{Twenty-one years ago}
Luciana’s pov
I was in my one-bedroom apartnt.
I woke up from sleep, stood up from my bed and went straight for the window.
Opening the curtains, the bright morning sun greeted and I had to shield my eyes from the sun using my hand, since the sun’s light was too bright for my eyes, as I had just woken up from sleep.
As my eyes got used to the sun’s light, I removed my hand from my eyes and stared outside my apartnt for a long amount of ti.
My gaze was focused on a particular cherry blossom tree that had blood. Yep. It was spring. And today was March 23rd.
I was staring at the beautiful pink cherry blossom while I was busy thinking.
My younger twin sister, Allegra, got married before and already had a four-year-old daughter.
Allegra and I were the sa age (27 years old), but she had achieved what I had not achieved.
She married Alpha Ashton and beca the Luna of the shadows’ pack.
As if that wasn’t enough, she also gave birth to a daughter for him. As for , my life is pathetic.
I stopped staring at the cherry blossom tree and looked at my room. The whole place was a ss and reeked of strong alcohol.
My clothes, both neat and dirty clothes, were scattered everywhere in the room, sa with bottles of strong alcohol.
I have been drinking a lot recently.
At least, I thought that by drinking a lot, it would help escape my sad reality. But, I just couldn’t escape my reality.

Her voice was sweet and graceful. Not only was her voice so sweet as a lodic song, but also her nature.

"Why aren’t you saying anything, sister?". Allegra asked and I stopped thinking and was brought back to reality.
"Li- little sister. Please can you co to my apartnt? I don’t feel so good. I am sick". I said to her and she began to panic.
Werewolves don’t usually fall sick.
But if they ever fall sick, it’s no different from wishing for death.
"Hang in there, sister. I am going to go and inform my husband, and we will co et you and take you to a hospital".
"No!". I exclaid.
"Why, sister?". She asked .
I instantly faked a cough, before I weakly replied to her. "I want only you to co. You are enough for . I will get better once I see you. And, don’t tell Alpha Ashton or anyone else anything about my health. I don’t want everyone to be worried about ".
"Fine. I will do as you say. I am on my way!". She hung up before I could reply to her.
I knew my sister. I knew that she wouldn’t hesitate to co to .
In a hurry, I rose from the sofa and grabbed the bottle of wine that I had tampered with by putting a synthetic aphrodisiac drug in it. I then dashed out of my bedroom. I was already dressed.
I was going to the Luna’s mansion.
To , this mont was a once in a lifeti opportunity. And I knew that it was going to work well for because Allegra and I were identical twins.
We had the sa hair, the sa appearance, the sa eye color, and we were the sa height and were both slim.
And the craziest part, our scent and our voices were insanely similar.
It was as if fate was completely on my side and supporting .
No one has succeeded in ever telling and Allegra apart.
I hurried to the royal werewolves’ mansions.
The gate was opened for and no one suspected a thing.
Except for the fact that I must be wearing a different outfit from Allegra, who must have already left the mansion.
Without hesitation, I made my way to the Luna’s mansion.
Alpha Ashton loves my sister so much that he doesn’t usually stay in his own mansion but always cos to her own mansion.
Allegra even told that Alpha Ashton wanted to combine both mansions, but she told him not to.
After entering the mansion, I went and took a glass cup from the kitchen. Finding Allegra’s bedroom wasn’t a big deal to because I had been there countless tis.
Upon arriving inside Allegra’s bedroom, I saw him as I had expected. Alpha Ashton. He was sitting on the sofa and was busy operating the laptop that was on the table in front of him.
He turned to as he sensed my presence. "You are back already? I thought you said you were visiting your sister because sothing urgent ca up? And, how co you are now wearing a red dress? Wasn’t it a blue dress you wore before you left the mansion?".
’What a sister. Why did she tell him that she was visiting ? Well, I only told her not to tell anyone about my health or co with them to et ’. I thought to myself, before I smiled at Alpha Ashton.
One of the few different things about Allegra and is that she loves to smile, but I don’t.
I went and sat down beside Alpha Ashton on the sofa. I kept the bottle of wine and the glass cup on the table before I replied to him while smiling, "I knew I had left to et my older twin sister. But before I could reach her apartnt, I fell and my outfit was ruined. I couldn’t return ho like that, so I bought a new dress from a store that had almost closed. My sister later called and told not to co anymore. So I had to return ho".
"And the wine?".
"Oh. I took it from the fridge. I want you to have so with ". I said to him, before I gave him a peck on his cheek and went ahead to open the bottle of wine.

Up to an hour passed before Allegra returned ho. At that mont, after Allegra caught Alpha Ashton and , I saw the horror in Alpha Ashton’s face after he realized the mistake he had made with because he thought that I was his wife.
Allegra didn’t get angry at Alpha Ashton because she knew that he wouldn’t cheat on her. But her disappointnt was all focused on .
My plan of making alpha Ashton marry backfired against fully.
Out of rage, Alpha Ashton announced my cri to the twelve elders, before my cri was equally announced to most of the werewolves of the shadows’ pack.
I was banished the very next day from the shadows’ pack by Alpha Ashton. I didn’t forget how he looked at with hatred.
I thought that life was going to be worse for after being banished from the shadows’ pack. I never expected Allegra to send a huge amount of money to my bank account later on, combined with a ssage. "What did I do wrong to you to deserve what you did to , Luciana? Aren’t we sisters? Aren’t we supposed to love each other and look out for each other? Why did you do that to ?".

I lowered my head in disappointnt after I finished telling Caden and Chase everything. Even listening to my own story, I felt completely ashad of myself.
I know that almost everyone in the shadows’ pack must have forgotten about .
But, what did my little sister ever do to to deserve what I had done to her and her husband?
I hate myself. I am so sorry, little sister.
It’s suffocating that I could never tell you this face to face.
