149. Return to the Human Plains! Part 2
It’s Jennifer Chartreuse and Julia Cerulean! Jenny and Julia, my old classmates from the Association. They both have brown hair with cute, oval faces, but Jenny has green eyes and Julia’s are blue. “That’s not going to be easy,” Jenny says as she considers the situation. “There are a lot of guard monsters between us and him. Force your way through, and the whole town will be in an uproar. They’ll think it’s an Incursion.”
I do look like a scary foreign monster, after all.
“That’s why I need your help. I’m not worried about a fight, but they could hurt themselves trying to subdue ." My Siren Voice would only get so far on its own. "They won’t attack with the two of you at my side deescalating the situation.”
“Hurt… themselves? Alex, how strong are you?” Julia questions in awe.
It’s honestly a little embarrassing trying to give a truthful answer without it coming off as a brag. “I don’t think anybody in town can even harm except Mrs. Fleece and maybe Principal Mustang.” Their eyes bulge at this revelation.
“W-well,” Jenny says while rubbing the back of her head in a nervous gesture, “No ti like the present"
