Yue’er observed him. Though they stood together in such a beautiful place, he seed profoundly unhappy. Even she could sense that loneliness radiating from him.
After a mont’s thought, she asked, “Big Brother Xiao, are you unhappy?”
“No,” Xiao Junyan replied, shifting his gaze from the rainbow bridge to her. “Just a bit downhearted. All these years, you’re the only person I’ve felt truly at ease with. That’s why I thought of inviting you when I decided to travel.”
He sighed softly. “I didn’t think it through. Your master won’t agree.”
“Big Brother Xiao, don’t you have a communication jade token? Once my master allows us to go out and gain experience, I’ll send you a ssage!” She flashed a bright smile. “But if I do go out, my two Senior Brothers will definitely co with !”

“Big Brother Xiao, I should be going too. See you tomorrow,” Yue’er said, waving at him.
