"Do you two have business with us?"
Li Zheng lay on Mudala's back. Her broad-shouldered form gave him a strange sense of security.
The two stood motionless, not responding.
[Warning: No life signs detected from them.]
Prelis' Eye suddenly prompted, leaving Li Zheng montarily stunned. No life signs?
Robots?
"My lord, I detect a repugnant scent from them," Mudala said solemnly. "It resembles what my people once spoke of—the Ailonte Race."
Ailonte Race?
What kind of race is that?
Were they replaced by robots like the Kron Race?
"The Ailonte Race is a very peculiar race on the Wilderness, though I've never seen them in person. Rumor has it their life forms differ from conventional organisms—they have no physical bodies and lack emotions, prioritizing interests above all else; a truly cold-blooded race," Mudala explained.
"The Destruction Race despises them because the Ailonte Race surpasses us in destruction. We rely enjoy destroying beautiful things, while they destroy absolutely everything, provided it is profitable."
A race that would destroy everything for profit?
Why would the Terminal keep them?
"You ntioned they have no emotions?" Li Zheng asked.
"Indeed." Mudala nodded, cautiously eyeing the others without relaxing. "However, the Ailonte Race is few in number and reproduces with difficulty, making them unwelco on the Wilderness. After years of battles, they are rarely seen, yet here in the Seventh Sin Domain, we've encountered two simultaneously."
"Surviving in such difficult conditions must an their strength is extraordinary." Li Zheng squinted. "You likely aren't their match."
"I can hold them off for a while," Mudala set Li Zheng down, handing him to Mirel. "My lord and lady can take advantage of this ti to retreat to the Golden Light Zone, where it'll be safe."
"You'll hold them off?"
Li Zheng chuckled. "There's no need."
He raised a hand, took out a porcelain bottle, pulled out the red silk stopper, and released a fragrance of dicine. "I planned to use it sparingly—each one used is one less, but it seems that's not an option now."
Nourishing Yuan Pill!
An elixir that can rapidly restore all conditions!
Especially stamina!
And Li Zheng happened to be severely exhausted!
He poured out a Nourishing Yuan Pill and swallowed it. The elixir dissolved inside, sending warmth through his limbs and rejuvenating his dried-up body, generating trendous stamina.
Mudala was astonished. "My lord, you..."
Li Zheng smirked. "Don't overthink it; not consuming this earlier was by no ans precaution against you."
The more he said such things, the more precautionary they seed.
Mudala understood, her eyes flashing with disappointnt, concealed by her Concealing Clothing.
The lord certainly doesn't trust her.
"Their biggest mistake was failing to seize the opportunity for a swift strike to kill us earlier." Li Zheng stowed the bottle, drew the Black Dragon Spear, energized by a readiness to unleash it.
"My lord!" Mudala volunteered. "To be safe, I request to fight alongside you!"
From the two Ailonte, she felt overwhelmingly oppressive auras; each was far stronger than her.
Li Zheng paid her no heed, carrying the Black Dragon Spear forward calmly. "Since you wish to prove your loyalty, I'll give you the chance. Follow my lead."
"Thank you, my lord!"
Mudala bowed slightly, her fighting spirit growing.
Li Zheng advanced with the spear, "If you two still don't clear the way, don't bla for being rciless."
The two Ailonte at last responded. "You can try."
It was a very standard translator accent.
"Why do people always seek death?" Li Zheng shook his head with a sigh, then his figure flashed, moving more than ten ters ahead, repeatedly blinking until he was in front of the two Ailonte.
"Take this!"
The Black Dragon Spear brought a surge of heat, sweeping towards them, then a fierce fla erupted, incinerating so hotly that the ground stones split open in an instant!
Whoosh~
A hollow sound as the Black Dragon Spear passed without hindrance through the Ailonte, igniting their Concealing Clothing into human-shaped flas.
[Watch out!]
Two blood-red characters appeared in Li Zheng's vision, followed by lightning from left and right, targeting his eyes.
"How is this possible?!"
Underneath those empty suits were supposedly nothing, where did these attacks co from?
No ti to think, Li Zheng imdiately created a Mirror Image to dodge the assault.
"Be careful, my lord, Ailonte lacks flesh and blood, their life forms are special—ordinary attacks don't work!" Mudala circled to the side, reminding, "Find their weakness and attack it effectively!"
No flesh and blood.
Does this an not even bones?
How did they support the Concealing Clothing?
Li Zheng turned to look, the clothing reduced to ashes by flas, revealing the true Ailonte beneath.
"What the hell is this?"
Underneath the attire, although there were human shapes, they consisted of chaotic light beams resembling disrupted electronic screens, flickering and jumping disorientingly.
From the "head" region of one beam floated a translator, which emitted the voice prior.
"Old Pule, investigate!"
Li Zheng was seeing such lifeforms for the first ti, relying on Old Pule to uncover their weaknesses.
[Now you rember , Prelis' Eye? Just wait!]
Full of resentnts, Prelis' Eye—suppressed earlier by Li Zheng with Spiritual Power—seized the chance to retort.
However, restrained compared to before, it avoided overly harsh language.
[Scanning...]
[Scan successful!]
[Ailonte Race: Na sourced from Destruction Race "Mudala" is uncertain, their life form unique, seemingly composed of light yet lacking its usual physical traits.]
Li Zheng swiftly read—indeed.
The two Ailonte, chaotic light bodies not touching the ground, portrayed neither reflection nor physical properties typical of light.
In essence.
They neither illuminated nor left shadows nearby.
[These beams originate from a nano-sized core within, shattering it annihilates them completely!]
