It’s really too difficult to take down Djo.
Satan is formidable and now quite renowned as well, but no matter how powerful Satan is, it’s still just a small rcenary group. Taking on an assassination task depends on who the target is. If it’s an unknown small fry, it’s naturally very simple. But if the target is Djo, then it’s as difficult as climbing to the sky.
Let’s just set aside whether it’s worth mobilizing a rcenary group of Satan’s caliber. If Satan had to eliminate a small fry, they’d just grab a gun and go for it. Even against IS’s Badadi, didn’t Satan just gather their people and went for revenge?
But dealing with Djo, that’s different, very different.
First of all, Djo is an arms tycoon, a giant straddling the line between the black and white worlds. In the underworld, he is a big boss; out in the open, he is also a distinguished guest in many countries. Djo can live peacefully in France, which ans he must have countless intricate ties with the official French governnt.
On French soil, a major country, creating a sensational scene to wipe out Djo with blatant force would truly be a suicidal move. Although France has shown weakness in recent years, if you really think France, this Big Dog, is made of mud and can be bullied, you’re terribly mistaken.
Putting aside France’s influence, just Djo’s own protective forces alone are an almost impenetrable barrier. Let’s put it this way: an arms magnate has money, has people, and his guards are counted in units of hundreds, and they are absolutely the elite of the elite.
Satan, at most ten or so people, even if working for Grand Ivan, can be said to be leaning on Grand Ivan’s support to go against Djo. But no matter how powerful Grand Ivan is, when it cos to directly eliminating Djo, Grand Ivan’s power is of little use, at least it’s not very useful in France.
Everything sounds easy to say but hard to do. Gao Yang wants to take down Djo without losing people from Satan, which ans they need to think of more ways and strive to do their best in the preparation phase.
But trying to prepare everything in a hurry is also too hard.
France is not Grand Ivan’s territory. No matter how vast his Arms Empire, it’s of no use here.
And don’t forget, Djo is also an arms tycoon, a big boss among big bosses, on the sa level as Grand Ivan, and unlike Grand Ivan, Djo sells high-tech, cutting-edge arms, even if the business isn’t as large in scale as Grand Ivan’s.
Therefore, in France, Djo has more arms than Grand Ivan, more advanced arms, more people, and most importantly, the open and covert support of France.
Therefore, Gao Yang and the others, at an absolute nurical disadvantage, can’t seek equipnt superiority.
Now Gao Yang doesn’t even want to think about gaining an advantage in any area; he just hopes to obtain all the necessary equipnt. But even that’s not possible.
Uriyangko, who’s always been suave and successful, can’t keep calm now because Gao Yang’s demands are a bit too high for him.
"You want a big gun? That’s impossible, really impossible."
Uriyangko’s lips developed a blister, grown within just the few hours from picking up Gao Yang to delivering the equipnt.
Grabbing a bottle of water, taking a few big gulps, Uriyangko urgently said, "I can get a mortar, but big-caliber artillery, I really can’t get. Not to ntion in six hours, getting it in six days would be a miracle."
Gao Yang scratched his head, helplessly saying, "I thought you’d say no problem."
Uriyangko waved his hand, saying, "Buddy, a 155mm cannon, where am I going to find one in a hurry, and deliver it to Nice! Do you really think France is that broken?"
Gao Yang waved his hand, looked at Rebrov standing in the corner of the room, and very regretfully said, "What about a plane? Is there any chance?"
"This, no way, you want a fighter jet, buddy, think about it, a fighter jet launching an airstrike in Nice, that’s a scene only from World War III. Even if I could get it, could we use it? Want France to go mad in retaliation against Grand Ivan, forget about it, I can’t get that!"
Gao Yang stared at Uriyangko, who shrugged with a bitter smile, and Gao Yang sighed, saying, "In the end, we have to stick to our previous plan. Your presence is of no help, right?"
Uriyangko felt his dignity challenged, he jumped up, pointing at the room piled high with guns, rocket launchers, crates of fake dicine, mines, grenades, night vision devices, and bulletproof vests, pointing at each in turn, and angrily said, "Would you be able to get these without coming!"
Gao Yang rubbed his chin, helplessly saying, "But it’s still just small stuff, you should’ve gotten us sothing big with enough firepower."
Swallowing his spit, Uriyangko helplessly said, "Buddy, the reason you and not I or others are here to take out Djo is because you’ve been planning for a long ti, and because you are capable! Creating miracles, isn’t that your specialty, sothing others can’t handle."
"Complints don’t work on ."
Unwilling to take the high hat thrown by Uriyangko, Gao Yang pondered for a mont, then said softly, "Actually, we have another plan, which can be accomplished with civilian equipnt: find a helicopter and drop a bomb from above! A homade bomb, what do you think of that?"
Uriyangko was startled for a mont, loudly said, "Dropping fake dicine from a helicopter? Is that possible? A civilian helicopter can definitely be found, we have plenty of fake dicine, but do you think this attack thod would be effective?"
Gao Yang sighed, shaking his head, "Not very useful! A helicopter flying overhead, it can’t drop bombs from a high altitude, it has to be low or even ultra-low. That’s very risky, and doing so requires you to accurately drop the bomb onto Djo’s head. But once an aircraft approaches, he’ll notice it well in advance. From finding the target, confirming the target, dropping the bomb, to safely leaving, none of these steps are reliable."
Uriyangko, dissatisfied, said, "Then why did you even ntion finding a helicopter."
Gao Yang pointed to Djo’s villa, sighing, "Buddy, look over there. Based on our current ans, what hope do we have of ensuring Djo’s elimination?"
Uriyangko fell silent.
Rubbing his hands, Gao Yang loudly said, "At present, let’s proceed according to our previous plan, Uri, quickly find a ship, the sailors must be reliable, or arrange for soone to silence them. The production of the rciless Cannon must be completed within six hours. I don’t care how you do it, it must be done. If none of these can be provided, we really have no chance whatsoever."
Uriyangko’s mouth twitched, softly saying, "First, Djo really needs to co here."
Gao Yang raised his binoculars, saying, "Perhaps he won’t co, but we must assu he will. Being prepared and not needing it is always better than needing it and not being prepared. Buddy, go prepare."
