"I’ll choose this horse, I really like how it perford just now!"
After agreeing on the bet, the two began to select horses. Li Changtian directly chose the one that had knocked Jiang Chen down, taking the opportunity to mock him as well.
Jiang Chen looked up at the horse Li Changtian had chosen, the corners of his mouth curling slightly as he casually picked another horse.
"Mr. Jiang, are you sure about this horse?" At this mont, Xu Wenya approached again, her face full of mockery.
"Yes, this one. Is there a problem?" Jiang Chen nodded.
"Of course, there’s a problem—this is a warmblood horse!" Xu Wenya’s eyes couldn’t have been stranger, looking at him as if he were a fool: "Racehorses should be spirited, warmblood horses are only used for dressage."
"Is that so?"
Jiang Chen was taken aback, genuinely unaware of this rule, but then he shrugged: "It doesn’t matter. Even if I rode a donkey, I could still beat that guy."
Gasp!
Xu Wenya was dumbfounded!
Staring blankly at Jiang Chen, she couldn’t fathom where his confidence ca from.
Even riding a donkey he could win?
Is he a deity or what!
Xu Wenya was so annoyed that she stopped paying attention to Jiang Chen.
But nearby, Gong Yue and the others truly burst into laughter once more.
"Haha, did you hear that? This bumpkin chose a warmblood horse to race. He’s really asking to be slapped!"
"Yeah, Li Changtian’s horse is a fiery one, it runs incredibly fast!"
"No need to say more, let’s just sit back and watch this bumpkin get a slap in the face and give us sothing to rember!"
"Haha..."
Li Changtian laughed heartily at Jiang Chen, "Haha, Jiang Chen, you’ve chosen a horse suited for won! Seems like you really like to live off a woman, choosing a horse that won favor! That’s really quite revealing about your personality, isn’t it!"
Jiang Chen glanced at Li Changtian indifferently, not bothering to engage him. He mounted his horse and leisurely moved to the starting line.
Li Changtian’s lips curled into a victorious smile as he too mounted his horse and ca up beside Jiang Chen.
"I’ll be the referee!" Gong Yue ran up to the pair and volunteered herself as the referee: "One lap, whoever cos back first wins."
Jiang Chen nodded nonchalantly, while Li Changtian smiled slightly, "That way, so people won’t stand a chance at victory. If it were a longer race, maybe they could catch up after my horse tires out!"
"Haha!"
"Haha..."
A group of n and won laughed out loud.
Xu Wenya listened, shaking her head, too lazy to argue anymore. It was ti for Jiang Chen to lose thoroughly.
"Alright, ready... Go!"
Gong Yue loudly announced the start of the race.
"Giddy up!"
As her words fell, Li Changtian shouted and dashed forward.
"Kneel!"
But Jiang Chen didn’t budge. Instead, he bellowed, and his cultivation technique whirred inside him.
"Thump!"
The red horse that Li Changtian was riding imdiately knelt on the ground, exactly as it had when Jiang Chen had been alone with it before.
"Ouch... tumble roll—"
Li Changtian was thrown off the horse’s back, rolling a good distance away.
"What... what’s going on?"
"What’s wrong with that horse?"
"How could this happen?!"
"Was it because of what that bumpkin shouted just now?"
Gong Yue and the others exclaid in astonishnt.
Xu Wenya’s pupils shrank, staring straight at Jiang Chen, her expression incredulous.
It was only then that Jiang Chen rode his horse over to Li Changtian, smiling and saying, "Li Changtian, do you really plan to win against like this? Get up quickly."
"You... This is because the horse got frightened, it was just a fluke, don’t get cocky!" Li Changtian lay on the ground in pain, his face ashen as he glared at Jiang Chen.
Jiang Chen pursed his lips, nonchalantly responding, "The race has already started, and you can’t change horses during it. I hope your ’fluke’ isn’t too frequent."
"Tap, tap, tap—"
Jiang Chen didn’t bother with Li Changtian’s reaction and rode around the competition ground at a leisurely jog, as casual as if he were out shopping.
Jiang Chen wasn’t in a hurry; all he had to do was complete one lap, and he would win.
"Giddy up!" Li Changtian mounted his horse again and smacked it hard, chasing after Jiang Chen at full speed.
"Kneel!" But just as he caught up to Jiang Chen, Jiang Chen shouted once more.
Thud! Thud!
With two dull thumps, the horse knelt again, and Li Changtian was thrown off once more.
Then Jiang Chen, without even a backward glance, continued his leisurely stroll with his horse.
Gasp!
Everyone was dumbstruck!
Staring blankly at Li Changtian lying on the ground, they were all flabbergasted.
If the horse panicked the first ti, could it be the sa this ti?
And it was right after Jiang Chen shouted ’kneel’? Panic at that?
Nobody would believe that!
Gong Yue and the others exploded in disbelief a mont later.
"What on earth is going on?"
"Gong Yue, your brother-in-law, is that bumpkin a horse trainer?"
"How is that possible? Even if he’s a horse trainer, it’s not possible to make a horse so obedient with such brief contact!"
Gong Yue and her companions were genuinely confounded, staring dumbly at the ambling Jiang Chen.
Xu Wenya was even more perplexed, a flicker of doubt flashing in her eyes, watching Jiang Chen unblinkingly, her gaze following his every move.
"Giddy up!" Li Changtian, frantic and furious, mounted his horse again and chased wildly, quickly catching up to Jiang Chen once more.
Jiang Chen turned back and, before he could even speak, Li Changtian, frightened by the stare, yanked on the reins and let out a "Ouch!" before tumbling down to the ground.
"Are you an idiot?" Jiang Chen looked at the other man with amusent, then pointed at the red horse and gestured, "Stay here, don’t move!"
The red horse imdiately sprawled all four legs out and lay on the ground, motionless.
Jiang Chen nodded in satisfaction and glanced at Li Changtian, who was sprawled out on the ground, before he ambled away toward the finish line once more.
Now things were going well: Jiang Chen leisurely led his horse along, while Li Changtian was beside himself with rage, trying in vain to discipline the red horse that lay on the ground and refused to budge, almost driving him insane!
anwhile, Gong Yue and her friends were completely astounded.
It was magical!
The horse was obedient like a well-behaved baby, doing whatever Jiang Chen said!
This was freaking aweso!
Xu Wenya was even more star-struck, her eyes gleaming as she fixed her gaze unwaveringly on Jiang Chen.
At that mont, Jiang Chen while roaming around, suddenly had a thought. He rembered the scene when the red horse had thrown him off and pulled on the reins. Then, he began to channel his Cultivation Technique, slowly infusing it into the Warmblood Horse beneath him.
"Swish swoosh—"
The Warmblood Horse under Jiang Chen suddenly beca spirited, letting out a long neigh, and then abruptly accelerated.
"Tap, tap, tap—"
The horse galloped furiously, racing across the field like a wild cloud.
And as Jiang Chen’s Cultivation Technique sped up, the Warmblood Horse beca even more frenetic, sprinting faster and faster.
"What am I seeing? That..."
"That’s impossible! Isn’t that a Warmblood Horse? How can it be so fast?"
"What’s happening? Is that bumpkin really a horse trainer?"
"How divine must a horse trainer be to make a horse this obedient in such a short ti?"
"And to make a Warmblood Horse run wildly against its nature, it’s simply miraculous!"
A group of n and won watched incredulously as Jiang Chen rode swiftly, and even Gong Yue’s expression revealed sheer astonishnt.
All of them were so shocked their scalps tingled!
As for Xu Wenya, her entire body shook violently as she stared fixedly at Jiang Chen, her eyes burning with fervor, and her inner voice scread:
A God-level horse trainer!
Definitely a God-level horse trainer!
