It was a panicked call from Liu Ruolan. "Xiao Bin, Ruoi suffered a Qi deviation at the villa! She’s coughing up blood and is unconscious. You have to co save her, quickly!"
"Junior Sister, I have an ergency. I have to go," Zhang Bin said to Tian Bingbing.
He shot up like a spring. In a single step, he was on the balcony, and then he leaped straight down.
"Ah!" Tian Bingbing was nearly scared to death.
They were on the ninth floor, a dizzying height. Only a Golden Core Realm Expert capable of Sword Control could survive such a fall; anyone else would be reduced to a bloody pulp.
She leaped up and rushed to the balcony. What she saw next was a scene she would never forget for the rest of her life.
Zhang Bin’s body seed weightless, drifting lightly downward as if crossing the void. His black hair and clothes billowed in the wind. Like a bird, he soared over a dozen ters to land on a tall banyan tree. With a gentle tap of his feet, he dissipated the imnse force of his descent and bounced off, continuing his smooth fall.
He landed on a willow tree, its branches dipping under his weight before catapulting him high into the air. He landed gracefully on another willow, bouncing from tree to tree until he vanished into the night.
My God, how powerful has Senior Brother beco? It’s only been two months, how could he have made such incredible progress? How is this possible? Tian Bingbing was so stunned she was practically stupefied, her face a mask of utter astonishnt.
In truth, Zhang Bin had just used his Telekinesis Special Ability. By applying it to himself, he had drastically reduced his own weight. At full power, he could lift objects weighing over a hundred pounds, though not for very long. This made him nearly weightless for the jump; otherwise, a fall from that height would have surely injured him.
Soon, Zhang Bin landed on the ground and started to sprint furiously.
WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!
He shot forward like a sharp arrow, moving at an unbelievable speed, many tis faster than a car. Passers-by would rely glimpse a blur and hear a gust of wind as he shot past, his figure completely unseen. After all, Zhang Bin’s speed had reached a terrifying seventy ters per second, over 250 kiloters per hour. This was far faster than any car, which was precisely why he hadn’t bothered to drive.
In less than ten minutes, Zhang Bin arrived at Liu Ruolan’s villa and burst into Liu Ruoi’s room.
To his surprise, Liu Ruolan wasn’t in the room; she wasn’t even in the villa. He had no idea how she knew Liu Ruoi had suffered a Qi deviation and fallen unconscious.
Liu Ruoi had indeed suffered a severe Qi deviation. She now lay on the bed, continuously bleeding from her mouth. Terrifyingly, not only was she unconscious, but her breathing was also faint. If no one had found her, she would have certainly died in a short ti.
A chill went through Zhang Bin’s heart. He realized for the first ti just how dangerous cultivation could be.
He rushed over, a Pine Needle instantly appearing in his hand. He swiftly inserted it into Liu Ruoi’s lower abdon. He began to channel his Longevity Qi into her, carefully examining her condition.
His expression turned grave. Liu Ruoi’s Qi deviation was extrely severe. She had been trying to break through her seventh ridian when sothing went horribly wrong, causing the ridian itself to explode. Many acupoints had been torn open, and blood was flowing out continuously. This ridian extended all the way to her head, making the situation extrely dangerous. Any further delay would allow a massive amount of blood to accumulate in vital parts of her head, creating life-threatening pressure.
Even for a Divine Doctor like Zhang Bin, such an injury was daunting.
Fortunately, he had now cultivated to the Mid Stage of the Qi Sea Realm. His True Qi was profound, and his control over it had reached a state of perfection. Otherwise, one single careless move could damage the nerves in her brain. It was entirely possible he could leave her a complete imbecile.
He carefully channeled a re whisper of Longevity Qi to repair the broken ridians and acupoints while simultaneously stopping the bleeding. This first step alone left him gasping for breath.
The second step was even more challenging: he had to slowly guide all the pooled blood out of her body. He had to ensure none remained within the ridians, especially not in her head, otherwise Liu Ruoi would never wake up.
With gritted teeth, he took out a Sword Box from his Space Ring and extracted a Flying Sword. Holding it in his right hand, he gently made an incision on Liu Ruoi’s waist.
Just then, Liu Ruolan rushed back. She now stood at the doorway, her face taut with anxiety. She clamped a hand over her mouth, terrified of making even the slightest sound that might disturb Zhang Bin. A mont ago, she had nearly cried out in surprise upon seeing a Sword Box materialize in Zhang Bin’s hand. It was a sight she simply could not comprehend. Only now did she realize that Zhang Bin was far more mysterious than she ever imagined. He possessed many wondrous abilities that neither she nor Xiao Fang knew about.
With a single stroke, the skin parted, and a jet of blood spurted out. It was, of course, the stagnant blood from within the ridian. At the sa ti, Zhang Bin channeled Longevity Qi to slowly force the clotted blood from her body. The jet of blood continued to spurt out, spattering the bed like countless plum blossom petals.
Finally, Liu Ruoi regained consciousness, her eyes fluttering open. Upon seeing Zhang Bin treating her, a beautiful smile blood on her face.
At last, Zhang Bin forced out all the pooled blood from her body, then channeled Longevity Qi to heal the wound on her waist. Only then, panting heavily, did he remove the Pine Needle and collapse onto Liu Ruoi’s body, unable to move an inch. The mad dash from East Lake Residence, the leap from the building using his Special Ability, and the imdiate, non-stop treatnt had utterly exhausted him.
"Ah!" Liu Ruoi, however, let out a scream. With a forceful shove, she sent Zhang Bin tumbling off the bed, nearly giving him a concussion.
She paid him no mind, instead frantically starting to dress herself.
"Are you that heartless? I save you out of kindness, and you throw off the bed?"
Zhang Bin was so angry he could have spat blood. He tried to get up but couldn’t, so he simply lay on the floor beside the bed, waiting for his spiritual power to recover.
"Sister, how could you do that?" Liu Ruolan could no longer stand by and watch. She rushed in, exclaiming angrily.
"Sister, don’t worry about it," Liu Ruoi said nonchalantly. "He once had his throat cut and still ca back to life. How could such a gentle fall hurt him? He’s just playing dead."
