Seeing this, Yue’er’s eyes darted about. She swiftly gathered the items from the table, grabbed the food box, and left. Outside, she handed the box to a celestial maiden to return to the kitchen, then headed toward the Rainbow Bridge.

Yue’er stepped onto the gentle breeze, spread her arms, and flew toward the Rainbow Bridge. Spotting Xiao Junyan standing upon it, she smiled, waved, and called out, “Big Brother Xiao!”
Xiao Junyan turned slightly to watch her land on the bridge before asking, “Finished your errands?”
“Yes. I brought food for Master. After he finished eating, I ca straight here.” Perhaps it was the words of her Big Brother and her Father, or the conversation with Mother last night, but she felt strangely awkward facing him now.
“Didn’t you used to call Brother Junyan? Why are you calling Big Brother now?” Xiao Junyan asked, his gaze fixed on her.

As she spoke, she glanced at him again, looking as if she had sothing to say but hesitated.
