Capítulo 5236: Contemplation
“Master…”
She called out, her voice weak and hoarse.
The Azure Emperor patted her hand, speaking gently, “It’s all right now. I’m here.”
“Master, I’m thirsty. I want water.” Her voice was raspy and dry, as if a fire burned within her.
“Alright, just a mont.” With a wave of his hand, the teapot and cup resting on the table flew over, landing steadily beside the bedside. After pouring a cup of water, he said, “Here, Master will help you sit up.”
He lifted her up, propping her against the pillows behind her to sit, then pulled the quilt up higher before offering her the water.
Yue’er tried to reach for it, only to find her arms too weak to even lift.
“Your body is still weak. After lying in bed for over ten days, your strength won’t return imdiately.” With that, he brought the cup to her lips and helped her drink.
When Feng Jiu and Xuanyuan Mo Ze entered, they saw the Azure Emperor feeding Yue’er water. Xuanyuan Mo Ze didn’t think much of it, but Feng Jiu raised an eyebrow. A fleeting, inexplicable light flashed in her eyes as she studied the Azure Emperor.
“Father? Mother?” Yue’er looked at them in surprise. “How did you get here?”
The two exchanged a smile, then approached the bedside. Xuanyuan Mo Ze explained, “Your mother and I were traveling abroad when we sensed sothing had happened to you. We rushed back imdiately.”
Feng Jiu chuckled, “If Mother hadn’t rushed back, do you think this little girl would have woken up at all?”
Yue’er’s face lit up with a delighted smile. “It’s so good to see Father and Mother~”
“Yue’er, you’re so grown up now. Why would you do sothing that worries your parents and your master like this? Do you realize how seriously injured you were this ti?” Xuanyuan Mo Ze, seeing the little girl still smiling, spoke sternly.
“It’s Yue’er fault, sorry, I made you worry.” Seeing her Father’s expression, she lowered her head in guilt.
“Enough. She’s just woken up. Don’t scold her imdiately,” Feng Jiu interjected, retrieving a small vial from her cosmos sack. “This is the Hundred Flowers Spiritual Honey that Mother concocted for you. Drink it—it will benefit you.”
The Azure Emperor took the vial from Feng Jiu, then produced a spoon from his own cosmos sack. He scooped so of the honey onto the spoon before feeding it to Yue’er.
Feng Jiu watched from the side, casting an extra glance at the Azure Emperor but saying nothing.
Xuanyuan Mo Ze, however, noticed and stepped forward. “Is Yue’er still too weak? Let feed her!”
“No need. I can manage,” the Azure Emperor replied, pouring another spoonful of the nectar.
“Mother, this is so delicious!”
Yue’er bead, savoring the floral fragrance of the nectar. Its sweet, cool taste slid down her throat, soothing the fiery heat that had been burning there. A surge of spirit energy coursed through her body, leaving her enveloped in pure comfort.
Feng Jiu smiled and explained, “This is a nectar distilled from a hundred blossoms. Knowing you dislike bitter dicines, I prepared this for you. You can consu it regularly—it benefits your health. I’ll share the recipe later so you may learn to craft it yourself when the ti cos.”
“Thank you, Mother,” Yue’er said with a beaming smile.
Seeing her spirits lift, the Azure Emperor’s lips curved slightly, his expression softening.
Feng Jiu, watching from the side, took note of his expression and pondered silently…
