Chapter 802: Chapter 575: An Opponent Like You

Please don’t give up!

Major Jero, who had already resolved to die, was stunned upon hearing this sentence.

He was very familiar with this voice, because not long ago, he had just had a fierce argunt with its owner.

Now, in dire straits, he actually hears this private’s voice again!

Only then did Joe realize, looking surprised at Mu Fan, who had snatched the communicator from his hand, “You…”

Except for Mu Fan himself, everyone was shocked by the private’s actions and the content of what he said.

“What on earth are you trying to do, Private!”

“I’m going to save you. Do you want to see your station ultimately taken over by friendly forces?”

“Impossible!” Hearing Mu Fan’s words, Jero’s tone suddenly intensified.

“Then fight to stay alive, Major.” Mu Fan’s eyes were bright, his hand holding the communicator steady without a tremor.

Jero: “…I understand.”

The communication ended, and Mu Fan was t with a circle of puzzled and excited glances around him.

“Private, how do you plan to do this? We are ready to listen to you now.” As a sergeant, Joe was enough to speak for the other soldiers.

“I need your cha.”

Mu Fan looked at Joe Pate and spoke calmly.

cha?

The sudden request caused the atmosphere inside the cavern to montarily freeze.

In Mu Fan’s eyes, Joe saw only bravery and fearlessness; ever since this extraordinary logistics officer arrived at the unit, his imagination has been constantly challenged.

As the seconds ticked away, the veteran Joe finally nodded, flicked his right hand, and tossed a tallic activation key towards Mu Fan.

With a crisp slap, the activation key landed steadily in Mu Fan’s palm, and a slight smile appeared on his face.

What he needed wasn’t the activation key but the trust of his comrades.

And now, he’d obtained it.

However, Joe still held so doubts in his heart, such as when Mu Fan learned to operate chas.

It is known that anyone capable of piloting a cha in combat in the army could not possibly hold only the rank of a private.

The chanical master and the pilot are generally considered invaluable assets to the army under any circumstances.

“Mu Fan, when did you learn to operate a cha?” Finally, Bench couldn’t help but ask aloud.

Mu Fan was already standing at the foot of the Gun Knight II cha. Upon hearing the question, he turned to look at his comrade with a light chuckle, “I’ve always known how.”

With those words, under the watchful gaze of the others, Mu Fan slightly tightened his legs, and with a low shout, he jumped up without using any boarding tools, leaping directly onto the knee jo[int of the cha.

With his arms hooked lightly onto the armor’s outer shell, he swung himself upwards using his waist’s strength.

As the cha hatch opened, Mu Fan swiftly and precisely slipped inside, followed by the hatch closing.

When the engine behind humd with a low thrum, the few below were still imrsed in the shock caused by Mu Fan’s skillful maneuvers, and the cha before them had already powered up.

“Joe, I’ve sent you the route. Lead them along the path, and we will regroup at the destination.”

Suddenly Mu Fan’s voice ca through the communication channel. The veteran looked up at his Gun Knight, those dim eyes, the mottled body, and for a brief mont, the cha seed to co alive.

Was it an illusion?

“You must return safely.”

Listening to the words in his ear, Mu Fan’s fingers moved swiftly over the console, a smile playing at his lips.

His right hand precisely inserted into the hand coordinator, then raised a thumb.

Feeling the rough tal texture at his fingertip, Mu Fan twisted his neck, a faint heat stirring in his blood.

The rust-stained body stepped out with one stride.

The heavy figure disappeared from sight like a lone and proud knight.

Empire Frontier Army 33rd War Zone 5th cha Team, ordered to search along the route.

Two shooting-type Stinger chas, two light assault chas equipped with magnetic vibration blades—Twilights, and a heavy sword shield cha over twenty tons—Fire Lizard.

This was a complete configuration for a cha team.

At this mont, these five chas were executing reconnaissance in the designated area.

“Don’t you think our officer is overly cautious, thinking that those chas across there are an opponent to our Empire’s army?”

“The officer asked us to be careful, which seems overly alarmist. With those pathetic troops across, why should our cha army tread carefully? Can they possibly break through the electromagnetic shield to make a warship airborne?”

In the cha voice channel, an officer spoke casually, and his words were followed by bouts of laughing.

Not just any one of them, but they all believed this battle was not even on the sa level, far too easy.

A Stinger cha boringly kicked away scattered stones in front, its gauss rifle in one hand scanning back and forth, the pilot not expecting to find anything.

However, as he maneuvered the cha to the top of a high ridge ahead, a red dot suddenly flashed on the radar screen, followed by a ‘beep’ alert.

Hmm!?

This pilot instantly tensed up, his spirit focused involuntarily.

Thump, thump, thump…

Heavy footsteps echoed in the cockpit through the sound collector, and this pilot finally saw the source of the sound.

A worn-looking Federation military-issue cha was striding towards him in his line of sight. The Gun Knight’s heavy body couldn’t manage the nimble steps of a recon-type cha.

Each step sent gravel flying; the cha was simply foolish beyond belief!

“Stinger reporting enemy cha sighted, brothers, this reward is mine.” The pilot sneered coldly, disregarding the playful scolding in his ear, and directly mounted the gauss rifle, pointing its barrel toward the Federation cha sprinting towards him.

Crosshair locked in, calculating lead, parater adjustnt, fire!

Bang!

Ting.

As the gun fired, a spark suddenly flew off the side of that cha.

Then the opponent’s body swayed slightly, instantly moving out of the crosshair.

Impossible!

This pilot couldn’t believe what he just saw.

Just as he fired, the opponent made a simple move.

With a single hand, it drew that cumberso alloy heavy sword, and with a swing, it held it at its side.

And that shot hit the alloy two-handed sword, with its angled blade.

The thick blade served as a shield, even causing a ricochet.

That action looked…

Just like a joke!

This cannot be believed, nor accepted!

Ignoring the inquiries from his comrades, this unconvinced pilot grew sowhat annoyed. With a shake of his arm, switched to [armor-piercing bullets]!

Left hand supporting beneath the gun, the entire cha body taking a semi-kneeling stance atop the hilltop.

Selected semi-automatic fire, lead point A, lead point B…

Coordinates entered.

Three-round burst!

Bang, bang, bang.

The gauss rifle muzzle emitted a faint blue muzzle flash.

The pilot smirked, waiting to witness the scene. In such a rugged hilly terrain, the straight-line distance was only about three hundred ters. This ti he was confident he could hit the target before it approached and turn it into a sieve.

Mu Fan moved his left hand plainly across the console with one hand.

When he touched the cha again, a strong confidence surged from the depths of his heart.

The familiar military console, those rugged yet smoothly tactile chanical keys, the robust engine driving the cha from below, constantly reminded Mu Fan that he was now piloting a cha!

A real military cha!

From here to the Rocky Canyon, the direct distance was five kiloters.

His task was to push through in the shortest ti.

And the raised gun Stinger ahead was just the starting point.

Mu Fan’s expression was indifferent, yet blood surged through his veins.

As the opponent’s gun muzzle aid, Mu Fan’s left hand swept across the console at ease.

Placing his left hand gently over the right, he gave a subtle twist to grasp the sword with both hands.

A sinister smile ford on his lips.

The engine roared loudly and he stepped out with one enormous stride, shattering the rocky ground beneath him.
