As Shanben’s trio was discussing how to deal with Jiang Chen, in a presidential suite of the sa hotel, a man and a woman were being scolded.

They were Zhu Yan and Jin Chong, who were sent to protect Jiang Chen’s family.

Both of them listened with sour faces to the scolding and cursing of Xu Wannian coming from the phone, and it took a long ti before they hung up, then looked at each other and smiled bitterly.

"So... what do we do now?" Jin Chong asked with a bitter face.

"What do we do? Hurry up and go over. Didn’t you hear Mr. Xu scolding us like we’re his elders?" Zhu Yan gave Jin Chong a glare, reflexively glanced toward the Jiang Family Courtyard, and started heading for the door.

"Oh!? Quick, Mr. Jiang the instructor is heading out!"

Zhu Yan suddenly exclaid, as several youths with bodyguards were leaving the Jiang Family Courtyard, including Jiang Chen.

"Ah?"

Jin Chong was startled for a mont, turned his head to confirm that Jiang Chen had indeed left the Jiang Family Courtyard, then hurriedly said, "Let’s go, quickly!"

The two rushed out of their room in haste.

Entering the elevator, they pressed the button for the ground floor.

Ding!

When the elevator reached the next floor, it stopped, and four n entered.

Zhu Yan and Jin Chong frowned slightly, exchanged a glance, and in their eyes, a hint of puzzlent erged.

The four people entering the elevator were none other than Jiang Mingqian, Shanben, Yamada, and Jiang Mingqian’s Heavenly Level bodyguard.

Why was Jiang Mingqian with two people from Beihai National? Doesn’t the Jiang Family strongly oppose Beihai National?

Zhu Yan and Jin Chong were puzzled, but they had no ti to clarify this matter at present, with their minds fully occupied by how to seek Jiang Chen’s forgiveness and acceptance.

...

Following behind Jiang Yuqing and two others out of the courtyard, Jiang Chen and his group got into a Rolls-Royce Phantom prepared by the Jiang Family.

To elevate Jiang Chen’s status, Ye Jingyi had not brought over his usual vehicle, leaving it in Jinhai, so the Jiang Family had prepared a customized Rolls-Royce Phantom for him.

For this outing, each of the three accompanying Jiang Yuqing brought along an Earth Grade Peak bodyguard. Given their status, they weren’t yet able to have Heavenly Level bodyguards assigned to them. Upon seeing this, Jiang Chen brought along Yan Hu and Tian Jiang, his assigned Heavenly Level bodyguard, so he wouldn’t have to split his focus to take care of Jiang Yuqing and the others if anything happened.

Jincheng had three major clubs: the Iron Blood Clubhouse, the Breeze Clubhouse, and the Jinhuan Clubhouse.

The Iron Blood Clubhouse was founded by a retired military person and was located in the western district of Jincheng, an area where military big shots resided. Young military officers or second-generation military mbers liked to frequent the Iron Blood Clubhouse.

The Breeze Clubhouse, established by the eldest son, was in Jincheng Central Region and naturally beca the gathering place for second-generation officials.

The Jinhuan Clubhouse, situated in the East District of Jincheng, a place mainly inhabited by large comrcial families, therefore beca the favorite spot for the young wealthy heirs of the East District.

Of course, these were not strict rules, as many from other domains also liked to seek presence in the different clubhouses.

All three clubs were mbership-only, with prior military service being the primary requirent for mbership at the Iron Blood Clubhouse, as well as being descendants of military families. The Breeze Clubhouse was similar to the Iron Blood Clubhouse, just with a different domain, while the Jinhuan Clubhouse had a simple mbership criterion: if you had assets over a hundred million, you could beco a mber.

Thus, the Jinhuan Clubhouse had the most mbers among the three clubs and was also the one with the most complicated personnel.

Today was the Jinhuan Clubhouse’s monthly gathering, which most mbers in Jincheng would attend. Such gatherings, due to being monthly, were not highly prioritized by many, and certain heirs from first-class families didn’t like to attend regularly.

However, today, most offspring from the business families in Jincheng went, and even so people from the other two domains also arrived at the Jinhuan Clubhouse.

All because of one piece of news: today, the legitimate eldest grandson of the Jiang Family might appear at the Jinhuan Clubhouse!

As the manager of the Jinhuan Clubhouse, Sun Tianlin had so status, but he was personally standing in the hall to welco guests today.

The news about the legitimate eldest grandson of the Jiang Family had attracted too many heavy hitters, and he had to put on his A-ga and be very careful.

"Young Master Lin has arrived? Please, co in!" At the mont, Sun Tianlin was smiling as he welcod a young man into the clubhouse.

If soone observant looked closely, they could roughly gauge a person’s identity and status by Sun Tianlin’s attitude towards the visitors.

Take the young man just now, for instance; Sun Tianlin rely smiled politely without bending his body or nodding his head, indicating that this individual was rely an ordinary mber, from a second-tier family. Should the young master or young miss from a first-tier family arrive, Sun Tianlin would nod and greet with a smile, but if it were individuals from top families...

Ding!

A light sound signaled that the elevator had arrived at the first-floor lobby from the underground parking garage.

"Young Master Zhang? Miss ng? You’ve co as well?" Sun Tianlin looked at the couple who had just stepped out of the elevator, a flicker of surprise in his eyes, and he quickly stepped forward, bending over to bow to the two.

The people who had arrived were Zhang Wenjie and ng Yanran.

"Manager Sun, you’re personally welcoming guests here?" ng Yanran asked in surprise.

Sun Tianlin smiled, "Isn’t it because everyone is here today? I was afraid I couldn’t handle everything, so I ca to see."

Zhang Wenjie and ng Yanran gave a light smile, whether it was due to being overwheld or for so other reason, they knew well. After greeting Sun Tianlin, the two headed for the clubhouse staircase.

The Jinhuan Clubhouse’s elevator runs exclusively from the underground parking to the first floor; to go higher, one needs to transfer to another elevator. This arrangent allows the staff to better know who has entered the clubhouse.

Of course, there’s also an elevator that goes directly from the underground to the upper floors, but that is reserved for the senior mbers of the clubhouse.

Originally, Zhang Wenjie had planned to wait at the entrance, but he was dissuaded by ng Yanran, who urged him not to be too conspicuous to avoid unnecessary trouble for Jiang Chen, and they were not sure if Jiang Chen would co, so they didn’t wait at the entrance.

As evening approached and more people arrived, Sun Tianlin sighed inwardly; the Jinhuan Clubhouse’s mbers hadn’t all co together in such a long ti—about 80% of the mbers must be here now. Were they all here to see the legitimate eldest grandson of the Jiang Family?

anwhile, the Jiang Chen whom Sun Tianlin had ntioned was watching a man and a woman who had stopped his car with an icy expression on his face.

After leaving the Jiang Family Courtyard, Jiang Chen and the others drove toward the Jinhuan Clubhouse. Just as they reached the entrance of the Longteng Hotel, they were intercepted by a man and a woman rushing out of the hotel.

"Mr. Jiang, we were sent by Old Mr. Xu. We were delayed due to so matters and beg for your understanding!" Zhu Yan and Jin Chong spoke tentatively to Jiang Chen, who was sitting in the backseat of the car, their faces filled with anxiety.

Originally sowhat puzzled, but upon hearing Zhu Yan and Jin Chong say they were sent by Old Mr. Xu, Jiang Chen’s expression imdiately grew darker.
