Chapter 1593: Chapter 1582: Completely Different

“Although the Soul Condensing Talisman can gather Barn’s soul, with his cultivation if he attempts soul possession, there is only one outco.”

Upon hearing this, Ning Fan’s expression grew sowhat grim; he hadn’t expected such a bizarre thing as soul possession to exist in the world.

“So, does this an Barson can be reborn at any ti?”

As he pondered this, Ning Fan felt a twinge of unease, but he quickly cald himself.

“Barson firmly believes his son failed in soul possession, which is why his soul scattered. Little does he know, it was by my hand.”

With Divine Power in possession, Ning Fan would never allow him the chance to be reborn.

“To speak frankly, I should thank you for eliminating a scourge from this world.”

Barson said frankly, “If he were truly evil, I would have hesitated to kill him.”

Ning Fan sneered, “Stop pretending. If you were truly so enlightened sage, you wouldn’t have used the Holy Infant.”

Upon hearing this, a glint flashed in Barson’s eyes, then he said, “I understand now. You ca here for the Holy Infant. It seems he said anything to save his life. No wonder you found this place.”

“You’re wrong. I ca to eradicate this evil from the roots,” Ning Fan said coldly. “If I don’t kill you, who knows how many people will suffer as a result.”

“You’re wrong. I never intended to seek revenge for his kind. There’s no end to vengeance, yet people are too obsessed.”

“Aren’t you being too hypocritical? You were just talking about seeking revenge on , and now you deny it.”

“You’re wrong again. I never had a personal vendetta for revenge. It’s simply that you ca to my door, and I’m fulfilling my responsibility.”

Barson continued, “If I truly harbored thoughts of revenge, why would I wait for you to co find ?”

Upon hearing this, Ning Fan couldn’t help but grumble, “So I walked right into the trap, inviting my own misfortune!”

Barson nodded, “You could say that.”

“What terrible luck to encounter soone like you.”

Now Ning Fan understood completely.

Barson’s words weren’t incoherent or illogical; rather, he possessed profound wisdom, with a state of mind far beyond the average person.

Through the conversation, it was clear Barson indeed disliked Barn, and even felt repulsed.

Regarding Barn’s death, as he said, Barson never intended to go out of his way to find the murderer and seek vengeance.

Lack of revenge does not an a lack of responsibility, after all, they are bound by bloodline.

Ning Fan was indeed unlucky; if he hadn’t co here, with Barson’s philosophical perspective, he wouldn’t have actively sought trouble with him.

But now they had t, it was ti for Barson to fulfill his responsibility.

Ning Fan said coldly, “Today, we’ll see who will et their end here!”

Barson nodded, “Indeed. All grudges and grievances shall end here.”

Ning Fan scoffed, “Are you so certain you can kill ?”

The aning behind Barson’s words was simple; after killing Ning Fan, he wouldn’t trouble others.

Barson didn’t answer that question but calmly said, “Aren’t you curious about the Holy Infant?”

Ning Fan’s thoughts shifted, “The Holy Infant is right here!”

“Indeed.”

Barson bent down, his hands digging continuously into the ground.

Seeing Barson unguarded, Ning Fan didn’t seize the opportunity to attack.

Ning Fan had a complex view of Barson.

The real Barson he encountered was completely different from what he imagined, appearing as two extres.

Barson had none of the arrogance of a Martial Artist, devoutly digging with his hands,

Ning Fan observed clearly, his movents were gentle, and whenever he unearthed small creatures like earthworms, he would carefully set them aside.

Despite appearing dirty and untidy, Ning Fan saw a sacred side to Barson.

Honestly, Ning Fan now felt a slight reluctance to strike.

“Sigh. How did you end up with such a wayward and wicked son?”

Setting that aside, Barson indeed deserved a bit of Ning Fan’s respect.

Not long after, Barson retrieved an urn from the hole.

The urn resembled a wine jar or pickle jar, except larger in size, requiring an adult to embrace it.

The urn was entirely black, with blood-red talisman lines etched on its surface.

These blood-red lines flickered in a rhythm akin to breathing.

The opening of the urn had no lid; instead, chains covering the jar were woven into a chain sh at the mouth.

This reminded Ning Fan of that eerie soul-devouring ghost doll.

Ning Fan asked in puzzlent, “Are these chains and runes ant to suppress the Holy Infant?”

Barson replied calmly, “The Holy Infant is too sinister. If it erges, it will bring ruin and destruction, thus it must be suppressed.”

“But Barn claid you’ve already refined the Holy Infant and can wield it masterfully?”

Upon hearing this, Barson shook and nodded, with an indescribable strangeness.

Covering the urn’s opening, Barson softly said, “Do you still wish to see the Holy Infant?”

Ning Fan wore a peculiar expression but then said, “Consider it my dying wish!”

Ning Fan suddenly felt Barson’s quaintness was endearing, as he continued to honor his earlier promise.

Barson nodded, placing his right hand on the chains, a flash of light from his palm.

As if receiving a signal, the chains on the urn moved like living things, slowly writhing and coiling around Barson’s arm.

As the chain sh at the urn’s mouth dissipated, Ning Fan suddenly felt a chill, exhaling a breath of white mist.

Compared to earlier, the temperature had dropped by at least twenty degrees,

The grass beneath, the surrounding trees, were coated in layers of white frost.

On a sumr’s tropical night, yet deep winter frost appeared.

Just as Ning Fan was astonished by the change, his expression suddenly hardened, involuntarily speaking out, “Such thick resentnt.”

In this cold realm, a cold and sinister aura arose abruptly,

This aura enveloped the forest like a relentless tide.

Amidst this aura, Ning Fan seed to hear countless low cries, curses…

Darkness, negativity, despair…various negative emotions, oppressing enough to make one suicidal.

With the flow of Divine Power, Ning Fan was not significantly affected, his ntal state normal, only his sharp fighting spirit sowhat diminished.

Barson gave Ning Fan a surprised glance, then sighed deeply, “The sins of the ancestors run too deep. Even though I cleanse it day and night with Buddhist teachings, I can’t dissolve even a trace of the Holy Infant’s resentnt.”

Ning Fan unceremoniously cursed, “Ninety-nine innocent infants, yet your ancestors’ actions are worse than beasts.”

Barson said gloomily, “You are right. We are guilty, with unforgivable sins.”

Ning Fan said lightly, “Why not die to repent to the world, at least it would lessen your guilt.”

Barson shook his head, “I cannot die yet.”

Just as Ning Fan was about to make a snide remark, Barson said, “Death is too lenient for , unable to absolve my sins.”

Ning Fan mocked, “Oh! Then how can you absolve your sins?”

“Do you know my original realm?”

As he spoke, Barson released his aura, revealing his Peak of True Origin realm.
