"Tsk, tsk..."

Grey Wolf looked down at the empty bowl in his hand, then at Umarov, who was still voraciously devouring the lamb chops and legs, his eyebrows involuntarily twitching a few tis.

"Damn, look at him... he's wiped out all the lamb in our freezer in just two days, and this morning he's already downed ten pounds of lamb, even more than White Bear..."

Song Heping also saw this and couldn't help but shake his head with a wry smile.

Disaster Star really had a huge appetite.

On his first day, he had devoured fifteen pounds of lamb legs and three loaves of bread.

Initially, the cook thought it was because of his excellent cooking skills.

Later, he realized it was because Disaster Star ate so much.

It was like a starving ghost had reincarnated.

Every al was no less than fifteen pounds of lamb.

And he wouldn't eat any other kind of at.

He wouldn't even glance at Salla at.

The freezer could hold one hundred pounds of lamb which normally lasted five people a week with so to spare.

After Disaster Star arrived, it was emptied in only three days.

Fortunately, the Defense Company was financially stable for the ti being; otherwise, feeding him would be unsustainable.

Song Heping looked at his watch, it was now 7:30 AM.

In two hours, they had to head to the Hassan Oil Field.

The past few days of preparations had been incredibly hectic.

Purchasing arms everywhere, buying vehicles.

Today, they finally had everything ready.

In addition, they had to process visas and arm permits for the newly recruited 60 local Illiguo rcenaries.

Since the Green Zone was a particularly sensitive security area divided into several sections, each with different security pass levels.

For safety reasons, carrying guns in Illiguo also required legal permits; otherwise, encountering the coalition forces at checkpoints or patrol teams without presenting proper docuntation could lead them to shoot without bearing any responsibility given their high-strung nature.

Now, Song Heping felt that hiring Ferrari as a chef with a monthly salary of twenty thousand dollars was absolutely worth it; if not for his connections in the United Security Council, none of this could have been achieved so quickly.

Sayif's five million dollar bonus, six hundred thousand went to each of the five participants, leaving two million dollars for operations. Wood Energy Company's monthly security paynt of nine hundred thousand was paid upfront with a twenty percent deposit, easing the financial pressure significantly.

When Song Heping was developing the operation plan, he checked the past three months' reports on oil field attacks and local security conditions and realized that the Wood Company's nine hundred thousand dollars was not easy to earn.

The northern region had two key oil fields, a smaller one called Hassan and a larger one, now under Wood Company's five-year operations contract.

It appeared to be a lucrative deal, but when Song Heping saw the analysis of the security situation and ard forces, it practically fried his CPU.

Besides the provisional governnt and the coalition forces, there were three factions of rebels in that area.

One was supported by local turkeys, the Kurdish Ard.

Another was Mad Dog's forr governnt army's Suicide Squad.

And the most complex was the Autonomous Alliance.

The last had the most complex composition because they internally had over a dozen factions, so opposed to Mad Dog but also detesting the coalition, influenced by Persia's powers, or were local tribal ard forces solely focused on their own patch of land, lacking broader political ambitions.

Another, the most troubleso part, consisted of extre factions. They were the fiercest in battle, the most radical in beliefs, favoring IEDs and car bombs, believing in earning virgins in heaven.

This faction despised all other local ard factions in Illiguo, considering them as the true traitors. Therefore, anyone caught by them would be killed without exception, and their thod of killing, direct beheading on video, was the most brutal.

In such a war-torn land, even if buried under gold, it was doubtful anyone could unearth and take it away.

Relying on just sixty people was actually very difficult when facing off against ard factions that could number in the hundreds; even if they could hold their ground, the cost would be severe.

The good news was that Wood Company had hired two rcenary groups this ti to provide security services.

The Hassan and Cook Oil Fields were not far from each other, and if one field had an issue, the other could dispatch mobile troops for reinforcent.

Beyond that, they could also directly call in the coalition forces stationed about 100 kiloters away in Titrit for support, as well as the military's A10 Warthog Attack Aircraft and even the AC-130 Gunship.

If the two rcenary groups could hold out for about an hour, air support would definitely arrive.

With complete air superiority, once the coalition's aircraft arrived, those militants would definitely flee.

The bad news was that another rcenary group stationed in the Cook Oil Field area was the old nesis "Mad Dog" Lars-led British "Mad Dog" rcenary Corps.

By nine o'clock, just as he was about to leave, Song Heping received an overseas call on his phone.

At a glance at the number, his brows imdiately furrowed.

It was an unfamiliar phone number, and from the area code it seed to be from his sister's county.

Due to economic reasons, communication between the siblings had always been Song Heping calling back ho; since international calls were expensive, his frugally living sister would never make the call herself.

If she had called, it certainly ant sothing serious had happened.

He quickly found a secluded corner and answered the call.

His sister's slightly anxious voice ca through the phone.

"Big brother, last night the police ca looking for to ask about you."

"What?"

Although Song Heping was baffled, he vaguely felt that sothing was wrong and even had a hunch that it definitely had sothing to do with his previous involvent in catching Sayif that made the newspapers.

In fact, Song Heping had always felt like a sword hanging over his head because of this.

You should know, being a rcenary was a legal gray area dostically, and the regulations were also ambiguous; that is, if one joined and engaged in the rcenary industry through proper procedures in a country where it was legalized without involving any cri, criminal liability could be avoided.

But exactly what counts as legal, and what doesn't count as illegal?

That was the gray area.

Before, he had killed so many people during operations.

Was that illegal?

He wasn't sure either.

"What did they ask?"

"Not much, they just asked if you were working abroad, trying to understand so of your circumstances. I told them you were doing business overseas, but they seed skeptical… Also, our second brother called , saying that soone ca to his school looking for him, asking the sa questions…"

"Damn! It's ti to leave!"

The chef shouted from beside the car, poking at his wristwatch.

Song Heping glanced at the ti; indeed, it was ti to go.

He hurriedly instructed his sister, "Next ti they ask, just say I'm definitely overseas, but you're not sure what job I'm doing, understand?"

He didn't want to involve his sister, even if it ant disconnecting from his siblings should anything happen to him.

"Later you call our second brother and tell him to say the sa if anyone asks. Okay, I can't talk now, I have to go make a delivery, I'll call you when I'm free. Do not call . Also, I will transfer so money to you; use it to pay off our family's debts."

"Brother…"

Before his sister could ask further, he had already ended the conversation and turned off his phone, running toward the chef and the others.

"Alright, I'm here!"
