter how much they imagined it as a flawless paradise, they could not hide its essence.
It was still just another dinsional pocket. Another alien space. No different in nature from the layers of Hell beneath it.
Almost instantly, cracks spread across Heaven in dense sheets.
These were not ordinary fissures in the ground. They were openings straight into the endless void itself.
And anything touched by those void cracks vanished in an instant, sucked directly into the abyss.
That was the true incarnation of infinite nothingness, a force capable of devouring all things. Even Heaven could not withstand it. Under the pressure of the void, it began to collapse and fracture piece by piece.
"God, it's a dinsional demon that can physically descend into reality!!!"
"That's impossible. Even the Almighty Lord can't do that!"
The angels stared in utter shock, their disbelief bordering on panic.
"That is... the god of destruction and ruin?"
Nick Fury looked up at the figure that had only partially erged, yet was already larger than the entire Earth. The giant god was wrapped in an indescribably deep black. Black armor, black body, and apart from the occasional glint leaking from his eyes, features, and other openings, even the flas burning around him were jet black.
He felt like an endless abyss that could swallow heaven and earth whole.
An existence like that should not have been in this world at all.
The mont he took shape, the entire universe seed to fall silent around him.
Countless forms of matter, even light and shadow, flowed toward him like rivers returning to the sea.
That made his body even larger, even darker, and at the sa ti the universe's rejection of him grew heavier as well.
Then the giant god threw a punch.
The result was a scene of sky and earth being torn apart.
Countless shards of light and sparks burst outward, raining devastation down on Heaven below.
Streaks of radiance slashed through palaces and the ground like blades of light, while scattered holy fire fell across the earth.
It ignited countless trees and buildings.
Add to that the feathers drifting through the sky and the void rifts spreading everywhere, and Heaven no longer looked anything like Heaven.
It looked like the ruins of the end of the world.
More than that, it looked like a hell in the process of being born. In fact, compared to Hell, this place was now more dangerous and more terrifying.
Because it was being destroyed.
Drex's black hole dinsion devoured the fragnts of Heaven he had torn apart at full capacity. Every piece it swallowed seed to bring with it the thrill of consuming millions of souls.
The light within the entire kingdom vanished in an instant, and everything before them fell completely into endless darkness.
Then, a point of light suddenly burst forth.
It was an impure color, a dim and yellowed radiance that carried the feel of finality, of decay, of the end of everything.
"Jehovah's backup plan?"
Drex sensed that the power behind that light was on a completely different level from the angels around it. It was very close to his own current single-universe-tier power.
No wonder Jehovah had destroyed so many religions and enjoyed Earth's faith and souls for so long. He was almost catching up to .
Drex ntally snorted.
That light had once been the first dawn of creation, but now its creator had twisted its nature completely, turning it into the twilight of destruction. Its only purpose now was to bring true doom to others.
The twilight that destroyed all things and ended everything condensed into a dark, withering beam of light, swallowing Drex's massive hand in an instant.
The shockwave from the collision ruthlessly erased everything it touched.
Palaces beca rubble.
The land turned barren.
Trees and flowers withered away.
Even the angels made of light were swallowed by that twilight and vanished completely.
Like lamps going out, their souls could not endure the erosion for even a mont. Their glow faded in an instant, then quietly died.
Drex raised a brow.
Those angels' souls were mine.
After shattering the Heaven Dinsion purely with physical force, Drex finally revealed the true might of the god of destruction and ruin, the most primal and most violent power in the universe.
Against that force, the twilight was as fragile as foam. It shattered instantly.
In that mont, Heaven, already plunged into endless darkness, suddenly erupted with brilliance like stars going supernova.
A sound shook the world, as if it were the first cry of the birth of the cosmos itself.
Heaven was torn in two like a painting split apart by an invisible blade, leaving only boundless darkness in its wake.
Countless void cracks spread across it, turning what had once been Heaven into a scene of utter fragntation.
It was already equal to destruction.
If no one repaired it, this dinsional space would eventually be swallowed by the void and disappear from history entirely.
"Heaven... lost."
