"Musician" Defense recently recruited a sniper nad Guy."

Lars quickly offered his own guess.

"He has so fa in the Baghdad rcenary circle, and he uses an M24 sniper rifle, which many people know."

When Simon heard "Musician" Defense, a flicker of sothing different passed through his eyes.

He didn't like the "Musician" team.

They had tricked him before on the Sayif matter.

After that, they even received an audience with Old Witch Nancy.

It was also through Nancy's connections that they landed the oil field security order from Wood Energy.

Otherwise, Cook and his bunch wouldn't have had the slightest chance of landing such a lucrative deal.

"Just on this point alone, your evidence is far too flimsy."

Even though Simon did not favor Song Heping and Cook,

it wasn't as simple as pinning a cri on these people to get rid of them.

In the past, they could easily find an excuse to send them to Guantanamo.

Now, after all, they had t Old Witch, and through that connection, they secured orders from Wood Company, which ant the matter was tied to the Donkey Party.

Framing these rcenaries was trivial, but if Old Witch decided to use this incident for her own purposes, he would be in trouble too.

"Mr. Turner from Wood Energy visited the oil field a few days ago and proposed a competitive agreent. In half a month, based on the security situation of the Hassan and Cook oil fields, he will decide which company, Black Water or 'Musician', will be awarded the security orders for both fields. So, Cook's people have the strongest motive to fra us."

Lars continued to provide support for his hypothesis.

"Besides, on the night of the incident, theirs was the only ard 'Musician' group near the oil field area. If not them, who would it be?"

"Lars, the location of your eting was confidential, right?" Simon asked.

Lars helplessly nodded in acknowledgnt: "That's correct."

Simon went straight to the point and asked, "Then according to your guess, how did Song Heping and Cook get the address of your eting with the Kurd Ard?"

He had stumped Lars with his question.

Indeed.

Lars didn't know he had a traitor among his rcenaries.

Therefore, he couldn't answer the question.

Seeing Lars at a loss, Asnar quickly took over the conversation: "Simon, actually verifying this hypothesis is very simple."

Simon asked, "Old friend, it seems you have a plan in mind, let's hear it."

Asnar said, "7.62mm boat-tail bullets are indeed common, but if we verify the ballistics, it will be easy to find out which gun fired the bullet."

He pointed outside the office.

"Don't you have the relevant testing equipnt here? Just send soone to the Hassan Oil Field to bring back the gun and person, and verify the ballistic marks, and the truth will surface imdiately."

Simon thought Asnar's suggestion was good.

After briefly considering it, he made a decision: "Alright, for the sake of our old friendship, I can do this favor for you."

Asnar showed a sly smile: "I'll be counting on you then."

Simon said, "But I want to remind you, if no evidence is found this ti, you'd better keep a low profile. After all, I'm detaining people under the pretext of investigating sabotage of the cooperation between the Kurdish Organization and our CIA. If you make too much noise, it will look like a personal vendetta. Tonight, act as if you've never been here, and that all actions are decided by us."

"OK!"

Asnar couldn't have been more pleased.

If the CIA was willing to take the lead,

why wouldn't he be happy?

"I guarantee I won't ntion a word about this."

In the end, Asnar picked up his cup of coffee.

"Cheers, to a pleasant collaboration!"

Simon, with an expressionless face, also picked up his coffee cup and clinked it with Asnar's.

A complete detention plan had already ford in his mind.

After Asnar and Lars left, Simon sat in his office for a while before he picked up the phone.

"Thomas, gather a squad imdiately, arrange a helicopter; we're heading to the Hassan Oil Field right now."

"SIR, this late in the evening, to the Hassan Oil Field?"

Thomas on the other end of the phone obviously woke from a dream, yawning incessantly.

"Yes, assemble the squad imdiately."

"Got it, right away."

The GRS squad was incredibly swift. Thomas seed to anticipate sothing.

Hassan Oil Field?

Wasn't that the field currently under the responsibility of the "Musician" Defense?

"Get up, everyone! We have work to do!"

He got out of bed, went to the other team mbers' sleeping quarters, and woke them up.

"Grab your personal gear, assemble outside; we're heading to the airport imdiately."

Twelve thirty.

An Apache Ard Helicopter and a Chinook rose into the air at Baghdad Military Airport.

Inside the cabin sat twenty-four GRS team mbers.

They were the most elite mbers of the "Scorpion" squadron within GRS.

Thomas sat down next to Simon and asked loudly, "If they resist, do we kill them all?"

Simon nodded, "That's right, I hope they resist, so you can provoke them!"

Thomas nodded in understanding, "No problem!"

He turned to the other team mbers, "After landing, Team One takes strategic positions and vantage points, Team Two follows and the station master inside to capture! If we encounter resistance during this operation, shoot to kill without question!"

One o'clock in the morning.

Hassan Oilfield Area.

Having made the preparations, Song Heping was sitting on a concrete block outside the warehouse, making a phone call.

On the other end of the phone was Angel.

This Western girl had already returned to the United States.

By the ti Song Heping called her, Angel was still in her office in Washington.

Hearing Song Heping's voice, the Western girl was delighted.

"Song, what's got you thinking of in the early hours?"

She sounded not at all displeased, but rather excited.

Song Heping had to admit, Angel had been good to him.

When she left Illiguo, Song Heping personally saw her off.

She left him her phone number, saying if he ever had the chance to co to Country M, he should definitely contact her.

Now, Song Heping hadn't gone to the United States.

But he had to reach out to her out of necessity.

Lars and his group had no right to investigate his own team; the only possibility was to collaborate with the CIA, allowing the CIA to investigate his team on his behalf.

Song Heping almost predicted the future direction of this affair.

A ballistic test was certainly going to happen.

But he had long prepared for this aspect.

However, there was one thing Song Heping felt uncertain about dealing with.

If the ballistic testing turned out to be no issue, but Simon, out of personal grudges or to clear the way for Black Water by eliminating opponents, directly frad his team with so other thod, that was out of his control.

For a foolproof plan, Song Heping, after much contemplation, felt that only Angel could help him.

And the way to help him was quite simple.

Continue to stir these troubled waters even more.

"Miss Angel, I've encountered a bit of trouble and need your help."

"What's the matter?"

"It's a bit complicated, but I will send the details to your email. Will you read it?"

"Of course." Angel agreed readily, "You are my friend, and I will certainly help if you're in trouble."

"Good. After you read the contents of the email, if you can help , please do as it says. OK?"

"OK!"

Angel agreed without hesitation.

She didn't even ask what had happened.

"However, Song, did you call tonight just to talk about these official matters? I recently have an interview in Dubai, and if you're free..."

Angel was still talking when Song Heping heard the sound of helicopter rotors in the sky.

"Angel."

Song Heping cut her off.

"My trouble has arrived, don't contact for the next few days, just proceed according to the content in the email, if the trouble is resolved, I will get in touch with you."

After speaking, he hung up the phone and stood up to look at the distant sky.

A few blinking flight lights were approaching in the direction of the oil field.

Cook and the others also ca out.

Seeing those moving lights in the sky, Cook sneered, "Looks like we can't hide."

Grey Wolf asked, "Will Lars be on the helicopter?"

Cook shook his head, "No, Black Water Company won't deal with us directly, I bet the plane is full of CIA people."
