"Since you’ve been assigned to this area, don’t bla for being rciless. You’ve opposed ti and ti again on the world channel. I’ve given you face."
The light curtain dissipated, and Li Zheng looked at the sowhat familiar scene in front of him, feeling a bit dazed for a mont.
A bar restroom?
This seems to be the room that can lead to Luo Aiman’s black market shop, and the player here now is Phoenix Mountain.
Carrying a blood-red lantern, passing by the entrance of the cat café.
Phoenix Mountain sat at a yellow egg-shaped table, with the white cat squatting on his lap, focused on crafting a pocket watch, his back to the door.
"The only door I can go through in this room is the one opening downwards on the butcher’s counter. Unfortunately, I don’t know if I can withstand the impact of the fall with my current physique."
Without disturbing him, Li Zheng found the butcher shop and swiped the card to enter.
When Li Zheng walked past the entrance, Phoenix Mountain seed to sense sothing, turned to glance, and only saw the lingering blood-red light.
"Li Zheng? This light... equipnt obtained from Lin Fan? Judging by its murderous aura, is he going to kill soone?
Hmm, this equipnt can supposedly increase others’ exploration tis, quite interesting."
He got up, went to the door, opened a crack, saw it was Li Zheng’s back, and then went back to sit down.
"What a sha, can’t join the excitent, it’s frustrating."
...
The light curtain dissipated again, and Li Zheng looked up. This was a room with snow falling, resembling a snowy mountain environnt.
Strangely enough, the room Li Zheng entered from the butcher shop clearly had a door that opened downwards.
But when Li Zheng jumped in and passed through the light curtain, he landed directly on the ground.
The door was behind him.
In the center of the room, on the snowy ground, stood a capsule residence, situated here.
[Capsule Residence, Player: 0000879 Chu Xiao]
At this mont, Chu Xiao might have sensed soone coming, so he opened the door of the capsule residence to look outside.
Seeing Li Zheng with the blood-red lantern, he was slightly stunned, then nodded at Li Zheng before closing the door.
Being one of the trio that once pursued Lin Fan, it’s not surprising he could guess the function of the item in Li Zheng’s hand.
"Didn’t stop ?"
"Looks like he has no exploration attempts left, better safe than sorry?"
Li Zheng did not go forward to disturb him. He found a door in the room, swiped the card, and entered directly.
From the beginning, he tried the effect of the lantern.
When unard, the hints from Prelis’ Eye were still quite normal.
However, after picking up the lantern, all doors in the room would turn into "A player is behind this door" prompts.
At night, the third room.
Since childhood, when he first learned swordsmanship, his father often warned him that swordsmanship needs constant practice to maintain its peak state.
Therefore, whenever Zhan Zhouzhou had free ti, she practiced swordsmanship.
Originally, back on Earth, due to the heavy schoolwork, she didn’t have much free ti, and Zhan Zhouzhou would occasionally slack off.
But in The Matrix Survival Ga, she mostly had nothing to do, and finally had the chance to imrse herself in practicing swordsmanship frequently.
Through long-term practice, Zhan Zhouzhou not only had better coordination than others but also gained a passive ability for agility.
In the Matrix, with various tools enhancing her, her five senses also improved to an extent.
Sensing soone opening the door, she sheathed her sword and looked in that direction.
"Li Zheng?"
Li Zheng saw her too, but didn’t greet her, only nodded and walked past her.
He swiped the card, entered the door.
"Lest dreams grow long in the night, better to act swiftly and hope to deal with that annoying guy thoroughly tonight."
At night, the fourth room.
This was an ordinary tallic-style room. Yan Guang set up a capsule residence but didn’t enter it. Instead, he rigged up a hammock outside, swaying comfortably, chatting in the water area, thoroughly enjoying himself.
Not far from him, there was a campfire lit with firewood and other combustibles collected during previous explorations, with pieces of at skewered on a simple grill, sizzling as the grease dripped and ignited tiny flas in the fire.
The aroma of roasted at filled the entire room, making one’s mouth water and fingers twitch with desire.
Yan Guang’s attention was entirely on the regional channel, not noticing Li Zheng’s arrival.
"Quite the bon vivant."
Li Zheng passed by without stopping or making a sound to disturb Yan Guang, swiping the card at the next room’s door before leaving.
The little cherry on his shoulder, however, looked longingly at the roasting at over the fire, reluctantly averting its gaze only when Li Zheng took it along through the door.
"Hmm, I should get a stove and learn from Yan Guang how to improve life’s quality. It’s not like I don’t have the ans."
At night, the fifth room.
This was a desolate Gobi environnt. Ye Kai, the brother among the Ye siblings, ca here after being assigned.
Feeling bored at night, Ye Kai, after dinner, was at the door of his capsule residence, holding a towel, occasionally dipping it in a little water, polishing a two-person tall tal cha.
This ti, Li Zheng paused for a mont, making eye contact with Ye Kai as he turned, both nodding to each other.
Ye Kai noticed the blood-red lantern in Li Zheng’s hand, showing a hint of confusion, but he didn’t pry or ask. He simply turned back and continued polishing the cha.
Even though there wasn’t a speck of dust on it, he was utterly focused on the task.
"The people who ca from Channel One should all recognize the lantern. Although it no longer looks like a lantern, they still know its light and effects."
