Through the dicine Saint’s narration, Jiang Chen and the others learned about the events that happened to the dicine Saint and Fu Ling’er, leaving everyone feeling a mix of emotions.
After his brother beca the Valley Master, he gradually managed the Elixir Valley as solid as a steel plate. Later, when his granddaughter was just born, he proposed a plan at her birth banquet. He wanted to promote the developnt of martial arts by selling elixirs at a low price, which could foster prosperity in the Martial Dao World.
However, this idea faced resistance from many of the old-school mbers of Elixir Valley. They believed that if too many elixirs spread outside, the status of Elixir Valley would be threatened, and this move was absolutely unacceptable!
After so argunts, the proposal died prematurely, and the forr Valley Master faced secret targeting by so of the old-school mbers for making such a suggestion.
At this ti, news spread that the forr Valley Master died in an alchemy furnace explosion. The dicine Saint did not believe it and secretly investigated, discovering that the forr Valley Master was imprisoned. When he tried to rescue him, those imprisoning the forr Valley Master caught wind of his efforts and pursued him for elimination.
While escaping, the dicine Saint learned from the forr Valley Master that soone intended to take advantage of the internal discord caused by his promotion plan to unite one faction to destroy the other and seize control of Elixir Valley.
After learning this, the dicine Saint loudly exposed the enemy’s plan, but at that ti, the people of Elixir Valley believed the forr Valley Master was dead and did not believe the dicine Saint.
The enemy secretly used the wife and daughter of the forr Elixir Valley Master to threaten the dicine Saint, forcing him to leave Elixir Valley. It was then that he realized that Ling’er’s father’s death might not have been due to an alchemy furnace explosion!
The dicine Saint tried to find help, but none in Elixir Valley believed him, filling him with despair!
Furthermore, the only family mbers of the forr Valley Master left were his daughter-in-law and granddaughter. With no other choice, the dicine Saint took Fu Ling’er and her mother away, planning to find a safe place for them before returning to rescue his brother.
However, as soon as they left Elixir Valley, they were pursued. Fu Ling’er’s mother died at the hands of the enemy while fleeing. The ones hunting them were Blood Blade Sect’s Punishnt Elders, Xue Jiang and Xue Chen.
Upon hearing this, Jiang Chen understood why the dicine Saint was so ruthless towards Xue Jiang and Xue Chen.
"My escape lasted for three months. After three months, I suddenly discovered that people from Elixir Valley also started chasing , claiming that I killed Linger’s grandfather. That’s when I realized I couldn’t defend myself, and my brother was surely killed by those bastards who then frad !"

"It should be!"
Jiang Chen nodded lightly: "The Blood Blade Sect aligned with the three major organizations, we knew this long ago. And the fact that they were laying out plans in Elixir Valley we also knew. Thus, it’s not hard to understand that the Soul Devouring Group controlled the forr Valley Master to gain control over Elixir Valley."
"This, this...makes sense! Makes sense!" The dicine Saint said excitedly: "If that’s the case, my brother isn’t dead?"
"He probably isn’t, and he probably isn’t under control yet! If he were dead, capturing Ling’er would be pointless. As I ntioned earlier, it was the information from the three major organizations that brought those people here, none from Elixir Valley ca. It’s obviously not Elixir Valley’s intent."
Jiang Chen nodded again: "Moreover, it’s very likely that the others in Elixir Valley don’t believe that Ling’er is still alive! And if Ling’er’s grandfather was already under control, it wouldn’t be soone coming to capture Ling’er, but Elixir Valley openly welcoming her back. Thus, he isn’t dead nor controlled!"

Completely convinced by Jiang Chen’s deduction, the dicine Saint excitedly grabbed Jiang Chen’s arm: "Young Jiang, take advantage of this Grand Pill Competition opportunity and make sure to rescue Brother Fu! I’m entrusting you with this!"

Jiang Chen grabbed the dicine Saint, raised an eyebrow, and complained: "Elder Yao, at your age, can’t you be a little more composed? Why tell Ling’er now? Would telling her now do anything besides worrying her? Tell her only after rescuing them, or else!"
"Oh right, I’ll wait until after the rescue to tell her, as a surprise!" The dicine Saint realized, nodded, and sat back down.
With everything clear, Jiang Chen said a few words and let Elder Ming and the others rest.
Under Jiang Chen’s seemingly unintentional arrangents, only Jiang Chen, Yan Hu, Supre Long Huang, and a few mbers of the Fla Dragon Group were left in the living room. Supre Long Huang and the others looked at Jiang Chen with a hint of surprise.
"Supre Long Huang, do you have sothing to say?"
Jiang Chen looked up at Supre Long Huang and said casually.
Supre Long Huang said aningfully: "How did you know I had sothing to find you about?"
"With Supre Hu Sha here, if it’s just because of what happened here, you didn’t have to co unless you had sothing else. Plus, you were a bit concerned about seeking revenge, so you decided to co over!" Jiang Chen softly analyzed.
Supre Long Huang raised his hand and pointed at Jiang Chen, lanting: "You, young one, if you keep being this smart, be careful no one wants to be your friend!"
"I don’t need friends!" Jiang Chen shook his head gently, then glanced at Yan Hu with firm eyes: "I only need brothers!"
The two smiled knowingly at each other, everything understood without words.
"Alright, alright, stop showing off your brotherhood here!"
Supre Long Huang waved his hand nonchalantly, his expression turned serious, and he said solemnly, "I ca to see if you could show so Spiritual Wine, or ideally, take to where your people are getting it!"
Jiang Chen glanced at Elder Qing and the three others, his eyes wary as he looked at Supre Long Huang: "What are you planning?"
