“Miss Lu, about the house you used to live in, is there anything important? I can help you move it now, or would you prefer to check yourself?” Zhao Chen spoke frankly, but inside he was apprehensive.
He wasn’t sure if Miss Lu would agree to such a request since Mr. Gu’s orders were decisive and seed to consider her wishes not at all.
“I’m just nearby; I’ve nearly finished packing.”
Surprised by her casual reply, Zhao Chen hesitated for a mont, “Miss Lu, please wait, I’ll be there shortly.”
No wonder the BOSS didn’t show any annoyance at Mr. Arthur dropping a mountain of work on him today; it seed there was a reason.

Just before leaving, he ran into the BOSS coming out of his office for a eting.
He rushed over to apologize, “Mr. Gu, I really am sorry. There was just so much going on today that I didn’t get a chance to call Miss Lu until now. If it got any later, I feared Miss Lu would have had to move the boxes over by herself.”
Gu Annan, who initially didn’t pay much heed to what he was saying, paused upon hearing the latter part.
“By herself?”
“Yes, when I called her, Miss Lu said she had already finished packing. Mr. Gu, you had already discussed this with Miss Lu, right? Why didn’t you tell her earlier and make her wait so long?”
A mont later, Zhao Chen heard Mr. Gu’s voice, tinged with pleasure, “You’re just complaining about the workload today, aren’t you? Now, get on with it.”
As expected, Zhao Chen later heard that Mr. Gu didn’t show any ill-temper throughout the eting and was in an unusually good mood.
