Andre continued to gather his people; the fight with Djo Malthael wasn’t a battle that could be finished in a day, nor was gathering manpower a task that could be completed quickly.

As for Gao Yang, he temporarily had nothing to do. The five An-32 planes needed to fly to Somalia, but this required finding pilots and waiting for Andre to gather the team, as well as clearing the way, which couldn’t be done in just a couple of days.

Since there wasn’t much to do, Gao Yang decided to take justice into his own hands.

When the tree falls, the monkeys scatter. Mogilevich was dead, and his underlings would either take over and continue fighting or flee quickly, so whatever was to be done, needed to be done imdiately.

Gao Yang didn’t expect to capture all of Mogilevich’s n at once, but he had to try. There might be fools waiting to be taken down; after all, there’s no shortage of people who fail to see the situation clearly.

Since the outbreak of conflict with Mogilevich, the Satan rcenary Corps hadn’t split up. Even when driving, they had to keep a strict sequence—who was in the front, who was in the back, and how far apart to maintain; everything had to be well-organized.

Alyosha drove up front, leading the way. This ti, the person sitting in the car with Gao Yang was not Li Jinfang and Eileen, but Frey.

Li Jinfang, Eileen, and Taylor were in a car up front, with Number Thirteen, Gao Yang, and Frey in a car behind them. Their gear was all close combat weapons, enough to handle any sudden issues, with mutual support available.

During the day in the Kyiv City District, it would be outrageous to wear camouflage or tactical gear with long guns, short cannons, or grenades dangling everywhere. So during daylight, Gao Yang and his team switched to plain clothes, carrying only basic weapons. Of course, even if they didn’t carry weapons on themselves, there would always be so in the car.

Gao Yang was resting his eyes. He had been overwheld with tasks these past two days, busy both day and night, unable even to get a peaceful sleep. The calls he received ca from all over the world, just like he never considered the ti difference when calling others, others didn’t consider it when calling him.

Arrangents for Somalia had to be made; coordination was needed. The Skull Gang urgently needed to prepare to attack Berbera. Free rcenaries hired by Satan had to gather and plan battle deploynts. Connections in Syria needed to be established for a place for Satan’s planes to refuel, and Polovich also needed to be contacted. In general, Gao Yang’s phone almost never stopped ringing; it was bound to ring again after a short while.

The phone rang once more. Gao Yang, eyes still closed, fished out his phone and answered directly, saying, "Hi, Morgan."

"Did you receive the money? No issues, right?"

"No issues with the money. I received it and have distributed it. Morgan, about that additional loan, have you given it any thought?"

Morgan said solemnly, "No loan. War loans must have a limit; it’s not a war I must be involved in. No need to take such a big risk. I’m calling you not for that, Gao, I’ve found out where Oleg Yonov is."

It took Gao Yang a mont to recall who Morgan was talking about. After thinking for a bit, he suddenly rembered and said, "Oh, you’re talking about the university professor who collects guns. Great, you found him so quickly! So, what’s the result? Do you have the lead you wanted?"

Morgan replied in a dejected tone, "No, the result is not good. He’s dead."

Gao Yang was taken aback: "Ah, dead?"

"Yes, dead. He died this year, less than three months ago."

Gao Yang sighed, utterly helpless, and said, "He couldn’t have died at a worse ti."

Morgan, equally frustrated, said, "Tell about it. If he hadn’t died, I could’ve shown him the photo and asked if he’d seen the shotgun I’m looking for, but now he’s dead, and that’s out of the question. However, it wasn’t entirely without a gain. His wife said that when they left Kiev for Arica, they couldn’t bring his gun collection, so Oleg sold nearly all of them, while the remaining very few were stolen. This actually aligns with what that thief said."

Gao Yang laughed, "Well, that counts as a lead. His wife must know who he sold the guns to, right?"

Morgan said, frustrated, "And that’s the issue. She doesn’t know. Oleg sold the guns to three people; she only knows one was a foreigner, another was a Ukrainian living not far from them—possibly a factory director or manager. The third identity is clear; it was a known collector in Ukraine, but he’s also dead. His son inherited the estate, and Simon already checked their ho. The gun wasn’t there."

Gao Yang said, exasperated, "The useful ones have no nas, and the useless ones do. What kind of lead is this?"

Morgan fell silent for a mont before saying in a solemn voice, "I’m considering giving up. It seems like God doesn’t want to retrieve that gun. A person’s life can’t be perfectly fulfilled in every way. I’ve achieved everything I wanted except for finding that gun. Maybe it’s just that God wants my greatest wish to beco my greatest regret."

Gao Yang said firmly, "Morgan, giving up is not like you."

Morgan sighed deeply, "I am willing to give everything for that gun, but now the issue is, even when I do, I see no hope. Gao, the clues we have from Oleg are only slightly promising at best. Just think, we’re struggling to find the whereabouts of a single collector, not the gun itself. And a collector who never reveals his collection to the outside world, or an heir who only has one or two guns in the household—there are at least tens of thousands of such individuals in the world."

Gao Yang laughed, "Morgan, you’re just temporarily unable to see hope. It doesn’t an there’s no hope at all. There might be tens of thousands of people with antique guns hidden in their hos, but we know the gun you’re looking for is in Kiev. You’ve already checked the known collectors in Kiev, and finding even a few hidden ones now would be a victory. Even if we don’t have a clear goal, elimination is also a significant gain, don’t you think? Don’t be discouraged; there’s an old saying in Huaxia, ’Good things co to those who wait.’"

Morgan sighed, saying, "I’m just a bit frustrated, but I won’t truly give up the search. I’ve been looking for that gun my entire life; it’s beco a part of , and I’m quite accustod to disappointnt. I called to tell you this, and besides, if you think it’s necessary, call , and I’ll send soone to assist you."

Gao Yang laughed, "Alright, I’ll keep helping you look. Don’t send anyone over for now. You might be right; maybe God doesn’t want your life to be too perfect, so He won’t let you find that gun on your own. So let handle it for now. If I confirm that the trail is cold, you can send soone then." (To be continued. If you like this work, you are welco to vote for recomndations and monthly tickets on Qidian.
