"You were afraid of hurting him, so you threw him on the floor instead?" Liu Ruolan was furious. "Don’t you realize that if he hadn’t saved you, you’d be a corpse right now?"
"Sis, don’t be mad. I saw my blood had stained the bed, and it was too dirty, so I didn’t want him lying on it," Liu Ruoi said, hopping off the bed. "I’ll change the sheets right now and let him lie on my bed."

The rat was surprisingly bold, having not run away until now. It had been hiding under the wardrobe. Startled, it darted out from its hiding spot and shot under the bed.

Liu Ruoi threw Zhang Bin off the bed again, then frantically flipped up the bed fra and shook it violently.
Once again, Zhang Bin was thrown to the floor, seeing stars. A towering rage ignited within him. This sister-in-law of his was too audacious! If he didn’t teach her a lesson, she’d be walking all over him in the future!
With Liu Ruolan’s help, he sat up cross-legged and began to diligently practice the Pure Heart Mystique to recover his spiritual power. One couldn’t suffer a cultivation deviation from practicing the Pure Heart Mystique, as it was purely a ntal exercise and didn’t involve the circulation of True Qi.

Zhang Bin gave up. He had no idea how to handle a woman like her.
A Pine Needle suddenly appeared in his hand, and he flicked his wrist.
WHOOSH!
The sound was piercing as the Pine Needle transford into a streak of green lightning, instantly piercing the rat’s head. The rat let out a final squeak and fell to the floor, motionless.
"Ahhh...!"
Even with the rat dead, Liu Ruoi continued to scream in terror. Clearly, her fear of rats was pathological.
Liu Ruolan, on the other hand, was surprisingly unafraid. She simply watched from the side, a bemused expression on her face.
Zhang Bin desperately wanted to smash the dead rat in Liu Ruoi’s face to vent his frustration, but he held back, worried he might literally scare her to death. He walked over, opened the window, grabbed the rat by its tail, and flung it far out into the park.
He said irritably, "Look closely. I killed the rat and threw it out. Can you please stop screaming now?"
Liu Ruoi, who was still screaming, finally quieted down. She said, still shaken, "Later, you need to go down, find the rat’s body, and throw it in a trash can. Don’t let it scare any passersby."
"Do you think everyone is as afraid of rats as you are?" Zhang Bin retorted. He then turned, pulled Liu Ruolan into his arms, and said gently, "Sister Lan, you should go get so rest. I need to have a serious talk with Sister i about cultivation precautions and teach her so Secret Techniques."
"Okay. So, will you be sleeping in my room later? My ’relative’ hasn’t left yet," Liu Ruolan asked shyly.
She had gotten her period the day before, and it hadn’t ended yet. She was simply reminding Zhang Bin to spare him any awkwardness later on.
"I’ll probably head back ho later," Zhang Bin said softly, understanding her implication.
As soon as Liu Ruolan left, Zhang Bin locked the door from the inside and advanced on Liu Ruoi. His face was filled with murderous intent and a wicked grin, as if he was about to do sothing terrible.
"What are you trying to do?" Liu Ruoi panicked, backing away steadily.
"What do you think?" Zhang Bin sneered, closing the distance step by step.
Soon, she had nowhere left to retreat. She tripped and fell back onto the bed, crying out in alarm, "Don’t you dare ss with !"
But Zhang Bin was in no mood to listen. Like a hungry Fierce Tiger that had spotted its delicious prey, he pounced with a brutal aura.
