"Finally got the flying skill!!!"
Seeing that he'd acquired the coveted flying skill after taking down the Wither, Xu Yuan was ecstatic.
Sure, the other skills from defeating the Wither were impressive too. But to him, nothing was as priceless as the ability to fly.
With the flying skill in hand, Xu Yuan's efficiency would skyrocket.
He checked on his clone's viewpoint again. Seeing that the Cloud Soaring Guild still hadn't called it a day, Xu Yuan rolled up his sleeves and started building several massive mob towers.
The best choice for mob towers was the Zombie Pign Spawner Tower. The spawning conditions were simple; any two-block-high space in the Nether could work, without even needing light levels. Zombie Pign spawned faster than most other mobs, making them ideal for efficient farming.
Building a Zombie Pign spawner tower was straightforward too. Just use turtle eggs to lure the Pign in, then take them down in batches.
This ti, Xu Yuan was more cautious—he decided to build the spawner tower atop the Nether's bedrock layer. Since other players were venturing into the Nether, building it elsewhere might make it too easy for them to find.
"Ugh… another big project," he sighed.
Even with the flying skill, setting up a mob tower was still a massive task. But it was necessary; the previous, smaller mob tower was no longer cutting it.
Ever since the last monster control upgrade, he needed an intimidating level of deterrence to keep up—upwards of one million points. His previous tower, with a re output of 50,000 per hour, was simply inadequate.
Xu Yuan steeled himself, took a deep breath, and dove into the work, determined to see it through.

In a remote location, far from the Cloud Soaring Guild's base…
A group of Glory Guild players stumbled upon a stone chamber while mining. The room was enormous, resembling a fortified military base.
As they explored the stronghold, they discovered an eerie stone chamber with a bizarre setup in its center—a staircase leading to a square formation of twelve yellow-green altar-like blocks surrounding a lava pool. Among these altars, four were slightly different, each holding an eyeball placed at odd angles, making the whole thing look ominously mysterious.
Upon finding this strange altar, the players reported it imdiately to their guild leader, Cang Long. Within half an hour, Cang Long arrived with his team, their excitent barely contained.
"This... feels like so kind of sacrificial ritual, doesn't it?" soone mused.
"Yeah. See those eyeballs? Maybe if we place more of them, it'll trigger sothing."
"These eyeballs… don't they look like Enderman drops?" another chid in.
"They do, but Endern drop round pearls. This one's slit-shaped, like a cat's eye..."
"So, where do we even get more of these?"
As the higher-ups discussed, the player who discovered the room stepped forward, taking out two eyeballs from his bag and handing them to Cang Long.
"Found these in a chest while searching around."
Cang Long examined the eyeballs closely. "Ender's Eye… not the Ender Pearl… maybe it's crafted from the Pearl and sothing else?"
Hearing this, the guild mbers shrugged, all equally baffled. This ga had no crafting guide and no walkthroughs; everything was left for players to figure out.
After a mont's thought, Cang Long walked to the altar and reached for one of the eyes already in place. He was surprised to find he could actually pick it up.
"Research how to craft this Ender's Eye," he instructed his team. "And search this chamber and beyond for more rooms like this. If these co with the chamber, there might be more around."
---
anwhile, deep within the ga's wilderness, a diamond-clad zombie and a black-collared wolf strolled side by side. The zombie plucked an eyeball from its socket and threw it into the distance. The wolf, in a flash, pounced, catching the eyeball mid-air with a snap.
But as the wolf landed, there was a quick gulp, and the eyeball vanished.
The zombie panicked, letting out a distressed growl. "Rooaaar!"
It rushed over to the wolf, shaking it urgently. The wolf, however, wagged its tail excitedly, its tongue flopping out of its mouth, looking very pleased with itself.
The zombie tried to pry the wolf's mouth open, desperate to retrieve its eye. The mischievous wolf flicked its tongue, and the missing eyeball dropped right out.
Overjoyed, the zombie reinserted the eyeball and patted the wolf on the head. The wolf rolled over, belly up, inviting the zombie to give it a good scratch.
The two of them continued their ga, exchanging strange, guttural sounds that seed almost like a language. They might've been talking, though no one could understand them. But it was obvious they were having a blast.
Suddenly, the pair stopped, sensing sothing nearby. They quickly ducked into a bush, just as a group of players passed through the clearing.
"This forest is ideal for grinding mobs."
"Yeah, we set up a mob farm here, and it'd work day and night."
"Let's let the guild leader know and get building."
---
The players were from the Eternal Guild, a subsidiary of the number-one guild, Eternal Glory. Being the top guild, Eternal Glory naturally had several subsidiary guilds—Eternal and Glory among them.
Each guild base was positioned in different regions, expanding their influence from east to west, and north. Eternal Glory, already at Level 3 with 50,000 mbers, was a powerhouse. Eternal Guild, though a bit smaller and still Level 2, was determined to expand, hoping to level up soon.
Which explained why the Eternal Guild players were so eager to scout new areas for their mob farms. This forest, dense and secluded, was perfect.
After settling on the location, they headed back to report.
As soon as the coast was clear, the zombie and wolf erged from the shadows. The zombie seed deep in thought as it watched the players leave. After a mont, it crouched down, carefully unbuckling the black collar from the wolf's neck.
"Rooar… roar!" the zombie grunted to the wolf.
"Woof! Woof!" the wolf barked back, seeming to understand.
With a determined glint, the wolf started sniffing the ground, tracking the scent trail the players had left behind.
---
The Eternal Guild players, chatting casually, were on their way back to their guild base. They were almost there, feeling confident in their choice for the new farm site.
