In Western occultism, there is a special concept: knowing a demon's true na grants power over it.

Many films use variations of this idea, including the version seen in Constantine.

Once the true na of an evil spirit is spoken, combined with unwavering faith and a command, the spirit can be expelled back to Hell.

In The Conjuring, the Warrens used Valak's true na to force it out of Maurice's body.

Even though Valak was one of Solomon's 72 Demon Gods, it still had to obey this rule.

However, there was one crucial condition: God had to truly exist in that world.

In this world, God's divine light had long since faded, and the Holy See had not received any oracle from the Lord for many years.

Countless demons had descended into the human realm. If not for the combined suppression efforts of sorcerers and various factions, Earth would have beco another Hell long ago.

Therefore...

After Luke called out Valak's true na, Valak was briefly terrified before quickly calming down.

"Hee hee hee... God is dead, and Hell shall rise!"

"You lapdogs of the Holy See, so what if you know my na? You still cannot defeat !"

The Nun let out a horrifying laugh. Though her mouth never moved, everyone could clearly hear the hoarse and arrogant voice echoing through the room.

Father Burke's expression changed drastically. "Shut up, you damned demon! Do not try to corrupt people's hearts! The Lord's seal still exists! Do not think you can taint us faithful servants of God!"

Despite Valak's arrogance, Father Burke understood the nature of such a Demon God.

If Valak were truly unrestricted and free to act however it wished, then it would never have been satisfied with rely killing a few nuns in a convent.

Everything within hundreds, even thousands, of miles would have beco a demon-infested wasteland.

The Nun clearly had no interest in Burke.

It glanced at him indifferently before shifting its attention back to Luke, or more specifically, the Holy Light gathered in Luke's hand.

"What a peculiar power. Although it resembles the power of that bastard, you cannot deceive . This Holy Light is nothing more than a cheap imitation."

"Is that so? Then why don't you test it yourself?"

Before the Nun could react, a voice suddenly ca from behind it, startling it into instantly turning around and opening its mouth.

"Aghhhh!!!"

Its mouth split open, revealing rows of shark-like teeth as it unleashed a terrifying shockwave, attempting to force Luke back.

But Luke's figure lted into the shadows.

When he appeared again, he was already standing behind the Nun.

At this point, it was hard to tell who the real evil spirit was anymore. This was utterly absurd.

The Nun flew into a rage and was just about to retaliate when the blazing radiance before it grew hotter and brighter.

What a massive sun.

That was the Nun's final thought before Luke drove the Holy Light directly into its head.

The endless torrent of Holy Light continuously purified the sinful body, slowly dissolving it amid Valak's furious roars.

"This is impossible!!!"

[Killed anomalous entity Demon King Valak's clone. Gained 1500 Anomaly Points]

[Reality Editor upgraded to Version 6.7. Current Anomaly Points: 100 / 5800]

Only 1500 Anomaly Points?

Luke was rather dissatisfied. That was it? And it dared call itself a Demon God?

Even one of phisto's clones was stronger than this thing.

"The evil spirit... died just like that?"

Irene spoke cautiously as the surroundings gradually fell silent.

"Only the clone died. Unless it left behind so other hidden thod, it shouldn't be able to descend to Earth again for the next few decades."

Luke shook his head. Maurice in this world had not been marked for possession.

He had also checked everyone else present. None of them showed any abnormalities.

The only remaining issue was the demon-sealing array at the center of the underground chamber.

Originally, the blood of Jesus had been suppressing this place, but during World War II, the convent had been bombed. One of the shells had struck the seal directly, damaging its integrity.

That was why a fragnt of Valak's power had managed to escape and possess the Nun, slaughtering the nuns here one after another.

Until every last one of them died tragically.

As for why the nuns had neither reported the situation nor used the blood of Jesus, only they themselves would know.

Most likely, it was simply because the plot required it.

"So? Isn't my Holy Light far more effective than sothing as vague as God?"

Luke could already sense Irene's faith wavering.

Father Burke clenched his fists, his expression dark. Yet he could do absolutely nothing.

He could only stand there helplessly, watching Luke openly steal away the Lord's believer right in front of him.

Although Irene was rely a novice nun, her potential was extraordinary. Otherwise, the Church would never have specifically assigned her to assist with this mission.

If Burke had known that Irene was a descendant of Saint Lucy, he definitely would not have remained as silent as he was now.

Irene nodded subconsciously. Although the thought of abandoning God made her uneasy, she technically was not yet an official nun.

Besides, Luke truly seed more like a divine ssenger than anyone else.

That was Holy Light capable of destroying a Demon God.

Luke extended his left hand.

After hesitating for a mont, Irene slowly reached out with her right hand.

The instant their hands touched, Holy Light surged from Luke's palm into Irene's body.

Irene felt her entire body beco wrapped in warmth, as though she were floating into the sky itself.

"Holy Light..."

[Conquered anomalous entity Irene. Gained 500 Anomaly Points. Current Anomaly Points: 600 / 5800]

Although it was only 500 Anomaly Points, that was not important.

The best part was stealing soone away right in front of another person.

"From today onward, you are my Saintess. You will serve , and only , forever."

Luke suddenly found the situation amusing. For a girl like Irene, who had been imrsed in Christianity for years, it would be difficult for her to completely abandon those habits overnight.
