But just as they ca to a realization in the blink of an eye, the figures of Mardo and Saint Magus lsdom had already appeared at the grand entrance of the palace hall! The latter then turned his head toward Schumacher and the Wenn Family Brothers. A strange and chilling sneer spread across his face as his aura surged and an ice-cold magic spell escaped his lips.
"Fla Dragon Magic, Armored Dragon Arm!"
The Fla Energy that had suddenly condensed in the air trembled violently before shockingly forming into a Dragon Claw. It erged abruptly above the three pursuers' heads, its power utterly terrifying. Towering waves of fla followed, pressing down rcilessly.
It wasn't just him; Mardo also acted swiftly. A terrifying expanse of underworld spread out before Schumacher and the others, unleashing a heart-pounding dark energy that crushed down on them, making it impossible to continue their pursuit.
"Damn it!"
Schumacher and the Wenn Family Brothers were infuriated, having never expected their opponents to pull such a move.
But anger aside, not even the three of them dared to directly withstand the ancient magic of the Dragon Claw and the underworld. With no other choice, they could only dodge, which sent intense ripples of disturbance through the Hollow Zone between them and the imnse power.
"We should get out of here too!" Seeing this, the others remaining inside the palace hall fled without hesitation. More than a dozen figures intentionally scattered, rushing out of the great doors from all directions at incredible speed.
By then, Mardo and Saint Magus lsdom had escaped the palace, but a huge problem now stood before them—the Fla Demon...
"ROAR!"
The Fla Demon that had appeared inside the palace hall while chasing the Wenn Family Brothers was not in its most complete or powerful state. Surrounding the area where it stood were countless Little Fla Demons, radiating scorching heat.
When it and its kin saw Mardo and lsdom arrive, followed by the figures rapidly approaching from behind, they imdiately boiled with rage. A thunderous tidal wave swept over everything!
However, it was clear that the Fla Demons in this state were not enough to stop them.
With an expressionless face, Mardo flicked his hand, and a massive expanse of underworld suddenly appeared beneath the Little Fla Demons' feet. Then, sinister black vines, like Demon Serpents, squeezed out of the ground, binding all the Fla Demons in place like Maggots of the Bone, leaving them unable to move.
"Mardo, I didn't expect you to have hidden your strength so well," Saint Magus lsdom remarked, his expression complex as he witnessed the power of Mardo's single strike. If it weren't for him today, I might have truly died.
"And you, Saint Magus lsdom, aren't you the sa? If I'm not mistaken, you must have reached the Peak Level of Holy Magister, right?" Hearing this, Mardo's expressionless face revealed a faint smile that wasn't quite a smile as he spoke indifferently.
How else could he have held out for so long against Schumacher, Wenn Tianxiong, and Wenn Yongshou? Those three all possess SSS-peak strength! If it had been who was injured first and then besieged like that, I would have perished long ago. How could I have possibly held on until now?
"It was just a guess. They're coming after us," lsdom replied dismissively, though his mind was racing.
Mardo's gaze flickered to Schumacher and the others who had charged out the gate and were quickly closing in. He frowned and said coldly, "Let's split up. But it's probably unsafe anywhere within this Sealing Ground. Saint Magus lsdom, you'd better be careful not to get yourself killed."
As soon as he finished speaking, dark energy surged from the black wings on his back, enveloping his body completely. In an instant, he transford into a streak of black light and shot away, giving lsdom no chance to say more or stop him.
"Wait, Mar—"
lsdom instinctively reached out, but he ultimately retracted his hand with a helpless sigh and a shake of his head. He understood that Mardo had no intention of getting involved in his ss and certainly didn't want to attract misfortune. The only reason Mardo had intervened before was for self-preservation.
But this is no ti for sentintality or getting lost in thought!
BANG!
His entire body erupted in a fierce blaze of dragon fire. The Fla Dragon's wings whipped up a terrifying hurricane as his figure flashed, and a venomous, icy voice followed.
"Rember this! You'd better pray I don't get a chance for revenge! Otherwise, I'll send all three of you to hell!"
As soon as these curse-like words were uttered, the scorching light flared, and lsdom's figure began to blur. By the ti Schumacher, Wenn Tianxiong, and Wenn Yongshou charged out from the doorway, the fiery light shot away like a teor!
It moved with such incredible speed that it vanished from the area in just a few breaths, leaving no trace behind.
As for Mardo, he was naturally the sa, having long since disappeared to parts unknown.
"Damn it! Forget Mardo, but how can lsdom still be so fast? Wasn't he severely injured?"
An imnse surge of True Qi washed over the area as a figure shot out from the palace. When the light faded, Wenn Tianxiong was revealed, his expression sullen and grim.
