The three looked around for a short while enjoying the new input they were getting. It was a lot of change to what they knew about the ways that manas followed. Especially in the case of more violent and nearly chaotic manas.
They knew that chaotic mana was not inherently wrong. It was just not part of the balance that the world or elental planes maintained. However, it existed elsewhere in its own way and was even one way that the elental planes ford. Let alone aspects of the world at one point in ti.
Where they changed their thinking, was the ways that the violent form of a mana reacted and could cause changes.
So places like they had seen just before would be hard because the mana was not the very sa mana that already existed in an area. That was an important fact.
Even the sa kind of mana in a different state could react the very sa way that a mana encountering its opposite could react. aning that these two manas in different states could be considered different manas as a whole if they were not introduced properly.
Therefore, this wind mana here, in an area without radically different mana, would more easily encounter and ld with that area.
It was all about making sure the environnt was correct. About making sure that the manas in form and fashion were able to ld together seamlessly without causing a catastrophe.
That was where the origin race mbers currently bring all of these smaller elental planes in to the greater elental planes seed to be failing.
When the elental planes were at war with one another and chaos was a common factor, that didn’t matter much. There were entire species and races fighting one another constantly. It was just that way. So adding a little extra stress within elental planes was never an issue. Instead, it was just the way things were.
Now, when this happened, it caused entire races to be displaced. Put entire species at the brink of extinction. Or worse, it broke a peaceful balance that had been kept for generations.
All of this was now very clear within their minds and it raised a single question that none of them wished to speak out loud.
Were the origin beings pushing the elental apnea towards war? Or were they just foolishly pushing the elental planes toward advancent through strife and chaos?
These questions were one and the sa, both asked if this was intentional. Because it proved to be accidental, then the powerful race known for being well above any other and venturing in to the most dangerous of dangerous places were not actually that smart about what they did. Maybe they were not the all powerful beings that everyone assud.
Could that be true in any way?
Walker wanted to consider the questions he had more since he knew that there was much more he did not know about everything within and outside of the elental planes. But he could not take the ti sitting in consideration.
Firstly, he had little information to make a definitive choice and stance. It would be the sa as guessing and betting everything on those guesses.
He also knew that he should not choose to simply believe the outer perception he has right now. Mostly because he knew he too had a lot more room to grow in to being a mber of the origin race as well.
Once he took ti to better understand himself and grow, he could potentially see better answers or even see falsehood she had believed before. He knew very well that he didn’t have the wrong perception of the potential he and others had to grow and understand everything better in ti.
So ti was what he needed right now.
"We need to keep our focus." Su pushed Walker a little toward what she believed was the way toward the outer elental planes. This way they could return to their goals and they could consider reasons and the bigger pictures later. Rey nodded along with a small spark returning to her distant gaze. She didn’t want to hold off either, especially since she knew she couldn’t even hope to land a punch on a powerful origin race mber just yet.
"I can sense so opposing elental planes out there bleeding so manas. I would guess they are new or breaking their own seals."
This was a slightly newer sense that Walker had just caught on to seeing that he had gained skills to seal and transport elental planes. Since that was the case, he leaned in to those feelings.
This allowed him to notice the smallest of small fluctuations in unseen manas coming from these elents planes. Exactly what other beings might sense when they were hunting for elental planes to consu.
They had learned of such beings and monsters but now he could tell how they would co to be. It also ant that the elental planes as a whole might be a huge snack or endless feast to certain monsters if it was found.
The very thought made Walker feel chills along his spine. He didn’t know what was out there in the chaos, but he knew very well that all of it was a potential. Potential hunting ground. Potential nesting ground. Potential savior. Potential threat.
Potential everything.
Just the sort of thinking about all this was heavy on him and reminded him of the pressure he had just released.
"What ones do you think we should move toward? If there is a fire elental plane it might be easier science all of us have very high fire mana resistances." This was a smart call for Rey since she knew she could use her innate skills and instincts better to help Walker.
Su was also very resistant to fire since they had trained this sort of resistance a bit more than others. Especially since they had also trained their bodies against heat resistance to enjoy the ability to counter flas in all their aspects.
This wasn’t considering the natural resistances stacked on the training they did too.
As Walker focused and latched on to the feeling of a small strand of fire mana, he began to move himself and the other two. With his mind cleared, he felt the space mana and how it was not as secure. Like all the different manas and the chaotic mana well beyond this area had stretched it. Made it easier to allow for sealed elental planes to rest.
It was more enlightening with his newfound knowledge about space mana, but he also could feel where space mana thickened and he could isolate the smaller fire elental plane.
Before long, the scene of a glowing ember appeared. It ca to their realization that this was not just a fire elental plane, it was a very large orb of magma. Like a round orb pool of moving magma that remained hot and bled out pure fire mana. It wasn’t perfectly mixed, but that was what caused the flow. It would have fit perfectly within the border of an earth and fire elental plane.
The small forms of what appeared to be drifting plants with sharp earthen roots caught their eyes and the even clearer image of runes all around the elental plane made it clear it was in fact sealed. However, it was sealed using fire and earth mana runes aning that it sealed itself.
Soone had to have controlled it and made the seal, but it would remain as it was fueled by its own mana. Therefore, this elental plane was sealing itself until a change happened within.
The change could be a perfect mixing of earth and fire mana. Or it could be the growth of sothing more within. Regardless, Walker felt a sense that the plane was old and it had been sealed for a very long ti while sitting here. So long that his instincts told him it was most likely just ignored and left alone.
While he couldn’t isolate why he felt this, he just reached out a hand and felt the runes shifting. He was learning that the sealing was different at higher levels of understanding. That the skill could advance along with the knowledge taken in and how soone understood mana as a whole.
Even more, he understood the leaking of mana as because of the thod used to seal this small elental plane. It prevented explosive outbursts of mana but didn’t stop it all.
"The mana inside is dense and hard to manipulate. But the runes are keeping it in this form. I think the plane is bigger than it showed because it was already forcefully condensed. But even with that, there are things alive that we can see." Walker started to read appraisals from the herbs he saw floating. Both Su and Rey listened carefully.
