The battle continued, and sotis Gao Yang could vaguely hear the whistling sounds overhead, which were fighter jets guarding him from above.

The T-84s have explosive reactive armor, which is not very effective against armor-piercing bullets but is particularly effective against armor-piercing shells and fragntation shells. Since the warheads of rocket launchers and anti-tank missiles are primarily armor-piercing shells, the top-attack anti-tank missiles might do okay, but the direct-fire rocket launchers cannot penetrate the armor of the T-84 tanks.
Weapons are dead, but people are alive, and you fight with whatever weapons you have. Even if there are no weapons, one must not surrender.
Amid the worries, finally ca the attack tide of a regint-level armored unit.
Tanks don’t co along the roads. When Gao Yang returned to the rooftop and saw tanks charging, he shouted in the radio, “Tanks!”
Gao Yang had Kornet anti-tank missiles, these missiles were very advanced and very powerful. However, the ones Gao Yang had were Kornet-MR anti-tank missiles, which are a man-portable version exclusively developed by Russia for infantry, with half the weight and range of the regular Kornet, yet claid to maintain potency, although the true effect had never been tested by anyone prior.

Gao Yang was anxious but helpless. The characteristics of technical weapons would not change with human will. The more anxious you are, the worse the handling of anti-tank missiles is.
The tanks kept advancing. Although the T-84 can fire on the move, no tank would actually fire at high speed; they always stop before firing, so their rate of fire isn’t so fast. The machine cannons of the armored vehicles posed a greater threat.
At this point, after four consecutive flashes, four tanks were hit by anti-tank missiles. Another flash followed, with all five missiles hitting their targets.
Although all targets were hit, the destructive effect was uncertain. The Kornet missiles were claid to penetrate explosive reactive armor and still punch through a thousand milliters of homogeneous armor. But data is one thing; if all missiles perford as claid, there would be no armor in the world that couldn’t be penetrated by anti-tank missiles.
Test data is obtained under ideal experintal conditions, while the battlefield environnt is much more complex. Besides, Russian weapons always tend to exaggerate their data. The actual penetration depth of the Kornet missiles is uncertain. After firing all five missiles, though all hit, explosions followed, and three tanks stopped moving and soon underwent secondary explosions, while the other two moved again quickly.
The anti-tank missiles were gone, and three tanks remained to be dealt with, along with at least twenty armored vehicles.
Gao Yang sighed, and said in a deep voice, “Rocket launchers, forward!”
After speaking, Gao Yang gritted his teeth and said, “Destroy a tank for one million US dollars, destroy an armored vehicle for one hundred thousand US dollars!”
This was a life-or-death stance.
Using rocket launchers to attack T-84Ms with explosive reactive armor, and under the escort of over twenty armored vehicles and many infantry, was impossible without a desperate stance.
Gao Yang had large-caliber rocket launchers, but watching the flashes that rose and fell, watching the tongues of fire from the armored vehicles, and the muzzle flashes from the rifles, Gao Yang knew just how challenging it would be to take down those tanks—difficult indeed.
No weapon is invincible, nor is any omnipotent. However, the enemy tanks were on a suitable battlefield under reasonable protection, making the remaining three tanks seemingly invincible.

A tank fired a shell, hitting the wall of what was currently the field hospital again.
Gao Yang shouted, “Team two, co with ! Destroy a tank for five million dollars, destroy an armored vehicle for five hundred thousand dollars!”

The threat from the tanks was imminent. If Gao Yang had a large number of anti-tank missiles or a large force capable of cutting off the tanks from infantry and armored vehicles, he could fight this battle. But right now, he had none of that.
