Chapter 1592: Chapter 1581: Barson’s Peculiarity

Looking at the increasingly dark sky, Ning Fan muttered to himself, “Tonight, I’ll et you.”

It’s not the right ti yet; the villagers haven’t gone to rest.

When the last oil lamp in the village went out, the wooden hut suddenly opened.

The man seed to completely blend into the night. Even with Ning Fan’s eyesight, he could only make out a rough silhouette.

The man picked up the at and vegetables on the ground and returned to the wooden hut.

He thought the man wouldn’t co out again, but unexpectedly, the wooden door opened once more.

“Where is he going…”

Watching the man walk towards the outskirts of the village, Ning Fan felt a wave of puzzlent.

The man’s steps were steady, continuously moving away from the village.

“Could he be deliberately luring out?”

Thinking about this, Ning Fan hesitated for a mont, then quietly followed.

Before long, when the outline of the village had completely rged into the darkness, with not a trace in sight.

This disheveled man finally stopped.

At this mont, Ning Fan had a strange thought, “In such a sinister and secluded place, does he plan to kill and dispose of a body here?”

This was a dense forest with weeds and trees everywhere, observing the surroundings, faintly visible were graves of varying heights.

At this point, the man turned his head and looked towards a patch of woods.

Without any words or expressions, the man just quietly observed.

“Quite adept at putting on a cool facade. Trying to force to reveal myself.”

Seeing this scene, Ning Fan felt a wave of irritation but still walked out of the woods openly.

Having been discovered, continuing to hide would lose its aning, and it would belittle Ning Fan.

Hearing the man speak in Thai, Ning Fan felt a headache, frowning as he asked, “Do you speak Huaxia?”

Just as Ning Fan was about to repeat in English, the man calmly said, “Who are you? Why are you following ?”

Ning Fan blurted out, “I’m just a tourist. And which eye of yours saw following you? Can’t I co here on my own?”

The man said without joy or sorrow, “There’s no need to argue. You were the one spying in the mountains, right?”

“If you say so, then sure.”

After indirectly admitting, Ning Fan asked directly, “Who are you?”

“Did you go out of your way to find here and not know who I am?”

“Your composure is impressive.”

Ning Fan was frustrated, and sowhat conflicted about whether to reveal his true intentions.

But doing so would put him at a disadvantage, lowering his montum.

At this mont, the man said eerily, “You must have killed my son, right?”

Ning Fan’s heart tightened, “You’re Barson, Barn’s father?”

“Barson?”

The man was slightly taken aback, then said with a smile, “Not a bad na. You can just think of as Barson.”

Ning Fan imdiately understood that this father and son were using fake nas.

It made sense, considering Cailai Village was located in the Golden Triangle area, nominally under the jurisdiction of the Tai Kingdom.

But in reality, it was a lawless area, and errors in household registration were quite normal.

“How did you know Barn died?”

Ning Fan’s expression darkened.

Although he had a premonition that Barson had a way to find out about Barn’s death, he didn’t expect it to be so quick.

Barson said blandly, “Those who commit many injustices will bring about their own demise. I’m not surprised at all by his end.”

“This… this doesn’t seem right.”

Ning Fan felt strange, given the news of a beloved son’s death.

Barson should have gone insane for revenge, but his calmness was a bit excessive.

“Aren’t you angry at all?”

Ning Fan asked puzzledly, as he really didn’t sense any intense emotional change.

Barson’s mood, like his facial expression, was neither happy nor sad.

This was what puzzled Ning Fan the most.

“Why be angry at sothing expected?”

Barson’s tone was as if it was soone else’s death, not his own flesh and blood.

“Barn couldn’t possibly be the neighbor…”

Ning Fan shook his head, dismissing the quirky thought from his mind. The probability of that was too low.

“Don’t you want to know why I killed your son?”

Barson said with righteous indignation, “No need to say. It must have been his own doing, he can’t bla anyone else.”

“Damn… you really have such an open mind, so reasonable!”

Seeing Barson with a deanor of an enlightened monk, Ning Fan felt like he was seeing a ghost.

This scene was nothing like the script he had imagined.

Barson played with the Buddha Beads in his hand, slowly saying, “Of course. In this world, every cause has its effect, I had long predicted that he was destined for this calamity, so I can naturally accept it.”

Ning Fan laughed, “That’s great. In this world, you have such reasonable parents. So, regarding the matter of killing your son, how do you think it should be handled?”

Barson said blandly, “Dead is dead.”

Ning Fan laughed, “So that ans we don’t need to fight. How about a midnight snack? I’ll treat.”

“You misunderstood. You’re not going anywhere today.”

Ning Fan sneered, “So you do want to avenge your son.”

“Of course. After all, he is my flesh and blood, and as a father, I can’t ignore it.”

Barson then added, “Rest assured, though he deserved to die, I won’t make it difficult for you, I’ll give you a swift end.”

Hearing this, Ning Fan almost laughed until he cried; wasn’t this his favorite line to say?

“Barson, you know? I said the sa thing to your son before he died.”

Barson was stunned, then said, “Then before you die, I’ll grant you a wish, how about that?”

“Haha…”

Ning Fan couldn’t help but laugh out loud, then waved his hand, “Let’s not talk about that for now. I just want to know, why do you contradict yourself?”

“There’s no contradiction. I’m not angry because he deserved to die. Atonent is a father’s responsibility. These are two different things and can’t be compared.”

“You really are a paragon of hypocrisy.”

Ning Fan sneered, “Did you know about Barn using the soul-devouring doll to take lives? With such a son, since you act all discerning, you shouldn’t avenge him.”

“I told you, these are two different things.”

Ning Fan harshly criticized, “What nonsense! Weren’t the soul-devouring doll and Soul Condensing Talisman given to him by you for protection? You yourself aren’t anything good.”

“Sin!”

Barson murmured a Buddhist phrase and then said, “To be honest, when I expelled him from the family, I did know he took the soul-devouring doll and Soul Condensing Talisman, I just pretended not to.”

Finishing his words, Barson’s eyes flashed a hint of sadness, “If I had stopped him at that ti, perhaps today’s events wouldn’t have occurred. As flowers bloom and wither, cause and effect intertwine. Speaking of his destined calamity, it was I who personally brought it, causing him to be scattered, never to transcend.”

“Soul Condensing Talisman! That burning talisman!”

Ning Fan was shocked, recalling that dark green fla.

Ning Fan curiously asked, “How do you know Barn’s already scattered?”
