The Nightfiend shopkeeper sang the praises of the Sending Stone to the skies.
In truth, the prices in his shop were actually on the high side.
It was only because the two humans in front of him probably did not know the market price of Sending Stones that he had tried his luck with the sales pitch.
What he had not expected, however, was that the Mana Ore Stones he considered incomparably precious were nothing much to Caelan and Evelyn.
"How about this? Give ten of them. I’ll just treat them as souvenirs!"
Evelyn casually paid out so Mana Ore Stones, then excitedly handed one of the Sending Stones to Caelan.
anwhile, Caelan’s gaze had already started roaming all over the marketplace.
He had to admit, the goods in Fallen City were dazzling in every direction, and many of them were incredibly tempting.
Caelan had even spotted many precious materials that were priceless and nearly impossible to obtain on the human side.

At the very least, it was tens of tis cheaper!

Caelan could not help sighing inwardly.
Only now did he truly understand that the gap between different worlds could be unimaginably vast.
Just then, following Evelyn, he entered a dimly lit street.

Caelan sighed inwardly, then continued wandering through Fallen City with Evelyn.
He himself found the whole shopping experience rely passable, but Evelyn, on the other hand, was especially excited, as though she felt no fatigue whatsoever.
Another half hour passed.
After coming out of a shop, Evelyn suddenly spoke in a mysterious tone.
"Lord Caelan, I just found a way to make so money. Want to give it a try together?"
"The Mana Ore Stones we’re carrying are limited, after all. If we can earn a bit more, then we can buy goods here and take them back for a huge profit!"
Evelyn’s thinking was simple. She ca from a commoner background, so she was naturally frugal and unwilling to let any chance to make money slip away.
There were so many treasures in the Abyss. If they just let this opportunity pass by, it would be such a waste!
In short, since they were already here, why not stock up on more supplies?
As for Caelan, the mont he heard the proposal, his eyes imdiately lit up!

"And there’s also the Mage Arena here, which is extrely popular. I can participate, but you can’t."
After saying that, Evelyn’s face showed a tiny, smug expression.
At long last, she had finally found one thing in which she could outdo Caelan.
But what Evelyn had not expected was that there was not the slightest trace of disappointnt on Caelan’s face.
"Who told you that just because I’m a warrior, I can’t enter the Mage Arena?"
The corners of Caelan’s lips curved upward. Then he snapped his fingers, and in the next instant, the shape of the longsword in his hand began to change!
In the blink of an eye, a staff appeared in Caelan’s grasp.
Once again, Evelyn was stunned by Caelan’s thods.
Her beautiful eyes widened, shimring with astonishnt, her face full of shock.
"Lord Caelan, how did you do that this ti?"
Caelan smiled faintly, then casually swung the staff in his hand.
"It’s actually very simple. My existence has always been rather special, hasn’t it?"
"So no matter what happens to , nothing is really impossible."
Caelan’s logic was simple:
When he used his skills with a longsword, weren’t they just sword beams?
So if he used a staff instead, wouldn’t they beco spell skills?

But far more awakeners earned very little.
And on top of that, the arena itself took a cut of the money.
At this very mont, the host standing atop the high platform in the arena was enthusiastically stirring up the crowd!
"Honored guests, our duel arena has always remained true to its original principles. For five hundred years, our revenue split has never changed!"
"Other than a 10% venue fee, the remaining day’s earnings are distributed to the top three arena winners in shares of 50%, 30%, and 10% respectively!"
