“Lady Xuanyuan, I have another matter to discuss with you today,” Song Lingbo stated, his gaze fixed on her.
Seeing this, Feng Jiu smiled and asked, “Are you wondering who I truly am?”
Song Lingbo nodded solemnly. “Precisely. I’m deeply curious about Lady Xuanyuan’s identity. Beyond re curiosity, I also fear that the Cheng family won’t let this rest. I hope you’ll reveal your background so I can prepare myself ntally.”
His desire to know her identity stemd partly from curiosity, but more so from apprehension about the Cheng family returning.
