However, the bones in Zhang Bin’s body were simply too hard, causing the Flying Sword’s speed to drop rapidly. Zhang Bin’s hand shot up and snatched the Flying Sword. Terrifying Gang Qi erupted from him, along with a surge of trendous strength. He actually yanked the Flying Sword right out of his own skull!
The jaws of every Cultivator below dropped to the ground. Their eyes widened to their limits, their faces etched with utter disbelief. Si Yangze, in particular, was completely dumbfounded.
How is this possible? A Middle-Grade Flying Sword aid at Zhang Bin’s brow didn’t penetrate him? It was blocked by his bones? Just how hard are his bones? Could they be comparable to a Middle-Grade Magical Treasure? What kind of monster is he?
"This sword isn’t bad. Thanks. Now you can die." Zhang Bin happily examined the Flying Sword in his hand, even as a bone-chilling killing intent radiated from his body.
He stomped down hard with his foot.
CRACK!
Si Yangze’s sternum shattered and his spine snapped. His heart was crushed into a bloody pulp.
"Ah... rcy... Have rcy..." Si Yangze let out a wretched scream that turned into a desperate plea. He had exhausted all his tricks and was truly at his wit’s end, yet he still didn’t want to die.
"Louder. I can’t hear you," Zhang Bin snarled, his voice thick with killing intent. He raised his foot again, this ti pressing it onto Si Yangze’s head.
"Spare ! Spare ! I have many treasures and secrets! For example, I can tell you where I got this Middle-Grade Flying Sword!" Si Yangze yelled, his eyes glinting with cunning. He was a hundred percent certain Zhang Bin wouldn’t kill him. After all, who didn’t love treasures?
"Heh heh... Si Yangze, I’m not interested in your treasures," Zhang Bin said with a cold laugh, and then stomped down.
CRACK!
Si Yangze’s head burst open like a shattered waterlon. The wretched scream ca to an abrupt end. A wisp of black smoke imdiately rose from the corpse, coalescing into a small, black figure that shot into the distance.
This was, of course, Si Yangze’s Soul.
At that mont, he was scared out of his wits. He never imagined Zhang Bin would actually dare to kill him, and without a shred of hesitation. He was overco with regret for not finishing Zhang Bin when he had the chance. Back when Zhang Bin was only in the Rushing Pulse Realm, killing him would have been as easy as crushing an ant. Now, a year later, he had died by that sa man’s hand. It seed not even his Soul would escape.
Still, he clung to a sliver of hope and fled as fast as he could. After all, most Cultivators were incapable of seeing a person’s Soul. Only Maoshan Taoist Priests could do that.
"Let send you on your way," Zhang Bin sneered. His left ear twitched, and a blinding bolt of ordinary Thunder shot out, striking Si Yangze’s Soul with ferocious accuracy.
What a joke. He was soone destined to confront the terrifying Netherworld Organization; his understanding of ghosts and souls surpassed that of most Cultivators, perhaps even that of a Living Ghost. And under his Spiritual Eye, no Soul could hide. How could he possibly let Si Yangze escape? Si Yangze had plotted against him nurous tis and even hired Assassins. In the fight just now, if he hadn’t absorbed Dragon Qi, which made his bones incredibly hard and slowed the Flying Sword, he would have been the one to die.
BOOM!
Si Yangze’s Soul completely disintegrated, turning into a faint puff of smoke that dissipated without a trace. A prominent figure of his generation, a genius of his ti, t his end because of his corrupt character. He was utterly annihilated by Zhang Bin, his body and Soul completely extinguished.
Zhang Bin’s eyes then shot out intense rays of light, bombarding Si Yangze’s corpse. The body burst into towering flas. Within a few breaths, it was reduced to ashes, leaving not a single trace behind.
"He’s dead... The Sect Leader was killed by Zhang Bin." The Cultivators of the Daoyi Sect were aghast, frozen with a chilling fear that gripped their hearts.
"A good kill!" Master Tianlong, Zhao Dawei, and the other mbers of the Special Action Team shouted in excitent.
A faint smile appeared on the Third-in-command’s face. He looked at Zhang Bin with appreciation. The youth had not let him down, nor had he let the nation down. From now on, the Daoyi Sect would be rid of its cancer and be truly under the nation’s control. The country would grow stronger because of it.
"This Flying Sword is pretty good. I’ve really hit the jackpot this ti." Zhang Bin admired the Flying Sword in his hand fondly for a long mont before storing it. He then leaped off the Arena of Life and Death, picked up his own Space Ring from the table, and took Si Yangze’s as well.
He scanned it with his Divine Sense, and a look of surprise crossed his face. Inside the Space Ring was a large amount of Gold and Jewels, along with so Spiritual dicine. There was also a very ancient Stele. The Stele was peculiar. It was small, no bigger than his palm, and only two fingers thick. Its surface was engraved with a strange map of what appeared to be a sphere, which was covered in a dense network of lines and bizarre text.
Excellent. This Stele must have co from so ruin, and that Middle-Grade Flying Sword was probably what Si Yangze found there. Although I have a magical phone and can contact Gao Si on Xuanwu Star to trade, making it not too difficult to acquire Middle-Grade Magical Treasures, finding a ruin full of them would be an incredible stroke of luck. Right now, I’m desperately short on Magical Treasures, and so are the other Taiqing Sect Disciples. We especially lack Defensive Armor. I don’t even have my Xuanwu Armor anymore. It’s truly dangerous. If not for my many fortuitous encounters, like absorbing Dragon Qi which is transforming my bones into Dragon Bones and making them incredibly hard, I would have died a miserable death this ti. So, I have to get so Defensive Magical Treasures imdiately. Besides, Magical Treasures aren’t a panacea. I must work hard to improve my body’s own Defensive Power. I’ll cultivate my bones into Dragon Bones, and then my body into a Dragon Body. Only by achieving an unbelievably strong defense can I hope to live a long life.
He put the Space Ring away and swept his sharp gaze over all the disciples of the Daoyi Sect.
"Greetings, Sect Leader!" All the disciples of the Daoyi Sect knelt tremblingly and shouted in unison, their voices filled with reverence. At this mont, not a single one dared to show any dissent. Zhang Bin’s prestige had reached its absolute peak.
"All of you, listen well," Zhang Bin began his inaugural address, his voice ringing with righteousness. "The Daoyi Sect does not belong to any single person. It belongs to the nation! It exists to govern the world’s Cultivators and prevent them from acting recklessly. You are rely its enforcers. Your sects sent you to the Daoyi Sect not to enjoy a life of comfort, but to temper yourselves and earn rit. They had high hopes for you. But by following a corrupt Sect Leader like Si Yangze, you have disappointed your sects and you have disappointed the nation..."
His presence was awe-inspiring, his aura overwhelming—a force that Si Yangze could never hope to match. A palpable wave of righteousness emanated from him, seeming to shoot straight into the heavens.
At this mont, he was the very embodint of justice.
