"First things first—move the guild base underground!"
While a quick retreat would be the safest choice, the allure of resources in the Nether was just too tempting for the Cloudsky Guild to resist. Besides, they knew next to nothing about this dinsion. The guild mbers had no idea the Nether Fortress could even be accessed through such a simple thod as portal casting.
Even if they figured that out, there was no guarantee they'd find another Nether Fortress if they had to start all over again. For now, this portal was their one and only link to that treasure trove of a fortress, so they couldn't just walk away.
Riches co with risk, and both Yun Li and Yun Feng weren't about to give up on those spoils anyti soon. They decided to move the guild base underground, making their presence less obvious. If HIM ca around, maybe they wouldn't stand out too much.
After discussing plans with Yun Feng, Yun Li gathered so high-ranking guild mbers and a group of elite players who'd signed on for this trip. As soon as they entered the Nether, Xu Yuan's clone stationed by the portal sensed their presence. He stayed hidden until they moved further away, then revealed himself to take a peek.
"A guild here too?" Xu Yuan mused, noticing the guild tags above their heads. He'd assud that only solo players would venture this far in, but it seed he was wrong.
"Guess there's a good chance to rack up so kill points," he thought, excitent creeping into his grin. But these guys couldn't be taken out right away—it'd be a waste. He needed them to lead him to their base first.
With this in mind, Xu Yuan directed his clone to follow the Cloudsky Guild. After an hour or so of tailing, the guild finally stopped in front of a Nether Fortress.
"Is this the location the vice president sent us?"
"Yeah! Damn, look at this place—it's impressive!"
"No wonder there's so much loot to be had here."
Upon arrival, the guild leaders quickly ssaged Yun Li, who soon erged from within the fortress. He looked a bit irritated.
"What took you guys so long?"
The guild leaders winced, explaining, "We couldn't help it. The Nether's tough to navigate, and there are so many mobs…"
It was their first ti here, and they'd moved cautiously. Yun Li, seeing their apprehension, decided to let it go.
"I've marked so spots nearby where Wither Skeletons spawn. There are stone markers, and I've set up a small shed. Split up and start grinding there."
He divided the rest into two groups: one to gather Nether bricks and another to explore the fortress with him.
Xu Yuan, observing from afar, couldn't help but sigh. "Looks like I'll have to wait a bit longer for those kill points…"
This bunch was obviously here for a long grind. Xu Yuan couldn't just swoop in and wipe them out. He'd have to let them clear the fortress first, then follow them back to their base. So, he commanded his clone to lay low and hide.

Luckily, his hunting ground was far from where the Cloudsky Guild was stationed, so he didn't have to worry about getting spotted. With Plunder II, the drop rate was noticeably better, though it still took him nearly an hour to collect three Wither Skeleton skulls.
"Can't I just catch a break?" Xu Yuan muttered to himself, frustrated at the grind. "I've spent enough ti here to build a whole Wither Skeleton farm!"
Even with Plunder II, his luck was terrible. It had taken nearly three hours to gather three skulls. He shook his head, feeling like the universe's biggest anti-luck magnet.
"Ah… getting a flying skill is no easy feat..."

It's not an easy fight, especially since the Wither can fly, making it hard for players to land a hit. And as it blasts away the landscape, dodging gets tougher. Once it's at half health, it gains immunity to ranged attacks, forcing players into close combat. On top of that, every ti it takes damage, it blasts a 3x3x3 area around itself, making it even trickier.
While many players consider the Wither tougher than the Ender Dragon, so clever tactics make it possible to beat it without taking damage. The easiest thod involves digging a long, deep tunnel and summoning the Wither in a tight, enclosed space made of obsidian or end stone—blocks tough enough to withstand the explosions. This setup prevents the Wither from moving or flying, making it easy to pick off with a bow at first, then switching to a sword for close-range strikes once it's at half health.
Xu Yuan, however, had no need for such tricks. He'd already leveled up his Deadly Axe to level 5, allowing him to deal damage equal to 100% of an enemy's max HP with a single blow. All he needed to do was wait for the Wither's invincibility to fade, teleport in, and finish it in one hit.
He set up the soul sand in a T-shape and carefully placed the three Wither Skeleton skulls. As soon as he set down the last skull, the heads began to animate, and the soul sand below morphed into the Wither's body. Its form expanded, its HP bar filling as it reached full health.
Xu Yuan watched quietly from the side, knowing it was invincible for now. When its HP maxed out, a familiar sound effect rang through the air, signaling that the Wither was about to attack. It took off into the air, launching Wither heads that would explode on impact, and if they killed anything, they left behind a Wither Rose as a twisted parting gift.
The mont the Wither locked onto him, Xu Yuan acted. With a quick teleport, he appeared beside it, iron axe in hand, and swung straight down. The Wither's HP bar vanished in an instant, defeated before it had the chance to even get going.
