[3rd POV]
Getting out of the car, Haley and Billie made sure to be quiet as they walked down the street towards the ho. Knowing that if they had pulled into the driveway or anything, they would have been imdiately noticed by Claire.
So the two had to sneak over, quietly and quickly walking towards the door so that nobody would notice them. Be it the family themselves or a neighbor that might say sothing.
Claire had a few rather nosey neighbors that could cause them to be noticed.
Once they got to the front door, Billie stood next to Haley and gave her a nod, as her girlfriend lifted her hand and began to knock on the door.
They could hear talking on the other side of the door, seeming to be Claire. She was being fairly loud at that, so it was likely that she was borderline yelling about sothing. What was it? Who knew, it was hard to know with how Claire tended to be.
They both waited there for a few more monts before the door was pulled open by Claire, who was not paying attention to the door for a few monts.
"Like I said, make sure Luke does not flush his damn toothbrush again!" Claire yelled, before turning to the door, ready to see who it was, only for her eyes to widen.
"I'm ho!" Haley cheered with a grin on her face, as her mother almost imdiately moved forward to pull her into a bone breaking hug, not as powerful as that of Gloria, but definitely a lot stronger than Claire probably ant it to be.
"Haley! Billie! What are you doing back already? I thought you wouldn't be ho for another couple of days!" Claire asked, a happy smile on her face as she looked at her daughter and then to her girlfriend.
"Well we had done most of what we had wanted, so we figured that we should head on ho. And we also decided that it might be fun to surprise the family. You're the last of them, Grandpa Jay and Uncle Mitch already know" Haley replied with a small smile on her face upon seeing the look that her mom was giving her.
"Claire honey? Is there soone at the do-oh my god what're you doing here?!" Phil said as he walked around the corner, jaw dropping comically as he saw his daughter standing there.
What followed was another few monts of explaining themselves to Phil who was just happy to see them, and Claire who was beginning to notice...sothing was different about her daughter.
It made her narrow her eyes at Billie who ignored the look to the best of her ability, knowing that Claire was onto them. Well, more so the fact that they had slept together. But she sure as hell was never going to say a word about that, she wasn't stupid.
Nor did she have a death sentence.
Claire would beat her ass if she found out that they had slept together. Even if she didn't have a dick, it didn't make a difference to Claire.
The woman was damn protective of her children.
Eventually they found themselves in the kitchen, as Haley went into long detail of the things that they had done, and what they had seen while there. She had spoken with a lot more excitent with them than she had with Jay or Mitchell, particularly because this was her mom and dad, and it was just...different in her eyes.
Billie had spent most of the chat talking to Phil, who insisted on learning about the magic stores in the area, and had asked if they had been to any of them. He had also asked a bit about the hotel that they had stayed in.
Mostly because he had been told the na, but didn't know much else about it. Only to now find out that where they had stayed was quite literally used by royalty before, and had artifacts inside that were older than the United States was as a country.
It was very cool, but also very expensive.
"So you got us gifts? Why?" Claire asked, a little confused on why they had gotten them anything. It wasn't like they had done anything for it, beyond letting them do the trip in the first place.
"Because we thought it was the right thing to do. Now take your gift and don't complain" Haley said, as she handed the two of them their gifts. They both looked at her in confusion, before Phil opened the small box he had been handed. While Claire reached into the paper bag.
A gasp echoed from Claire's throat as she saw what the bag was.
"No way!" Claire said with wide eyes of shock, knowing what the bag in her hands was. While Phil looked at the wallet with glee on his face.
"You got a Hermès wallet?!" "You got a Birkin!?"
"Yep and yep. We actually got all the adults a wallet, and we got you and Gloria Birkin's" Billie said with a small smile upon seeing the genuine happiness on both of their faces.
"So you spent like what...a hundred grand on so wallets and two bags? Are you crazy?" Claire asked with wide eyes, anger beginning to show in them.
"Yep, a little. But we figured it was better than spending ten grand on wine only to later drink it like Jay did. And we wanted to get at least sothing for all of you. Hell, we even got stuff for Alex, Manny and Luke too. They were...a lot harder to buy for, but we had managed to do it" Billie replied with a calm look on her face, ignoring the glare that she was getting from the woman.
"Well I think it's aweso!" Phil said with a grin on his face, being completely truthful, which was rather normal for the man. He had a heart of gold.
"Phil!" Claire yelled at her husband, giving him one of her fiercer glares, while the man just looked over at her.
"What? They have a ton of money Claire, more than what we both make. So that ans they have a lot of money to use on what they want. So what if they buy so wallets and bags? It's not like it actually puts a dent into either of their wallets. Now, if Haley had bought a car, then I'd be concerned" Phil said to his wife, not seeing the way Haley began to cringe while Claire was staring at her daughter.
"No" Claire said simply.
"...Yes? In my defense...it's really really nice" Haley replied, while Phil looked between the two of them, as he slowly brought his hand up and dramatically facepald.
"And hey! Billie wants to buy a car that's worth like two millions dollars, so go after her, not !" Haley added, trying to deflect from their looks.
Billie gaped at her girlfriend's attempt at deflecting, a look of mock betrayal on her face.
"Yeah well my Koenigsegg is a hell of a lot better than a Ferrari" Billie snarked back, as Phil and Claire both choked on their own spit upon hearing what type of car Haley was buying.
""A Ferrari!?""
Upon seeing the look on her parents face, and the shit eating grin on her girlfriends face, Haley began to sigh, and said only one thing in response. And that was...
"...Ah damn"
