Capítulo 1701: Chapter 1680: Reorganizing the Black Demon

Gao Yang’s original plan was to talk with Pavlovich for five minutes, at most only five minutes, but once he started talking, he couldn’t stop. After talking for a whole half-hour, Gao Yang had to forcibly end the conversation. The adrenaline rush was too strong, and he feared Pavlovich would be too agitated to handle it.

Speaking of engaging in a conspiracy targeting a certain country, or rather a group of countries, with the identity of rcenaries, not seeking occupation, only aiming to gain the maximum benefit when the ti is right, Pavlovich beca excited the mont Gao Yang just hinted at it.

Black Demon, known as the world’s only all-round unit, true in its versatility, excelled at subversion, adept at assassination, unafraid of frontal assaults, and although intelligence work was an understatent, they excelled at it nonetheless.

The Soviet Union, with its national strength, cultivated one Black Demon, and though the Soviet Union is gone and Black Demon aged, the legend continues.

The current Black Demon can now be declared completely disbanded because Black Demon is down to just two people.

Of course, in normal terms, Black Demon was long since dismantled from the day the Soviet Union dissolved, but even when it lost its official status, this team still existed.

As long as the people remain, the team remains.

But now, even the people of Black Demon are gone.

At the end of the battle, Black Demon was originally left with three people, including an old man nad Telekin, who eventually died from his severe injuries. This left Black Demon with only two people, a once-glorious team reduced to two people, by any ans considered completely finished.

However, even though the Black Demon unit has co to an end, the legend is bound to continue because two people remain.

Certain teams, certain people, even if only one remains, can still achieve earth-shattering deeds, and the surviving Pavlovich and Hamr of Black Demon clearly belong to this category.

After a detailed discussion with Pavlovich about his arrangents in Yen and possible future upheavals in the Middle East, Pavlovich enthusiastically beca a teacher for Gao Yang, wanting to teach Gao Yang what to do now.

If Pavlovich weren’t still in a critical period, Gao Yang would have listened carefully, but he dared not let Pavlovich continue talking.

Gao Yang is soone who follows dical advice, yet he couldn’t bear to interrupt Pavlovich, because previously Pavlovich, like Hamr, believed that dying was more fitting than living on. But after learning that Gao Yang intended to invite him to oversee a grand national strategy, Pavlovich seed to have suddenly co alive.

It’s that kind of having lost a sense of existence, only to suddenly find a sense of purpose in life again.

Gao Yang stood by Pavlovich’s bedside, watching Pavlovich, whose complexion was rosy and breathing sowhat rapid, and whispered, “Hamr is in Germany. He has recovered well. Once your situation improves, I will send you to Germany, and when your body fully recovers, you can go to Yen. So don’t rush now, take good care of yourself, you have plenty of ti to consider how to proceed with future tasks. Now I can no longer talk more with you, you need to rest.”

Pavlovich looked at Gao Yang and said rapidly, “I’m still fine, listen to , go publish an ad in the Russian Labor Newspaper with the title ‘Russian Black Farmstead Reopening, Urgently Seeking Collaborators’, signed Kavasily Gorando Ben, then leave your phone number, that’s all.”

What Pavlovich said was in Russian, and after Gao Yang pondered it carefully, he looked at Pavlovich and asked, “What do you an? What’s the purpose?”

Pavlovich exclaid excitedly, “Reassemble Black Demon!”

Gao Yang’s heart pounded, then he whispered, “Reassemble Black Demon?”

“Yes, reassemble Black Demon!”

Pavlovich nodded gently, took a deep breath, and whispered, “When Black Demon was disbanded, we were all unwilling, but our inaction let the situation beco irreversible, so we had no choice but to accept disbandnt and being sent ho, but so of us felt things couldn’t just end like this.”

Gao Yang didn’t speak; he was very excited but stayed quiet and listened to Pavlovich finish.

Pavlovich, still having so difficulty speaking, rested for a mont before continuing with labored breaths, “We all thought there might be a day when things could change, so we planned that if the situation changed, we’d co out and do sothing together again, so so of us made an agreent on a way to contact, by publishing such an ad in the Labor Newspaper.”

Sighing, Pavlovich whispered, “So people went to new units, so went ho, over twenty years have gone by, the Soviet Union has beco a mory, and no one has ever published that ad in a newspaper. It was actually expected, because when we made the agreent we knew the Soviet Union was gone for good, we made this agreent just because we didn’t want to accompany the Soviet Union into history, we rely harbored fantasies, known to be fantasies.”

Gao Yang whispered, “Then about you and those fallen brothers…”

Pavlovich smiled slightly and whispered, “We did not gather for the sa goal, we just regrouped to find sothing to do because we were bored. Do you understand the difference?”

Gao Yang nodded, and Pavlovich smiled contentedly, then with a touch of fervor said, “I don’t know how many are still alive, or how many could see that ad, but I think we should try, whether to fight the Butter Knife or exert ourselves in Yen. I think, perhaps Black Demon can still try to do sothing, our ti is running out, we’re old, dying soon, maybe there are so who, like , don’t wish to die in a hospital bed.”

Gao Yang’s heart was pounding hard, and he whispered, “How many do you think can be gathered, and if soone does call , what should I say?”

Pavlovich laughed, “Give a phone, only I can answer this phone. As for how many we can find, I don’t know, maybe not even one. Besides, nobody really reads a newspaper anymore, but still, we should try, you only know by trying. Newspapers are outdated, but we’re outdated people. Maybe there’s so old-tir like who reads the paper every day, just hoping to see an ad like that.”

Gao Yang exhaled, and gravely said, “I’ll give you a mobile phone, and imdiately place an ad in the Labor Newspaper, continuously, the sa ad daily, until soone starts to contact you.”
