nearly every demon awakener wore an expression of intense heartbreak.
Long ago, [Godfiend Trials] had been the place where most ordinary demon awakeners could defy fate and change their destinies.

[Godfiend Trials] had been completely destroyed!
Caelan’s gaze swept over Evelyn beside him, and he paused slightly in surprise.
Compared to just now, the current Evelyn looked like a completely different person.
The mature [Coldmoon Beastskin Skirt], paired with [Darkspider Silk Stockings], perfectly accentuated her curves, showing off her figure to the fullest.

"Little Caelan, now that you’ve obtained the [Essence of the Sun Ancient Tree], don’t forget—you owe Evelyn a favor!"
No one understood the value of the [Essence of the Sun Ancient Tree] better than the Supre Staff.
If not for its limitations, it would never have been willing to hand over such a precious material to Caelan.
For example, Caelan did not know that the [Essence of the Sun Ancient Tree] could not resurrect an inheritor.

Hearing their complaints, Caelan frowned slightly and swept his gaze across them.
"Shut up, all of you!"

That crushing pressure instantly startled the surrounding demon awakeners.

Caelan and Evelyn returned to the streets and planned to take a good look around.
After all, this was the Abyss. Many of the goods sold here simply did not exist on the human side.
If traveling between the two worlds did not consu such an enormous amount of energy, then simply buying low in one world and selling high in the other would already be enough to earn staggering profits.
"Excuse , how much is this Sending Stone?"
Evelyn walked up to a stall, picked up a Sending Stone, and asked the Nightfiend shopkeeper.
A warm smile imdiately appeared on the Nightfiend’s face, creating a sharp contrast with his savage appearance.
"Honored guest, you can take it ho for only 2 Mana Ore Stones! We’re currently running a special offer—buy one, get one free!"
Hearing that, Evelyn could not help showing a look of surprise.
A Sending Stone like this would sell for at least 100,000 gold coins on the human side.
But two Mana Ore Stones would cost only 500 gold coins there.
It was obvious from this alone that there was a massive price gap between the two worlds.
This was way too cheap!
Seeing that Evelyn had still not said whether she wanted to buy it, the Nightfiend shopkeeper continued pitching enthusiastically,
"Beautiful miss, the Sending Stones in our shop are the highest quality in all of Fallen City!"
"How about it... would you like to buy a pair and give them a try?"
