The first ti in my life to be published, I feel extrely uneasy.
Attentive readers may have noticed that the updates these past two days have been increasing each day.
Yesterday it was six thousand, and today the two Chapters reached eight thousand.
But these were all written in one go, mainly to thank the friends who rewarded and supported .

It’s quite embarrassing,
At first, it was because I felt unwell before New Year’s, went to the hospital to check, and good heavens... a lifelong illness...
At that ti, I was dumbfounded!
The doctor suggested hospitalization. I delayed for a long ti before I called ho.
I felt especially useless at that ti, struggling in society for more than ten years, achieving nothing, and not having any savings...
Also thought I was still young, and to have a bit more spending money each month, I didn’t even pay for health insurance.
Geez! Thinking about it now, really foolish.
In the end, I paid for the hospitalization out of my own pocket, spending over eight thousand... very close to my current subscriber count...
If I had health insurance, this hospitalization would only cost about two thousand, sigh!
The deposit for the hospital fees was borrowed by my dad from others...
When I heard my dad talking about raising money over the phone, I really wanted to cry.

Then, after scanning a few, I found that most had mysterious world backgrounds, none with sci-fi elents...
So I resolutely wrote a sci-fi background, internally submitted it to the editor...
Got approval in three hours!
I thought: It’s settled, I can at least get the subsidy for three months! Enough to buy three months of dicine!
Then I blindly started writing, at the ti not even considering that this book could have such decent results, so there are many bugs and the characters weren’t managed, just wrote whatever ca to mind.
After getting the first recomndation spot, was suppressed by two lv5 veteran authors on the sa day, thinking: Surely, this book is going to fail like the others!
Unexpectedly... the next day I surpassed them... and by a great margin!
At this point, I was truly panicked...
Whoa, what the heck, my settings are nowhere near complete, how am I supposed to write this?
Then day by day, I started filling in the settings, started patching the earlier Chapters, and remained first on the concurrent recomndation spots...
Hahaha, thinking about it, it’s quite interesting. When the results weren’t good, I wasn’t nervous, but after the performance improved, I beca really panicked instead.
Then, of course, the first recomndation spot moved up, started the second one... still first... third one... still first... now the fourth one... still first.
However, it doesn’t really matter, there’s no hope for the next Saturday’s pick.
Coincidentally the editor asked today, should we publish?
I thought: there’s no hope in the next major pick, what am I waiting for?
In a mont of heat... I said: Go ahead!

Hmm, let’s talk about tomorrow’s update schedule...
For now... two updates... and the word count definitely won’t match today’s.
However, readers comparing the update word count must have noticed that ever since the new book period started, my daily updates have more words than most concurrent authors.
Sotis when in a good state, five thousand, six thousand! Seven thousand!
It’s happened before.
But I also have a job, a twelve-hour work schedule, writing starts only after getting off work at ten every night, four hours to grind out a single Chapter, and sotis if dissatisfied, have to delete and rewrite it!
If it doesn’t work once, then twice, if twice doesn’t work, then three tis!
There was a Chapter before where I wanted to write in the popular weak-at-strong-eat direction, but after several revisions, scrapped over four thousand words, changed it to the current writing style.
I know most readers prefer decisive, single-minded protagonists.
But, those protagonists start with hundreds of thousands, do they need soone like ?
Li Zheng in this book is set as a small nobody, an ordinary character.
When he’s in the Water area channel, he likes to lurk and joke with others, just like a silly netizen.
He’s just a silly guy, an ordinary person.
Even with a cheat, still an ordinary person.
I only know how to write an ordinary person...
After all, I am just an ordinary person...
