Chapter 801: Chapter 574: Please Don’t Give Up

In the Empire military command, Lieutenant Colonel Nimaiya listened to his subordinate’s report and suddenly frowned.

Due to the dual-line attack, the Federation cha on the right has now been discovered, and the distance is steadily closing in.

anwhile, the Federation troops on the left seem to have completely disappeared.

Could they have retreated?

If they’ve truly retreated, should our side continue advancing with the troops?

Thinking it through, Lieutenant Colonel Nimaiya picked up the communicator: “Left side troops continue forward for 30 minutes, if no enemy is found then split half the forces to encircle the right side cha, in this battle we must eliminate the Federation’s vital forces.”

After issuing the order, the Lieutenant Colonel felt so uncertainty, as he still hadn’t seen the so-called assault troops.

The opposing platoon’s nearly been wiped out and is almost breaching the Fire Hills’ defenses, are they still not deploying core forces?

However, the situation is already on a knife-edge now; having taken over most of the Fire Hills, how could we possibly order a retreat?

As Lieutenant Colonel Nimaiya of the Empire issued the order, it was precisely intercepted by Black, and then relayed to Mu Fan’s ear.

Mu Fan was surprised that his assistance to Joe in avoiding risk imdiately triggered a series of unpredictable changes.

Originally, the eastern troops chasing Joe Pate and others directly split nearly half the forces and began moving westward, the trend suggesting they’re trying to flank Major Jero from the side.

Thus, Mu Fan, who initially planned to traverse terrain from the rear, stopped as groups of soldiers began to appear.

Crossing the terrain, Mu Fan would be able to enter the tunnel and arrive on ti, yet now they’re delayed due to the appearance of these soldiers.

20 seconds, 30 seconds… 1 minute, there’s no sign of these soldiers leaving; they’ve suddenly stopped, seemingly preparing to ready in place.

“What a hassle,” Mu Fan muttered under his breath.

But Black heard him, “Need my assistance, Lord?”

“You have a way?” Mu Fan spoke while his eyes scanned back and forth, if it doesn’t work, he would retrace and detour; however, ti inevitably would be delayed.

“I am omnipotent.”

Black confidently declared, as its voice fell, a command-induced signal wave instantly traversed hundreds of ters of space.

Underneath so shattered rocks, suddenly there was movent in a few stones, followed by the ergence of a black tallic arm with a surface full of dents.

Soon after the bald head and a crude torso followed.

This military robot finally stood up, a blue light flickered in its eyes, then it thrust a hand into the rubble, pulling out a similarly designed robot.

The two robots exchanged glances, then dragged out an unopened weapons box from the ruins.

Opening the weapons box, the two robots quickly extracted so weapons, then stood up, locked onto a target and started running at full pace.

30 seconds had passed since Black spoke, yet nothing happened.

“What’s your plan?”

“Look, it’s coming.”

Mu Fan’s puzzled gaze lifted, at the edge of his vision’s blind spot in the distance, a black silhouette appeared with rhythmic steps.

Click, click, click, click…

The sound of chanical feet on rocks was so apparent that soldiers preparing to gather in place turned to look.

A clumsy-looking simple robot was heading their way.

They didn’t bring any robots, did they?

The closest dozen soldiers stood up puzzled and surrounded it.

The robot stopped its steps after seeing them.

“What’s going on?”

“A robot’s approaching from this side, don’t know where it’s from.”

Then several mbers who seed to be officers from the Empire military stood up and walked over.

When around fifty people had surrounded the robot, facing those scrutinizing eyes.

The robot raised its left hand and waved, then emitted a chanical electronic sound: “Hi~”

Huh?

The surrounding soldiers froze.

“Thank you for admiring Lord Black’s handso and charming figure, baby, here’s a gift for you all.”

Suddenly a human-like laughter emanated from the robot’s head, and then that tightly clenched right fist opened up.

A tallic round object blinking rapidly in red light appeared.

When the soldiers clearly saw the shape of this object, the hairs on their backs stood up, then a piercing scream erupted from the soldier closest: “Bomb~~~Duck!~~~~~~~”

Boom!

Mu Fan only felt a heavy pressure on his eardrum, followed by a montary stagnation in the surrounding air where the black robot stood, then a dazzling brilliance contracted in an instant and bellowed open.

A terrifying ring of flas spread, engulfing those dozens of Empire soldiers closest, hurling away those who couldn’t dodge in ti.

The rocky layer there was even blasted through.

This explosion directly stunned the preparing troops.

Ten full seconds later, the remaining soldiers finally reacted, swiftly regrouping.

“One lord sacrificed, there are millions more to stand…” Mu Fan, I’ve already decided what to do with the next batch of products from Shadow Base.”

Black’s haunting voice sounded.

Then further on the distant rocks, another black robot stood up, holding an OW42 type pulse rifle in each hand.

Dada-dada-dada-dada…

The rifle barrels erupted in pale blue flas, and Mu Fan watched soldiers fell en masse.

This was even more shocking than the prior explosion.

“Black, your shooting is too accurate!”

“Accuracy be damned, get running now, I can hold them for just a few seconds,” Black excitedly said, both of its precious bodies sacrificed, now Black Lord’s mood while shooting was wholly mixed with pain and joy.

Sweating…

Upon seeing those soldiers angrily raising guns and charging toward the distant robot, Mu Fan swiftly rolled and sprinted, each leap covering five to six ters.

The sharp gunfire completely drowned out Mu Fan’s footsteps, no one noticed the shadow trailing them.

Mu Fan finally crossed the area within 10 seconds.

Then over there, the dual-wielding rifle robot, shot into pieces, satisfiedly uttered “So damn… satisfying.”

Then it collapsed into a pile of scrap.

When Mu Fan appeared at the bottom of the giant rock cavern, the remaining dozen soldiers cast complex glances at him, with Joe Pate standing anxiously by the cha.

Seeing Mu Fan, he hurriedly rushed over, firmly grabbed Mu Fan’s shoulder, eyes filled with indescribable shock and excitent, “How did you do that?”

Mu Fan shook his head, looking the veteran in the eyes, speaking solemnly, “Sergeant, I’ll explain later, right now please contact Major Jero, the Empire military is starting to encircle him.”

Joe jolted in surprise, only now realizing their Major’s radio seed to have been silent for a long ti.

He quickly picked up the communicator, opened a direct line.

Soon after, Jero’s weary voice sounded, “What’s the matter, Joe?”

“Major, the Empire military is flanking your position; quickly relocate!”

“Relocate?”

Looking at the ch structure chart on the central console showing one arm already destroyed, Jero’s desolate voice resonated, “I fear it’s impossible, they’re already locked onto my position; Teresa has just fallen… I underestimated the Empire’s strength and overrated my own.”

Joe’s hand started to tremble slightly.

A long silence filled the radio, lastly Jero’s raspy voice sounded, “Please let die like a soldier.”

His failed decision bore undeniable responsibility for this defensive battle’s heavy losses, because of his decision, the entire 27th Infantry Company is nearly wiped out by now.

Moreover, not only their stationed D zone, but also four nearby zones, the entire garrison of the Fire Hills is teetering on collapse.

“Major…”

“Major, I’m Mu Fan. Now listen to , all units charge the northwest corner on the military map, there’s a natural Rocky Canyon there, I’ll be waiting to assist.”

“Before final defeat arrives… please don’t give up.”

Mu Fan, catching Joe off guard, snatched the communicator and spoke calmly.

“Private!?” Jero’s astonished voice rang.
