Shaan was speechless when he saw the doppleshade’s stare, which was ready to devour him. Honestly, he did not expect a doppleshade to be in this carriage at all, given that this creature should have probably died from the shock of the power lines.
"Damn. B-but how is it possible?"
Robin Hood pointed toward one of the rear windows. [There. I think it ca through one of those broken windows, Shaan,] he said. [There weren’t any broken windows before, right?]
’Yes, what Robin Hood said seems to be correct.’
"Damn it. If that’s the case, we have no choice but to stop it." Shaan gripped both of his dual short swords tightly. "Robin Hood, we can’t let this creature get past this carriage. We can’t let it harm Nalira and Chelsie."
[Alright, Shaan. I got it.]
The Doppleshade leapt at Shaan and launched an attack of its own. Shaan quickly blocked the attack using both his dual shorts, but since their strength difference was significant, he fell off and his body slamd straight into the carriage door.
"Ugh, damn it!" Shaan slowly pushed himself back up. "Doppleshade’s power is too strong for ," he bit his lower lip, his face turning pale. "We need a way to stop this thing."
[Yes, I agree. But how? How can-]
’Tok!Tok!Tok’
"Shaan, is everything okay?" Chelsie asked, standing behind the carriage door. "Uhm... I heard a loud crash from back here. Is everything alright?"
[Shaan, it’s Chelsie. What do you think we should do?]
"We can’t let Chelsie or Nalira know about this," Shaan whispered. "I just don’t want everyone on the train to panic. Robin Hood, keep the Doppleshade busy while I talk to her. Hurry."
[Alright, Shaan]
"Shaan? Are you sure everything is alright?"
"Oh, yes, everything’s perfectly fine, Chelsie," Shaan replied. "It’s just... Robin Hood and I found a rat in this carriage. Right, Robin Hood?"
[Yes, yes,] Robin Hood said, trying to fend off all of Doppleshade’s attacks. [This rat is so big, making this place very ssy.]
"Uhm... are you sure you don’t need any help at all?" Chelsie slowly pulled open the carriage door. "I could just-
"Stop!"
Chelsie froze for a mont when she heard Shaan’s shout. "Uhmm... I-I’m sorry, Shaan. I didn’t an to push you or anything."
"No, no. Please don’t get the wrong idea." Shaan let out a long breath. "I’m the one who should apologize. I didn’t an to yell at you. It’s just... I think it’s better if you head back to the front carriage. Nalira might need your help."
"Alright, I suppose that makes sense," Chelsie said, slowly closing the carriage door. "I’ll head back to the front car. Just be careful," Chelsie said and walked back to the front carriage.
"Good, at least it’s much safer this way."
[Shaan, what now? How do we get rid of this thing?] Robin Hood tried to block all of the Doppleshade’s attacks. [Damn it, this creature won’t stop coming at !]
’It’s bad, it’s like this. What should....’
Suddenly, a plan sparked in Shaan’s mind. While Robin Hood was keeping the doppleshade busy, he noticed a pile of wooden boxes starting to lose their balance just a few steps behind the creature. Perhaps, if he could drop the boxes right on it, it could slow down its movent a bit and give Robin Hood a chance to use his skills.
"Alright then... ti to move."
Without hesitation, Shaan dashed forward and slashed through the bottom crate in the pile with all his strength. In just a few seconds, the pile of wooden boxes lost its balance and crashed down.

The heavy crash of the woodpile made it difficult for the Dopppleshade to move. Excellent, it appeared that Shaaan’s idea had worked once again, and he simply ordered Robin Hood to launch his arrow towards the creature, paralyzing it for a few monts.
"Good, now is our chance to leave this place."
Shaan quickly ran out of the carriage and carefully made his way across the connector to the front car.. But as Shaan walked, he suddenly heard the sound of boxes shattering from the back carriage, which ant that Robin Hood’s paralyzed effect had worn off.
[Dammit! Doppleshade’s physique seems to be quite strong as the paralyzed effect only lasted on his body for a few monts.] Robin Hood’s face began to stiffen. [We must get rid of this damn thing before it reaches the front carriage.]
"That’s right, but how?" Shaan furrowed his brow. "We have absolutely nothing to block the creature’s movent -"
[Shaan, what’s wrong?]
"The connector... the train connector."
[Wait, what? What are you talking about, Shaan?]
Without responding to Robin Hood, Shaan imdiately slashed the connector between the rear and front cars. In an instant, the link detached, leaving the rear carriage behind in the middle of the tracks.
[Wow, Shaan, your idea seems pretty brilliant.] Robin Hood smiled. [But, are you sure that damn thing won’t follow us?]
"Who said this was over?"
[Huh? What are you talking about, Shaan?] Robin Hood scratched his head. [I don’t get what’s going on in your mind.]
Shaan simply grinned at Robin Hood’s words. "Wait, and listen to my signal. If I shout now, then shoot your arrow towards the pile of explosive boxes left in the carriage."
[Okay, I get- ] Robin Hood silence for a mont. [Wait, are you seriously trying to blow up that carriage?]
"That’s the only way to kill this bloody thing. Just trust ."
[Okay, then.]
Just a few minutes after the carriage was detached, the figure of Doppleshade began smashing through the door of the rear car. Considering how strong Doppleshade was, it would only take him a short ti to break through that door.
[Oh, crap. Shaan, why haven’t you given the signal yet?] Robin Hood’s face turned pale, seeing the carriage door beginning to shatter. [The door will be destroyed, and surely that creature will imdiately chase this carriage.]
"Calm down, Robin Hood. Just a little more.... We just need a little more to Yes, now!"
Robin Hood released an arrow just as Doppleshade opened the door. The arrow whizzed past Doppleshade and smashed the explosive box right behind Doppleshade. Instantly, a powerful explosion blew up the train car in seconds and killed Doppleshade easily.
"Boom!"

"Oh my god... w-we did it." A look of pure joy lit up Shaan’s face. "I can’t believe we managed to kill it, Robin Hood."
[True, but I have so bad news for you.] Robin Hood pointed toward the chunks of concrete starting to fall from the tunnel ceiling. [We need to get out of here. Right now!]
